Is there any way to remove the home menu and back button haptic feedback, obviously I have turned vibration off in the settings menu and these can't be removed as there is on option there. It really bugs me I guess it eats the battery too why didn't they leave this option to the user.
Does anyone known how to turn them off any other way
Thanks
Vin
I believe the only way you can turn them off is if you have full registry access, which us Nokia peeps don't yet have.

It's very annoying for me, may be someone have to develop special app for customizing vibration. It would prolong precious battery life as well

Hello,
I was wondering if I could turn off that standby light without having to turn off the MDA, so that I still can receive calls, it saves some battery and it wouldn't light up my bedroom while sleeping, sometimes annoying
Thanks!

There are plenty tools who can do that trick, (search for something like, screen toggle !)
Have you tried holding the power button down for 2 seconds?
I want to ask you, if you know how to turn off the flashing of the green light of the XDA II? Or the Bluetooth, cuz I hate to see it flashing. 10x
it doesn't work with screen toggle
it really dont use very much power to blink a led that way

this surely must have been asked before but can't seem to find any answer.
does the SGS2 have a status/notification LED?
No it does not. But I use No LED from the market. IMO it works great.
i wonder how many of those that have battery problems are using NoLed.
BLN
We need BLN like SGS1.
The notification system is bases on touch buttons lights but for that we need a custom kernel. I hope supercurio or braap will come with one, quickly.
using noled without a battery issue.
I guess a few jumping around pixels on a AMOLED display won't hurt much,
I think battery life is great. Of course if you use large icons and vibration and maybe audio notifications your results may vary.
I just like to be able to walk away and come back to visually see a missed call, e-mail sms ect.

Ok, not sure if anybody can help me....
Apps like gmail still vibrate the phone when I get am email even during a call... This is very annoying since the vibrate is pretty strong. Any way to prevent this through some changes to framework or whatever? Maybe configurable?
Or maybe there is already a setting???
Thanks!
Really nobody any idea?

I really need this myself, I usually talk on speaker while I mess around my phone.
The other person on the line usually gets annoyed.
Have you gone to settings/call/call alert? There's an option to turn on and off alerts on call.

Hey there. In this thread I'm gonna share a simple solution that will solve your RAM management issues especially when network required applications are minimized they tend to close instantly irrespective of you locking the app in recents,this is because the ColorOS tweaks the App behavior such that the battery life increases. Following this guide will solve the issue.
Here's how:
1) Go to Settings.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2)Battery
3) Energy Saver
4)Choose the app you have the issue with.
5)Turn off 'Background Freeze'
6)Turn off 'Abnormal app Optimization'
7)Turn off 'Doze'
Know that by doing this your battery life may take a hit. But poor experience with a great battery life is not all we want.
I'd be glad if it solves your issue.
This does not work. It seems OPPO has some weird restriction and freezes apps running in background. So, no push notifications are received.
I noticed that the battery remaining for my headphones is displayed in the Bluetooth settings as per the screenshot below
I was curious if anyone knows of a free app that would display this info in the notification bar every time my headset is connected?
I tested almost 20 apps and they pretty much all dont work properly or at all
Basically some dont auto start on phone boot or on headset connect. Others dont close upon disconnect
any suggestions?
