Hi guys,
Sorry, I have some questions...
- How method to re-lock Bootloader on Xperia Neo?
- I know that by re-lock Bootloader would not be able to restore DRM, but after relock, Can i update firmware from/via SEUS or PC Companion?
Thank's very much

Flash using something else than flashtool?

Hello!
Is it possible to flash my Xperia Sola with some other tool than flashtool? Flashtool just doesn't work with my phone, so I can't relock my unlocked bootloader.

Does using SONY Companion or Sony Update Service brick unlocked-bootloader phones?

I am using a Xperia tipo dual and I have already unlocked my bootloader to gain root access from bin4ry, thank him so much :good:
The problem is that I have deleted some system apps without backing up them so I think I should use sony companion software or SUS to repair.
As far as I know, updating firmware OTA on an unlocked one will brick it, so does using SONY Companion or Sony Update Service brick unlocked-bootloader phones if I try to repair and create a ftf?
Thank you in advance.
And can someone upload a Xperia Tipo Dual ftf for me please?

Nope it won't brick the phone but on the other hand you can't update /repair either cause of the unlocked bootloader and the root...
You will get "modified software error" on both SEUS & PC Companion

Flash it with Flashtool and the firmware ftf file. Also you don't need an unlocked bootloader to root with bin4ry's method.

well, with Bin4ry's method, I tried three times with locked tipo dual and it did not work, then unlocked bootloader and tried again, it worked
Get the ftf file from somewhere around here..i am sure someone uploaded it.. Flash it worth flashtools...
And yes using SUS and pc companion will brick your device if it is boootloader unlocked..

Yup it's possible in two ways :-
1) Just flash the stock firmware with flashtool available in this forum for your device...
2) If you dont find the stock firmware then "relock bootloader" and repair your device with SEUS or PC Companion by doing this your both wishes wil be done to hv stock firmware and update through PC companion

Hey everybody, I just have a question about the bootloader, can I flash firmwares thats in a ftf or using update service when I have a Xperia U with unlocked bootloader using the sony method? Or do they just talk about when you update your phone using the update center app on your phone? Im just curius cuz I dont want to brick my new phone.
You can use flashtool, but NOT SUS or PC Companion. If you update with sus/pcc u will brick.

Ok, can you provide me with some FTFs?
You can find stock rom ftf's in ROM development section
btw you can always relock your bootloader if you want to update via SEUS
