I have a game found and installed from the market. It was the lite version.
Searching for the paid version with the phone in the market, yielded no results.
Searched for it on the market website with my pc.
The app is now bought but I cannot install it to my hd2 as it says it isn't compatible.
What can I do?
you can get a refund within 15mins.
Those 15 minutes have just passed.
I think google are extending the window in which you can get a refund. WOn't help you now of course. I bet if you email the dev nicely he/she'll refund..
Yes, but I really want the app, not my money back.
I tried build.prop tweaking + old market to register my phone as an older one but it wouldn't pass as a desire hd and download the apk.
Besides waiting for a reply from the dev ( emailed him with the receipt and ask for help) the next step would be to setup an android emulator to have market installed and download it from there.
This is way not cool.

Hey guys, I was having some trouble purchasing some Apps on the android marketplace with my new SGT 10.1. Here's the problem: let's say for example I wanted to download Spectral Souls from the marketplace. So I click on the app on the store and click buy, so it takes me to the checkout screen where all I have to do is press "ok" to download and install the game. Now for some reason the "ok" button is not pressable or can not be tapped, meaning it won't allow me to buy it. The really weird thing is it works for some Apps but for others it does not. for example doodle jump works but Wisp does not. I. Already contacted google but they aren't replyi. I I have version 1.0.27 running on the marketplace which is the latest update and my credit card works because I just bought beautiful widgets... Any help?
apps is either not compatible with the device or not availalble in your country
Google finally responded, and turns out American Express can not be used to purchase Apps that are from foreign countries.
Title says it all. I recently bought Cordy from the Android Market. If I'm in the mood to install some other ROM, will I be able to play Cordy again(re-download it for FREE in the android market) or I'll have to pay 2 euros again?
Thanks
Maybe, just maybe you will get an answer if you post your question in the Android section
Hi, I currently own the Sony Tablet P Japanese model. The thing is that I actually brought it so I could play Crash Bandicoot on it. Well, to my surprise Crash Bandicoot was not pre-installed into it. It has a golf game pre-install in place of Crash Bandicoot. I was wondering since the Sony Tablets got rooted now, would there be a way for me to get Crash Bandicoot?
I am actually quite new to the Android scene being the Sony Tablet P as my first Android device, so I hope you could forgive me for my ignorance.
Crash is on the Playstation store and does'nt require root, here in the UK it was available as a free download but can now be purchased.
Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for the info, but I am afraid I currently live in Japan. I do not have access to the UK PS store. I have access to the US PS store and also the Japanese PS store and both of these stores do not have Crash available. At least since the last time I have checked it... f^^;
If Crash is on the UK PS store, I do have the option of making a UK PS store account... But I do not have a credit card or any other means into putting credit into a UK PS store account.
Could be a problem then, I have no idea how to get round that one, although I have seen other people in other forums presented with the same problem and have seen some very inventive solutions about account access - mostly in PS Vita forums - you could try looking here :-

Best of luck

Thanks for the advice, but I guess my question for this is that would the Crash Bandicoot apk file be different than the one that is on the Sony tablets? The reason I ask is because I seem to be about to find many Crash Bandicoot apk files and they are usually dated from before the Sony Tablets were released. (If I am not mistaken) I just want something compatible, I wouldn't like the idea of the game crashes or the controls are buggy. But anyway thanks for the info, I will give it a try when I have time and see how it goes.
i think those apk files are for play.... so the date are eariler
since i bought my mate 10 pro i got all kind of stuff update via google play but whatsapp and facebook last update say last month
also when i go to google play i see the same old date ? wht dont they update in google play ? its weired because they always got update in other phones every week ???
I'm interested also if someone has the answer.
It seems like it's from google, who decides a lot for us. Like for android pay : Why I can't dowload it if I want !? if you are not "declared" as being part of a country where it is enabled, then you cannot download it, WTF. So if you travel in a country where it is enabled, you cannot use it.
Personally I often use things like aptoid to get APKs. I don't need google to decide for me what app and what version I should have.
plz if someone can help us thx
Last week my friend buy a Honor 8x mobile form Vmall Huawei online store in china, and after come back to USA, he gift me the phone. but here i face some problem. i can not install google play store. Please help me and give me a solution how could i do that.
First you need to get and run the GMS installer:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/themes/gms-installer-google-play-100-huawei-t3809447
Then get the Google installer, it's all in Chinese, just run it and approve all the installs:
https://itechify.com/2016/11/10/download-google-installer-apk-chinese-phones/
Make sure you grant Google Play Services and the Play Store permissions.
Finally you will probably need to update Play Services and the Play Store, and these can be a little buggy when it comes to updating themselves, so use the Yalp store instead:
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.github.yeriomin.yalpstore/
This worked for me, hope it works for you too!
