hello everyone, i really need help in rooting and flashing custom roms in my galaxy s2 i9100g. the problem is that i cant find proper custom roms for my phone. i am capable of rooting my phone, its just a matter of finding the insecure kernel and flashing it then using superoneclick and then flashing the original kernel back in. but what would i benefit if i cant install custom roms. by the way. to install roms i need clockworkmod recovery right? please some1 help me i really want to do this and experience the full power of android
Thanks in advance =)
What you would benefit if you can't install custom roms? I you can't root your device with those guides that is here I suggest you to not root. You will probably end up bricking your phone.
And btw, searching google for it shows even more sites with guides..did you put any effort at all in trying to find out yourself or are you just lazy?

Seems to me you already know how to root? Now are you asking for custom ROM for i9100g?
You can try CM first.

Hi guys,
been a lurker for quite a while, finally need help from a owner of this phone. I need the stock kernel, I've searched google and the forum but the download links are all dead. Unless the stock rom comes with the kernel in, the unofficial cm7 comes with a kernel, I'd extract it from the rom but I don't know if its stock!
Sorry if there's something really obvious and I'm missing it.
Thanks
tauhir
