[Q] Best ROM for battery - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What is the best ROM for the x10 to retain battery life?
Do not recommend CM7, as when I used that, there was no market app and 3G didn't work (yes, i set up my APN again).

Battery Usage - Android OS

I upgraded to Wolf's CM6 v61 and ive noticed a decrease in battery life. Checked the battery usage and the Android OS is using 80%. Anyone know what the Android OS consists of? (bluetooth, wifi, music apps.... ect..???)
Try to wipe battery stats in xrecovery. I'm using the same custom ROM and I'm pretty satisfied with the battery life. Do not use any task killers. You don't need them.

I use the cyanogen data toggle or data toggle widget from the market to turn off 3G when I'm not using it and it makes a HUGE different in my battery life.

I think you meant by Jusada ...
Anyway... How is data signal strenght in your region?? When it is slow, the phone keeps loosing and retrieving signal which causes it to be constantly searching for networks and that could be what is draining your battery.
Sorry for my bad english!
Try this tweak. Its awesome -

Try Under Clocking CPU, say 480 Mhz while Data connection is enabled. I am getting enough battery life after UC.
If you don't know much about Clocking, search xda forums.

I don't use 3G at all on my Ace, I always leave it on Edge or wifi for a little bit and I get a pretty decent battery life. Running Jusada's ICS Final with Slaid's LagFree script. I get about 10-12 hrs depending on my use.
check cynogenmod settings
Please check the Cynogenmod settings > performance settings > cpu settings. Minimum value will be 122 mhz . But the max value will not be set by default. Set that to 806 mhz . And check the battery drain. In my case same issue happened and now it's just ok.

Here are some steps you could use to save battery while you use the Jusada ROM
.Download SetCPU! and underclock your phone to 480Mhz!
.Decrease the brightness!
.Use wifi only while you charge your phone!
.If you are in an area where data connection is not available change ur service provider!
.Decrease your gaming and listening to music (if you do so)
Press thanks if I helped you!

It clearly is a battery calibration issue. Install battery calibration from the android market. Charge to 100% and that's then re-calibrate. That should bring about major changes. My battery went from 4 hours to 9 hours.
Try infiniti and the myth ics rom best for battery backup.and then recalibrate it

Im using the MYTH ICS + lagfree script by slaid + turbo boost v8.5 and the battery life reaches way over 10 hrs..

Use Tasker. See my signature link.
You may use DX battery booster App available in the market.
It reminds you when the battery is fully charged.

Stock VS. MiniCM7

What will i lose from switching from minicm7 to stock? cuz i just discovered i can use link2sd so what will i lose from switching back?
speed, performance, improvement, dual touch, support, space, memory, etc, i personally think you'll lose a lot of very good features, i will never go back to stock
push notifications. = battery life.
compatibility with a lot of programs that requires froyo+
and a lot of more things.
Thx guys,staying minicm7 then
