m using moto defy. I inserted my headset into my phone. started Music -> FM. sound comes clear and audible. but m not able to listen it on loudspeaker. sound from the headsets are proper but no from the loudspeaker. there is an headset symbol that appears on the FM screen, but after pressing it, no result.
I also tried installing toggleheadset2, but was unaware of how to use it.
please help..
For starters...what ROM are you running?

you can install a market FM app or flash the cM rom instead.

There is this weird noise which plays whenever I am listening to Music or Radio while using Ear Phones on my Mini Pro. The ear phones work perfectly fine while in a Call so i don't think its a port problem. My Current ROM is MIUI and the boot image i am using is Super Xperia. The noise sometimes stops music. I think it started after i installed the Beats Audio Driver.
Kindly help me what to do ?
u cannot get rid of beats audio separately.so flash the rom again with full wipe as instructed in the rom thread & don't flash beats audio

Havin' some problems with my Xperia Ray + stereo bluetooth headset SE MW600
I have my phone with good earphones connected via 3.5 jack.
I want to use it with my MW600 as a control panel for phone's music player.
But if i connect my bluetooth MW600 headset simultaneously with earphones - sound goes to the bluetooth instead of earphones.
Is it possible to change the priority of sound stream to go firstly to 3.5 jack and then to bluetooth?

Yeah you can. You can set your MW600 on FM and MP3/Phone. When you set it on FM, the sound from your phone stays in your phone. Only the calls are diverted to your MW600. So, plug in your earbuds in your phone, and select FM on Mw600.

I've been using cm on my razr for a few months. The problem has not shown up until recently, when i moved into cm10.1 by hashcode and his friends about 10 days ago.
Basically, i found my wired headset not working any more. It's a pair of stereo earphones with a microphone on it. I'm sure it works with several different devices (so it's compatible) including other moto cellphones and ipad, and also with my razr when it was running on cm10. But after upgrading things go weird: when i plug it in the phone jack, no notification appears, which should act like older cm10 telling me i'm using a wired headset. And, of course, sounds don't go into the headset, but still the phone's speaker.
I've tried searching the web, and googled a post (but i forgot the keywords so i couldn't find it anymore....); in the post the guy said his samsung, too, doesn't work with headset, and when he put the volume to the highest, he can hear some scraches in the headset. I followed his idea, but installed an app at first, which re-routes the sound into headset manually. Then, the speaker became silence as expected, but i could only find "scraches in the headset" as that guy did in his post. And i can hear large clicks & pops when plugging the earphone into & out of the jack.
Does anyone have some ideas on it? seems no previous discussion i cound find.... Thanks in advance.
ps. none of the previously working apps works, including skype, some media players, the integrated music player apollo too. The phone calls can be heard using Bluetooth headset, but no again with Wired headset.

I've tried the sound about app and all the same.I've tried google dialer but also the same problem. So i am left with a bluetooth headset that i can only listen to music and not place a call.Any help or idea?
I am also facing the same problem. The Bluetooth connection displays - "Connected (no phone)". The Bluetooth headset works fine for phone media but doesn't work for calls. Anyone is able to use a Bluetooth device with Redmi NOte4 please?
I've been using Bluetooth on RN4 on nougat. However, I faced the issue you're describing only on Oreo ROMS.

this is a bug prevalent in all oreo roms, however some say that in omni rom, bluetooth call audio works, so maybe you can try that out

I am using the stock MIUI 9.2 ROM and still facing this problem. Any help is highly appreciated.
No issue with BT calls on mido 9.0.5.0 or 9.2

It works in Atomic OS Plasma (Oreo).

Yes exact same problem cannot enjoy call via bluetooth headset. I think it's manufacturer defect in the phone. Cheap Bluetooth hardware Xiaomi placed I guess
after updated to android pie throug ota, i can not record or send voice message through the bluetooth headphone, iam using airpod, i tried with couple of other bluetooth headphone too, all having the same problem,
when iam using whatsapp or calling with thirdparty apps like imo with bluetooth headphone, the phone' internal mic is working instead of headphone's mic , the other end could hear my voice,
but
if i hold and close the phone's internal mic hole with my finger the other end could not hear my voice,
i already factory reset my phone twice, but still having the issue,

Yes. Tried updating firmware on headphones but it didn't help.

I have an S9+ running Android 10. I have Beats Ur Beats 3 wired ear buds and the mic doesn't work on those either. It used to when I first got the phone when it had Oreo on it. I miss that feature as I used it all the time. I'm guessing there is no fix in the near future.
