i know this question has been asked a few times already but there hasn't really been a direct answer on if/WILL it be done or has been done that i have found yet!! I'm wondering if there is any possible way to get sense 3.5 rosie on sense 3.0 or 2.1?? Or even just port the notes and tasks and quicklaunch app/widgets to it!? those apps are my fav. part of the 3.5 rom lol! doing so would give us a 3.5 feel with the 3.0/2.1 features(4g , more customization, more stable, ect.) will someone pls help me out and answer this the best you can. i know alot of ppl wonder the same thing but just won't post anything!
thanks for your time guys!!
Do you have an HTC Phone ? If yes, which one ?
Yes, it can be ported to other devices (and has been already).

Hi all!
I switched to RomeOS and am quite satisfied, but I was wondering if I sometime need to "stock it" then it might be handy to have the ROM.
Is it any sight I might get it? Or does it include in any CD? This is my first HTC btw ;P
and is it possible to get some norwegian modifactions on these rom by urself, or must the author of the ROM apply them ? =)
Eitherway, nice site, and nice tutorials ;P Just use more pictures to illustrate and it might get easier ;P

Hello Fellows,
I just wish to know if is it possible to port our current WM devices? I mean, OEM drivers for Android.
If yes, would be wonderful for many WM users around the world that just wish to migrate to Android Plattaform for many reasons that many of us know pretty much.
Best Regards,
Erick

Hello, I know this is a really stupid question and please if you find too stupid delete this thread or report it.
Here goes: Is there a slightest possibility to get a sense rom on the samsung galaxy s2? Since im used to my htc hd2 which runs many roms and Oses.
Thanks in advancE!!
Someone is working on it, search for the thread in the dev section.
No its nowhere near working, its not even booting at the moment.
And it probs wont be usable for a very long time.
Hello everyone,
I have the G1 since he is out, and now the Huawei X5 since I don't have a lot of money to buy an expensive and good phone like the S2 or the Nexus S.
One thing that always interested me a lot was the Custom Rom for all kind, available to the G1 and now the Huawei X5.... But one thing is missing, I've been trying to make my own custom rom, porting from one device to another but I don't really know how to do that :S...
I know that the Huawei X5 and the HTC Desire Z are very similar phones (same CPU, GPU, RAM and Screen Size). Some roms that have been ported to the Huawei almost all are based in HTC Desire / Z roms.
I've been trying to port myself a HTC Sense Ui rom to that phone, but I really don't know how to start :S... I don't mind of having a lot of bugs to correct, I don't mind of having a lot of scripting and hard programming in Java or C to do that, I love programming in all kind of languages, and I have created a few apps for Android, but only one reached the Market since the others are just testes (like games), so I really don't mind to have an hard work. As I like to say, learn is always I good thing, more if it is something that we like.
So I'm asking, for someone who knows how to do it to help me. I don't need someone to do the work for me, and I don't need an extensive tutorial with pictures. I just need, if possible, a simple example, and the necessary tools, the rest I will try to search myself.
Thank in Advance for all of you that take their time to answer me.
And I'm really sorry for my Horrible English :S...
Luis Da Costa,
+1

Hi guys!
I have a question, I make roms for the LG Optimus 3D device, and let me know if you could carry aPKs ICS to Gingerbread, or is so hard it's not worth it.
Since I have searched and searched and nothing, so if anyone has done it I would like to guide me.
Thank you very much
P.D: If anyone is encouraged to port it too, here I leave:

OK well you wont be able to do a direct port, what it will require is using the Android compatibility libraries to replace the new API functionality (which GB doesn't have) The other option is to port the system.apk over (but i have no idea how one would do that)
This should all be pretty obvious to and Android developer though....
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.
