This is my latest version of Froyo Longhorn 1.4.2. It is still based on Simplestreak Kernel but with a few more tweaks added. I added ICS window annimations, Roboto font, and I have also added a Red and Black Theme to this version to make it look even better. My ROMs are still stable as always. As a Bonus, Since I was feeling a little nerdy, I added a Custom Flux Capacitor Boot Animation with it based on the Iphone app by Pocket Paradox. Enjoy!

Here is an updated version of Longorn with an ICS theme. It is still based off of 354, but has the Kernel from SimpleStreak1.3. It is very lightweight and fast with emphasis on stability. It is overclocked to 1.19 but the battery life suffers the higher you overclock it. I have added my tweaks to it and added some themed apks. This is Froyo version and it is running 2.2.2.
Recommended Instructions for install
1-Download both zip files to your SD card
2-Reboot into Streakmod Recovery, and flash 1.4.1 zip
3-Reboot all the way into Froyo OS
4-Reboot into Streakmod Recovery, and flash Theme Update zip

thank for development.
it don't work in my dell.
please fix it, many thank
What issue are you having installing it? Have you tried a factory reset?
Okay for some reason the ICS theme causes it not to boot, but it does work as an add-on. I am putting a base file up and the theme as an add-on. Bear with me till i get it up.
For those that already have it downloaded, just flash a theme after you flash 1.4 and it should boot for you.
Okay, the updated Rom and Theme are in the first post. Several issues have been worked out.

Would someone be so kind to upload pictures or a video of this Rom? That would be fantastic!

You need Metamorph from the Market to install this.
Be sure to make a Nandroid backup before applying.
This is untested, so apply at your own risk.
P.S. I wasn't able to modify the resources.arsc without bootlooping, so the menu remains gray

Gingerbread animations - http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/...spys-gingerbread-for-cm61-v131-updated-13-12/
Works on my XT720; Install only the animations
I installed this through Metamorph and found that it led to a reboot every time the phone was unlocked after the initial boot. Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?
It didn't work for me. When the phone was rebooted it would load up to the lock screen but would reboot as soon as I tried to unlock it.
for riley and 3rdstring
what version of dexter's rom do you apply this theme?
v1.2 or v1.2a ?
Now that you mention it I was running 1.2 not 1.2a (Doh!!). I'll have to try again sometime.
There are two subthemes.
The first subtheme should work for other versions as well.
However, the white clock probably works only for 1.2a.
Perhaps you could just try applying the first subtheme? Although that would mean your clock would be invisible ;P
I'm running 1.2a.
Maybe I'll try applying only a subtheme.
I'm sorry, I included some extra animations when I thought I'd removed them. That's why it reboots when trying to unlock the lockscreen because it's trying to do an animation which doesn't exist.
Here's the fixed version,
mediafire.com/file/k05505q4crag72v/gingerbread_dexfroyo11.zip
it should work now (I hope)
yeah..its work..thank's..
please port another theme for us..
Great port! Works now, thanks!
Can you confirm that the transition theme works that you linked above? It says they are for a CM6 ROM on a Hero (I think).
Love the versatility of metamorphs - thank you for this been looking for ages!
Works on 1.2 too.
Works great on 1.1b (stuck here due to problem trying to install the porte themes from the other thread in the fourm), no issues so far.
I've tried Krispy Gingerbread animations and they work fine. Just don't install the others

Also, I dont get those custom buttons at the bottom of the screen as shown in your screenshot. How do I get them?

This is just a zip you can flash to erase whatever theme you are using (for stock ROM). This will install all stock apps, stock frameworks, fonts and boot animation. I use this when I'm testing themes. Much better than re-installing stock ROM because you don't have to do any wipes (keeping all your apps and settings) and it will keep your OC kernel active. Also much quicker than re-installing stock or restoring nandroid

Ok, I'm coming from the moment and everything seems to be a little more confusing on the shift. I just perm-rooted my shift yesterday. Now I'm looking to theme it. I haven't installed any roms or different kernals yet, because I'm really confused on which one to do, cause a lot of them say something is broken.
So what i wanted to do was apply the cyan dragon theme. So I assume this theme eraser acts like a theme template and I have to use it before applying any theme.
Now the next problem I'm having I can't even download this or the cyan theme. Every time I click on the download link I get directed to the dropbox site and I get a 403 error. I even tried creating my own account and logging in and still don't know how to get the file. Don't know if its a dropbox problem but I've been trying since last night. I've never used dropbox before so maybe I have to do something different to get the file. Unless it's an xda thing and I don't have proper permission to download this file.
Any help would be appreciated, cause I really want to theme this bad boy.

This is not a theme template per se. You don't need to use this to flash a theme. This is for when (for example) your on cyan dragon and you decide you want to try a blue theme. This puts framework, apps, ect back to default (using nfinites rom as a base deodex) since not all themes have the same themed apps and you don't want to have some themed apps leftover on the wrong theme. This is also much faster than reflashing a rom, keeping all your apps and settings. If you're trying to flash cyan dragon then I recommend flashing nfinitefx45's stock 2.0 rom found in android developement first. The issue with the links is dropbox related and I'm planning on moving everything to multiupload later on today, then ill update the links.

hi guys,
this ROM has been modified from dell official build 345 of froyo 2.2.2 using parts of dj_steve's streakdroid1.9 so all the credit goes to dj_steve only.
listed below are the modifications over dell's official 345 build :-
added:-
tabmail
quickoffice HD
streaklight
music beta v 3.0 (announced in google I/O -2011)-use in landscape mode to enjoy new UI
MIUI music
launcher pro & dell stage
These apps are added as system apps.
I have done this modification because i had errors streaming videos from facebook app and some other apps while using streakdroid 1.9 but that was not an issue on stock rom, this modified rom has fixed that issue for me, but i love dj_steve and his work without him i would sold my streak long ago.
Bugs:-
- dell stage may give force close error
- if you find any, please tell me
PLEASE FLASH THIS ROM ONLY IF YOU UNDERSTAND IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY. I WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR BRICKED-UNUSABLE DEVICE.
install notes:-
1.) place the update3.zip file on root of your SD card and flash via custom recovery.
2.) please do a nandroid backup before flashing as factory reset is necessary before flashing and it will wipe all of ur data.
3.) for rooting - flash superuser.zip using custom recovery
4.) installation will not erase your custom recovery (no need to flash custom recovery after flashing this ROM)
download rom - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FIXQDCCE
download link 2 - http://www.mediafire.com/file/20ybxk0hdst0amf/update3.zip
here is the new updated version- update3.1.zip
change log:-
added- 1.) Notification Toggle
2.) Netflix
3.) Astro flie manager
removed - stock apps-
1.) Amazon MP3
2.) Car Home
update - update3.1.zip download =>
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QU0L8SVF
Netflix app in update3.1 is not working, here is a fix for that but it needs root access and a free app from market to uninstall system apps e.g. root uninstaller after you have uninstalled netflix from system download attached newer patched version and install normally.
install attached app gingerbreak.apk through astro file manager to root the ROM
DJ_Steve is working a new ROM. Have you shared your fixes with him? Might be a double win for all of us
not yet i hav done this today only , i faced problem in streaming videos like in facebook app many times, did u faced same issues (error - cannot play this video) with streakdroid?
Only MIUI music is present in this rom, once you flash this rom u can check by urself facbook videos playing and this rom has been modified out of stock rom to give access to extra apps that u cant get on official rom, apps like tabmail, quickoffice HD and Music v 3.0 I do accept dell stage is force closing at the moment but choice whether to flashor not this rom is of end user only

It's an issue of expectations. Streakdroid is at such a high level of quality that any ROM that comes out must match that level of quality or the naysayers believe it to be a letdown. Personally, I would like to see more cooks in our playground, and am glad to see someone else putting in the effort, even if it might happen to be only the removal of some apps.
Is there any chance we can get a vanilla version of the ROM ? Just keep all the essential stuff and tweaks but remove extra apps like stageui, tabmail, launchers, swype and any other non required apps.
That would be really good - all the efforts by everyone here are really appreciated - just makes the Streak more viable.
This is a P-Rom to install some CyanogenMod extras and apps on the Atrix. There are two options- one with CyanBread preinstalled, and one with NguyenHuu's Gingerbread theme preinstalled. GingerBlur can be installed with it, because it doesn't wipe the phone, though it is not required.
NOTE: This is not full CyanogenMod. This is a Pseudo-Rom to give you guys the look and feel of CyanogenMod 7.1.0 on Froyo before I release it. This will also allow you to install Gingerbread apps on Froyo.

This is saying the same thing...so when saying "recommended to flash over gingerblur" would this just be themeing over top of gingerblur or would this be replacing the P-Rom gingerblur with this CM7 P-Rom altogether?

The custom ROM version will have to be tailored to each ROM individually

If you guys could upload below system files i could theme each rom. I believe each zip is less than 11mb so you could upload on this post
I would need:
1. /system/Framework/Framework-res.apk
2. /system/app/systemUI.apk
Once i theme them i could upload to OP and ppl could try them out.
Notification Background
Just curious....
Would you guys rather have a cool Animated Image in the background of the notification pull down? or would you rather have just a nice pic.
For sake of argument, lets say it didn't eat up battery any more/less, didn't create any lag, and the animation was smooth.
Give me some feedback.

maybe two versions, with and without? I personally prefer the transparent black shadow effect.
Awesome job, flash was a breeze and the tiny details and tweaks you added speak volumes
