Is it possible to change the CRT shutdown effect into a maybe beam up/ teleport animation?
Like how does Android handle the CRT effect? Is it some sort of prerendered animation?

i was actually thinking of this.
but have a series of shapes instead.
like turn on/off screen would be;
a star
a circle
a square
or something of that sort
or even if the screen turns on/off, maybe it opens sideways.
like this

Omg..... I just thought of the most awesome screen on and off ever.
Comes in 2 variations.
Both from Fight Club..One is SFW lol
When you hit the power button instead of blink out or on, the screen tilts. You see the "cigarette burn" and the film track off and go black.
And of course. The NSFW variant would show a big Wang for a microsecond before turning off.
Rofl.

hahaha that first one was badass...
the second one.... wellllll idk about explaining that one to your friends haha
Lol, they're all great ideas, but does anyone have an idea of what I should edit/look for?
there are some already posted up in the theme app section. if you have root. you can look in system/customize/ boot down is srpint-bootdownanimation.zip boot up is sprint_bootanimation.zip
nothing more then a bunch of images aligned. the key is having the right amount to fill the void.

Hello i am from slovak republic so sorry for my english. Hello! My name is Alejandro. I had a Moto X but you can't have nice things here in México and some nights ago i got robbed and bought a second-hand xperia P but i really miss OK google and active display.
Now i know OK google can be used with open mic and apps like that but this phone's battery life is awful and i can't even imagine how worse it would get with an always listening mic. And Active Display won't install in a non-moto device (even some moto G users can't get it to work) but i think i've seen double tap 2 wake in some kernels but they also drain the battery pretty quickly.
So here's the question (and i really don't know anything about programming besides HTML and a little java so forgive me if i'm asking something stupid): is it possible for developers to add Double tap 2 wake and OpenMic or some feature like that but somehow only trigger these functions when the phone's charging? Like:
Phone Charging (is it possible to make this also for deepsleep but ONLY when the charger's plugged?):
-Always listening microphone
-Double tap 2 wake
Phone running on battery:
-Normal stuff that a kernel should do while on battery lol (maybe a little underclock for those of us who don't really use much the phone for games)
I know this is my first post and i'm sorry if i'm being annoying but tell me, is this possible? how viable is it?
Thank you all for reading, good luck if you try to do it :good:
Double tap 2 wake is a kernel thing. The other things you want can be done through tasker app

Hi,
I have an Xperia Performance X F8132 running Android 7.0 Build number 39.2.A.0.417. I use the Do Not Disturb feature where it sets the phone into silent for a period of time. I use it a lot as I always forget change my phone back. It now no longer works in that it does not return to normal after the set time, i.e. it stays on do not disturb. I don't know when it started to do that but I suspect during a recent update.
Did anybody else see this issue?
