+ in front of number on call display - HTC Amaze 4G

Hi Guys,
When I was on Rogers, the caller ID relayed the + in front of all numbers. As well, I save all my numbers in my phone book with the +.
Now that I am on Telus, the caller ID no longer relays the +. While my phone has no problem displaying the right information / contact, my car now won't show the right name because the number on my phone (no +) no longer matches what is in my car.
Is there an app that can force the + to display on inbound calls?

[Q] Enabling a default prefix for all telephone numbers in Contacts

Hello,
I'm facing the following problem: My Android based (Gingerbread) smartphone has a number of contacts with several phone numbers (home, work, mobile etc.) for each. When I call a contact the call goes through the mobile operator and I'm charged for the call by him.
I also have an an Asterisk-based PBX with a FCT (Fixed Cellular Terminal, or GSM Dialer or Fixed Wireless Terminal) connected to a VOIP provider that charges much less. If I prefix a phone number in Contacts with a fixed string (containing the mobile number to the SIM card in the FCT, plus some pause, plus the password to access the PBX's dial tone plus a bit more of pause) it works fine.
What I'm looking for is a way to have this standard prefix string stored somewhere and it be automatically padded at the beginning of each number dialed. Ideally, when dialing a contact I would be asked if I wanted to call with or without the standard prefix.
Is that doable?
All help is very much appreciated.

After further searching I've come across an app found on Android Market called Prefixer, by 253below.com. It does everything I want and much more. Maybe this info will help some one else looking for this.
Hello
I need a little help please...
i have configured the follow rule für incoming calls:
When numbers matches:
\+49535111222.*
remove characters:
\+49535111
Add number to call log:
prefixer number
other preferences are default.
i will like to see the 222 at a incoming call on the calling sreen, but i dont see it.
In the call log is the correct number 222, but dont on the calling sreen, there is only the android calling number with all caracters
Tobi
Hi Tobi,
I'm afraid I can't help with your problem as I've only used Prefixer for padding a prefix to outgoing calls, according to filters. However, they have a forum running at the developer's site (253below.com) and you should be able to have your questions replied there.

My Profile Work Phone #

So in the contact section under My Profile, I have my work #, work cell #, and home #. Yet when I call from one of those 3 #'s it just say call from "Me" it just shows incoming call from XXX-XXX-XXXX like a non address book contact. Short of making a separate contact in the phonebook for me is there a way for it to show my name when I call from one of those?

Call Forwarding - Caller ID and Forwarder ID

Hello all,
I've configured my S2 to forward calls to my S3 (I have to keep both lines active and I don't want to carry two devices).
However, sometimes when a call is forwarded, it shows the forwarder ID (S2 line number) besides of the caller ID.
I'm using CM10.1 on both devices.
Could someone test it and tell me the results?
Is there something I can do to always receive the caller ID?
Thanks!

Looking for dialer with access to contacts

I have a mobile sim card that has a full integration with our analog phone network: e.g. I have a mobile phone with a mobile, short internal and long external number combined. My colleagues can call my mobile number, my internal number and other people can call my external number and all calls end up on my mobile phone.
It is also possible to transfer an incoming call to someone else in our company using MMI code. When I receive a phone call I can click de dialer button and manual enter, for example, *345#. When the owner of that number answers I tell him I have a phone call for him and I end the call. The caller is talking to my colleague now.
What I would like to do is getting the option to access my contacts instead of the digital key board, as you can image is manual entering and remembering a few 100 numbers impossible.
Does anywone have an idea?
