Hey, is there anything like the iPhone app BeBot for Android?
You should give more details about the application, you would get more chance to have an answer
Just google it. Its a pretty popular app for the iphone.

Hi,
thisi s very different to bebot, unfortunately. It's a nice starting point, but it's so far...
wow, i had searched for the bebot for iphone. It's looks good, hope it comes to us.
Help me! I'm so close to buying an iPad JUST for the BeBot app. Theres absolutely no musical synth like it in an Android app or even in straight musical hardware (short of a Haken Continuum, which with the required keyboard sound module costs between $6000 - $8000).
I'd love to see something comparable for Android. Or maybe if enough of us poke the developer with a stick they will make an Android version...
(can't post links, Google Normalware BeBot for developer's site)
I really don't want an iPad as a tablet. But if theres no other way to get this app, I may not have a choice.
Synth2
Sorry for posting in such an old thread.
I have been working on a similar app for Android for some time. I just release, what I call, a Beta version of it. It doesn't have the animations and the settings are quite different. Try it out! I call it "Synth2". All feedback is, of course, most welcome!
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post links, but here is the URL: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.mejf.synth2
Just letting you know..

I know there will be cracked/warez version but I am so buying it....coz it's worth it's weight in gold!:good:
Well basically, this girl I like, and me have the same phone, the Atrix 4G. Now I wanted to ask her to a dance, and wanna make an app for that, Something creative and original, like say plays a youtube video of me asking her to the dance, then opens up a prompt which says yes and no, if she selects yes, her phone calls/texts me the answer, what is your opinion on this? Will it work? Too Nerdy? Overkill?
I support this. Even if nerdy, id want to use it for jokes. Hah

i doubt you will find a dev who wants to spend time on this ... for free...
but you might figure out how to do this yourself
how long of a timespan do you have?
I reckon you might be able to get something up and running within 2 weeks~ if you're fast
this guy's got excellent FREE consolidated android dev videos on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/CornboyzAndroid
Hahaha thanks for all the positive replies, yeah I've never coded before in any kind of form, I'm more of a hardware person, though you see fragmentation won't be a problem here as me and her have the same phone. Any more how to videos would be appreciated, I have a lot of time for this, but just wanted to put the idea out there and get some support, after all I thought android devs would be more helpful considering they develop for open source platforms.

I hope you don't like this girl because she has the same phone as you. That's really... rhymes with day. But uh, if she says yes, put your app on the market and market it as able to get you dates. Btw, if she says yes and you two hit it off, are you going to make an app asking her can I see what is in your panties?

if u just want a simple answer between possible or not, yes its pretty much possible. anything is possible. sense already ported to non sense device, android already ported to symbian and winmo device, so this is pretty much possible indeed.

well, the problem with motoblur is that everyone seems kinda "hate" it compared to sense. frankly i've never really held any device that uses sense or motoblur even once, but from just the reading on the net me too were leaning towards sense than motoblur. it just a popular saying, sense is godlike while motoblur is crap. dont shoot me btw, im just repeating what everyone were saying

I don't get in love/hate flame area, i like what i like. With Motoblurr i like the clean interface and the design. I too never held a sense or blurr device... yes i like HTC HD2 sense UI more but the other versions of sense...not so much. Bottom line...i don't like touchwiz.

SENSE v3.5 ! I MUST HAZ XD
You can try HeLauncher, it has a customise option that makes your phone look like stock gingerbread, motoblur, sense etc.
You can check it out here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utXMx4tECEI .
I never tried it so i don't know if it's good or not.
Hi all, would it be possible to build a new launcher or ui/theme, much like one of the Iphone 5 mockups (see images).
I simply LOVE this concept and I think it would look great on our X10's.
Any take on this? Anyone willing to try to build something similar?
Wrong section...
Also, if someone was this good of a developer/designer they definitely wouldn't be using the x10..

Alright, so you don't like it. I respect that.
But could you tell whether it would be possible in theory or does this concept goes way too far from the original idea of Android?

Ok you design something even a hundredth as encompassing as that then...
Might as well just write your own OS then while you're at it

hey friend,
this UI looks different from what we have seen since the 1st day.. dont u all think so..
this one is really cool.. well.. the bee hive icons not that cool but still blend with the overall layout and color..
it is definitely difficult but not impossible.. and lot of time consuming.. when many great devs moved on..
i think this has arrived a bit late to review by the devs..
anyways.. nice one to think again for the devs..
great going..
thanks..

Have you seen even one mod that was that encompassing?
You guys read into things too much.
My phone has been bugging out way too much, and i want to get a virus program. Which one is the best?
Its pointless from what I understand. There's no real "viruses" for android. Its just a battery killer. But if you insist, avg has a version.

If it's "bugging out" - have you confirmed it's malware?
95%+ chance it's not - Android malware is extremely rare (especially since Droid Dream variants were pulled from the Market). If you are not an idiot and don't install random stuff from the Market without researching it, you'll be fine. Installing any sort of an antivirus will just make things worse.
This isn't Windows where they're hacking a new security model on top of a fundamentally broken base - Android has a fairly comprehensive security architecture that usually works. (Right now there are no privilege escalation exploits for 2.3.6 and above to my knowledge, and even when zergRush worked, I don't know of any malware that adopted the same exploit.)
