Call pad Issue Mik's ROM - Optimus One, P500, V General

Optimus T
Loaded Mik's ROM hopefully this is the one I should be using. When I pull up the dial pad and I press the call (phone) icon it fails to do anything at all which I was hoping it would recall the last person that called or I called. It does nothing at all.

press menu->prefences-> tick "call button retrives last..."

When I press menu->prefences-> I get my Launcher settings menu and no option like that is in there.

Ah nvm I got it... do that in the call pad screen lol thank you!

Oh thanks

longpress the menu key it will pop up the keyboard then just switch to numbers
I initially tried that but I was using swype, maybe that had something to do with it.

Thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately, I already checked and it is checked. It still does not load upon double-tapping the home button. I should probably mention that I'm on Syndicate 1.1 Rom.

No direct call button?

OK my droidx there was a phone icon in the recent call log and I believe the address book that I could tap to call the person. With the gs3 I have to open up the contact first and then hit the call button. Anyway to make it call directly from the contact list?

swiping to the right on the contact will call , to the left will open messaging.
I'm pretty sure this is on by default... if not you will have to enable it.
Oh fantastic that works great. Is there a post with other such tricks?

Nice find, thanks!
It pauses for about 1-2 seconds which is a little annoying - seems slow, but it's definitely better than clicking everywhere!
Is there any way to get the ICS dialer on here? (rather than using something like Go Dialer)

[Q] Quick call button

Hello!
I would like to know if there is a way to add a call button next to the contact name.
I find the swipe to call a bit uncomfortable while driving...
no one knows?!?!
No way unless you miss with the apk
