[Q] Sold my Atrix - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all. I sold my Atrix on eBay as Unlocked. I meant for it to be sold as Bootloader Unlocked.
I used it on ATT and the Guy that bought it wants to use it on T-Mobile. Is there a way to Unlock it for use with other carriers?
Any help will be appreciated.

Just keep in mind that no matter how you unlock it, that T-Mobile can only use Edge speeds. Actually that's gonna be more of the buyers issue but more if a FYI if the buyer asks you about that later...

I very much doubt you will be able to buy a dev/test phone from any authorized retailer.
I don't see why anyone would get a dev/test phone unless it somehow, accidentally got into a batch of Retail phones...........
Chances are if you don't already know then it isn't a dev phone.

If you are in good standing with AT&T you can request an unlock code from them.

Like the previous poster said, you can unlock directly through ATT if you are their customer.
If not, search for Atrix unlock code on ebay. Those should work too but cost money.

Did futureshop and best buy cancel the Rogers version?

Sarius 24,
Wanted to ask a few question on the Bell version. I have confirmed it will work on the ATT LTE and HSPA+ networks.
Can you toggle this model between LTE and HSPA+ (Not a big deal just wondering) Also does this have the S planner which is the calendar feature which you can use the s pen for? Finally can you delete the bloatware that comes on the phone without rooting?
Thanks,
Since I am buying off contract I just want to see all of my options before buying the LTE model

One more question regarding the Canadian models. I saw on the Bell website that it lists the RAM as 512 MB. And then of course other places copy and paste this info. Can someone who owns these models confirm 1 gig of RAM?
Also heard that NFC works on the Canadian models? Anyone try to install Google wallet to see if it works?
Thanks very much!

Att insurance

Is my atrix 1 breaks and I make an insurance claim, will they send me a replacement atrix 4g or will they send me an atrix 2 or atrix HD?
Sent from my MB860 using xda app-developers app
for me it was a GS2 or a HTC one S
There's plenty of atrix 4gs laying around. I'm sure they'll send another atrix to be honest.

Heard of a couple of people getting Atrix 2 as a replacement with AT&T.
Worst case scenario, when you "accidentally" break your phone and send it in they give you another 4G.

You can get the code from ATT, ebay or do it yourself (which is what I did) ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2124544
There is a way to unlock it without a code. I have a Rogers i717 on T-Mobile network. Search the threads. I think the instructions are still there. Barring that, try Google. If I find it I'll post a link.
