I'm pretty sure the battery will work but it's a hair too deep and the back will not fit on.

As per jokers statement, there is nothing else useful to us. All we can hope for now is that moto delivers on their word.
I ordered an extended battery everythibg works but it shows a grey battery with an exlimation point on the battery icon I'm on newts 4.1 Rom thanks in advance.

sorry to say but it's a fake. the real extended doesn't even go past 2750 mah
Sorry but nowhere does it claim to be an OEM battery...I hate to say it but this one was 100% your fault for not paying attention. Website did nothing wrong.
