Hello everyone,
I recently got my flyer (2 days ago ) I live in Lebanon and I noticed that my flyer doesn't support the Arabic language, and I really need that for my work, emails, internet browsing...Is there a place where I can download a ROM that supports Arabic? Is there a patch that I can install?
Please any suggestions are much appreciated.

Yes you can upgrade to Honycomp which support arabic reading and writing but the prossess is lengthy and you have to follow it carefully. the link below is speaking about reverting to GB but since your flyer is new you can just follow the upgrade to the end of the process you can change to other rom there in XDA I use Mwakious Flying ROM®(MFR®) NEW GENERATION 2.0

There is a thread about an Arabic Gingerbread ROM in ce4arab.com and adslgate.com, I don't have the exact link but it should be easy to find and they have all the instruction and it's much easier than flashing Honeycomb..

Hello,
If you look above the guys shared links with me, one of them shows you how to add the Arabic support without installing a full ROM.
However I found it complicated and found it much easier to just install the full Arabic ROM.
If you have bad internet, I doubt you'll be able to donload the ROM since its a minimum of 600 mb compressed.
Anyway try ce4arab.com mentioned in a previous comment above, I found the original Arabic ROM for the flyer and installed it successfully.

I am running the exact ROM right now and waiting for a flashable patch so I can load LeeDrOiD ROM as I found those ROMs were really good when I had my Desire HD but am not complaining so far..

I've updated my HTC flyer Wifi version with a rom backed up from a 3g version to get the arabic language support. Everything seem to work perfectly except that I'm getting that ugly No SIM card displayed on when switching on the device along with SIM icon on the top bar .
My Q how can I get rid of that ?

There is a patch in nickiberli's FlyHigh ROM thread that I think it might help you..
You'll find it in the 2nd or 3rd post..

I'm using the one from ce4arab forums by aseer essamt..

No I didn't 'cause I have a 3G Flyer so I don't have you're problem, but that patch is intended for people who flash nickiberli's ROM and still have you're problem even though they have a Wifi only Flyer..

So I flashed nickiberli's rom , I will use a internet browser that support arabic ( I can Live with that
I went through his thread and I figure out that you are a developer/programmer , So did you try madmac's solution to arabize the rom and what about hebfix ?!!
Am sorry to disappoint you mate but am not a developer nor a programmer :-( actually am a pharmacist but i happen to like tinkering with my devices and Android :-D
About madmac, I tried to do it but it just gave bootloops no matter how i do it, but to be honest the script gave me errors when i ran it on my laptop so I wasn't optimistic in the first place..
I tried running nicki's ROM with the other solutions to arabize it but what drove me back to the arabic ROM is Friend Stream and Gmail as i couldnt arabize those, so if you have better solutions let me know

Hi everyone,
Please can anyone tell me where to find a good and stable ROM for flashing my HTC Tianxi T9188. My brother brought it back from China and left it with me. Unfortunately, I dont understand the Chinese language it came with and need to flash in an English ROM to be able to use the phone.
Its a shame that I have such a nice phone but cant use it due to the language issue.

HTC Tianxi is the China only released version of the HD2. Some differences - CPU, RAM and TD-SCDMA. To me this seems a slightly lower spec'd phone than the HD2.
Check out pdadb.net - run pdacomparer. Doubt there would be any other language version's. At your own risk you could try some HD2 - built roms or ICS Andriod roms.
Thats the problem tx. I was hoping I culd get an English ROM for the HTC Tianxi T9188 and not have to experiment with the HD2 ROMs, considering that both phones have different hardwares. Thats the risk I dont wanna take cos of the possibility of bricking the phone. I did come across an Android ROM though but I can see CHS in the name of the ROM which tells me that it is still a Chinese ROM all the same.
Another problem I am facing is flashing the HardSPL for the Tianxi. It us using SPL 1.27.0000 and I cant find a hardspl flasher which is compatible with it. I have searched here and in other forums and Google and any other place you can think of, still nothing. Have tried the ones I have seen online and always met an error. Any help here will be most appreciated.

If you have SD Card try loading (SD version) in the root and (MAGLDR) boot etc. If that works then it may take NAND versions.
Other than experiment, sorry cant be of more help.
I have tried all the hardspl flashers I can find in the thread you gave ... from HSPL to HSPL4. Non of them could work for the Tianxi. All gave the same BAD ID error and wont flash the HardSPL.
Please help me anyone ... I am getting frustrated by this

I just got a desire V (T328W) dual sim in Malaysia,
After unlocking it I have flashed the so called "european" ROM, just to find, with my great disappointment, that it only contains east european languages.
I love this phone (IMHO, the only decent dual sim smartphone on the market) and I would like to add my language (Italian) to ICS, or at least in sense 4.0. I am a newbie when it comes to android, so can somebody tell me whether this is possible without re-cooking the rom?

I am new in android - so far I've only fighted with winmobile. But hope that with U're knowledge we can win again!!
I've got Prestigio 3370B with android 4.0.3. As it starts I can see Prestigio startup animaton and so on. My question is that:
1) Is on that tablet installed software that "covers" oryginal android and some of it's functions? Like sense on HTC mobiles or some "covers" usually installed on GPS devices?

i had few months ago an HTC wildfire s and i got some experience how to use CWM. i already flashed my phone with CWM and installed the modded 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and im really satisfied with it. I will really appreciate it if somebody can provide me a link or something where can i find more info about my china mobile..

Hello again. I need a little help again..
I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (MT6572). My friend would like to buy from me for his daughter. But he need Slovakian language in the phone. Because this phone is from Thailand does not have too many European languages. Can somebody help me where can i find European ROM for this device?
