I found it on Amazon and it looks really nice
Have anyone tried this ?

I don't think it'd fit our phones well. our usb port is not centrally located on the phone, so I would think it wouldn't balance correctly and would tip.

It's too bad the Atrix has its USB port on the side. It's inconvenient for docks and car mounts.
After looking at this I got an idea. Seems like what your buying is a plastic half-pipe (so to speak) with a detachable USB cable. If you can find it for cheaper buy two of them. Then glue them together really good so it looks professional. (Hot glue works best but be careful cause it gets messy sometimes.) Then take out the USB from the left one. Voila you have a long USB dock that supports the Atrix.

Anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with vehicle mounts for their samsung galaxy sII i777?
I'm looking for one that will fit with my Case Mate Tough Case on (Excellent case btw, I highly recommend)
From what I can see the samsung mount doesn't work with cases. I'd like one that can at least cleanly route the audio and charging cable to it. But ideally it would have it's own connectors and be permanently plugged into my car. I'd like to just sit down and dock my phone in it and go.
Is there anything out there just like the samsung mount that will work with the case on? This is the samsung mount I'm referring to:

I'm in the same boat as you are. My 3gs had this from Belkin.
http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Tuneba..._1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1321389164&sr=1-2
Looking for a mount that will do the same.
I'm really hoping someone can shed some light on this.
Maybe there are some decent universal ones out there that can be recommended?
Took forever to find it but here's the one I got:
ebay.com/itm/Platinum-MobileDock-Dash-Windshield-Suction-Mount-UUM10BB-Universal-MP3-Player-/140633919502?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item20be6f500e
Been an awesome mount. Bought back in July. For a few weeks it was in my glove box and the pad was not even close to being sticky. Washed it up and it's back to like new sticky.
With the opening between the two rest points on the bottom the power cord fits perfectly.
Stays on the windshield and dashboard with no issues.
And with as small as the support arm is, it moves very little from bumps in the road.

ExoGear Mount
There is another thread on this, but I picked this one up at amazon for $18. Awesome mount, holds any phone. While it doesn't have a connection it will hold any phone anywhere with or without a case.
http://www.exogear.com/products-exomount-car-mount-holder.html
these mounts fit a sgs2 with an otterbox commmuter case on it
http://www.slipgripcarmounts.com/Using-Commuter-Case_c_21890.html
don't know if it will fit the tough case. I haven't used the mount before
I did buy one for my naked captivate and it worked great. I burned through 3 universal car mounts before I got the slip grip for my captivate
I bought a universal one from walmart for $15. Sits on the dashboard and adjust the holder itself to fit the phone. Used the google navi on the phone while traveling from the Jersey shore to Buffalo NY and back and didn't have a single problem.
The device never popped out nor did the actual unit move.
This is the one that I am looking at.
Mounts in the CD slot of your radio... of course if you change out CDs often this may not be the best for you.
I don't change CDs that often so I think it will be ideal.
What you all think?

I believe the at&t version charges at .7 amps or something. My Griffin Technology 1 Amp PowerJolt Dual Micro would be bad for my phone because I was gonna parter it with the ExoGear Universal ExoMount for driving. Would that kill my battery? This looked good till I saw the 2.1 amps. http://www.amazon.com/Potato-Techno...Android/dp/tech-data/B004NQDU5E/ref=de_a_smtd
Check out the mounts by ProClip. They are not cheap but are well made. I have a similar one to this link below that I bought several years ago for my old ipod. I still use it and have since upgraded to the ipod touch. Now will be replacing that with the SG2. Works great. However since mine is older there is quite a bit of space between the back of the holder and the phone. I simply added a piece of the foam insert you typically get when buying a phone case. Works great and now the phone/itouch doesn't tilt back.

It will be fine as that is the Max amperage that the charger can support. The phones hardware charging system limits current.
here's my thread on the hard wired proclip

this particular one will not work with a case, as the phone fits very snug as it is, which works perfect for me.
Looking for recommendations for a case for my gtab with built in keyboard. I think I prefer USB over bluetooth cause I am not sure of the bluetooth capabilities of some of the custom ROMs. I am currently running clems beast ROM. Thoughts anyone?
Hi there. So this is the one I own, and it is GREAT! Matter of fact, me and 4 other people in my research group all use this case with our G-tablet for our lab computers. The case is great, the keyboard works great and its USB so you can easily plug and unplug whenever you wish. The case can even fold completely around to use as a basic tablet. And the kickstand sets up the tablet at a great angle for typing
The only negatives I can tell you if you want to hear them are as follows. I'm not sure if its still a problem, but back in the day when I got my case, one of the 4 metal tabs that held the tablet in place was accidentally placed over the USB port and you had to cut a hole in it to make sure it would fit in. It wasn't a big deal and took a minute to cut a hole out, but I heard it was an accident and why we got ours so cheap and its since been fixed. The only other negative is that the keyboard is like 90% the size of a normal keyboard so you just have to get used to the smaller size.
Overall the pros of this case significantly out weigh the negatives and I recommend this case highly. I actually just bought a G-Tablet for my mother for christmas so she can have a Honeycomb tablet as well, and bought this case for her to.
Here's the link, hope it works out for you: http://www.amazon.com/Viewsonic-G-Tablet-Case-Keyboard-Stand/dp/B004JF9N1O

Have a try www.electroniccrap.com there are many accessories for GTAB
I actually ordered this case, but it sounds like it is a little different than the one you got. None of my ports is blocked. The case and keyboard are sufficient. The tabs do not really keep the tablet in place securely. I was able to get around that by putting velcro on the back of the tab and the the case. Also the usb cord really has no place to go, when not in use. Again i fixed that with some simple velcro. All in all this is a good case for $30.
When i plug in my MicroHDMI cable, it is very loose, so much so that if i don't hold the plug in one direction, it will disconnect and reconnect over and over and over again. I have to push it to make contact. very annoying and very sensitive.
anyone have this problem? maybe it's the cable? I really hate how they designed the plugs onthe curved side of this tablet, and that it had to be a micro hdmi instead of mini
Can someone please try their micro hdmi and tell me if this happens? Also which cable are you using?
Yes I noticed this too. I'm using a rocketfish cable from best buy. I've ordered some adapters from monoprice hopefully those work better

Yes -- thank you very much for asking. This is one of six reasons I sent my TP to RMA department. And it gets worse the more you use the micro HDMI. I used it about 4-5 times over 2 weeks.
I don't know what they can do about it though. But it's just another stupid design flaw. Add it to the list of complaints.
Anyone else noticed this problem? Just wondering if it is the receptacle or the cable. And what could be done with it.
I get my cheap micro HDMI cable in on Thursday and will report in
Mine was loose as well.
I think its prob a normal thing on the TFP because of how its so curved on the edges. Overall the TFP is great although as i keep "testing" this, i keep finding small things that i dont like. Im finding it disappointing considering how pumped i was unrapping it.
Got cheap cable from Amazon and it was loose so I sliced a little off the top edge and it fits and works great now.
I just kinda beveled it a little to match the contour

not a bad idea. i was considering making a similar kind of fitting.
TF201 | XDA Premium
funny, i thought of the same thing two. i had bought at 15' cable (cause what's the point if it's just 6') so i can use it from my couch. the first one was ultra loose. but i got another one that came tonight that is MUCH better, not perfect solid but completely live-with-able. maybe it's just the cable plug. but on either plug i noticed that the plastic end of the plug does not hit the tablet. it seems to bottom out on the connector first. so notsure how beveling my cables would have helped.
anyways... thanks for the comments... makes me want to say, WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST DO MINI-HDMI!
Think the problem with loose cable is the same you can feel with the charger connection and any other stuff you connect to prime
Prime have curved edges. If you look at the cable when it is connected you can see that there isn't any support for the cable on the backside. On the front it looks right but turn the prime over you can see were the problem is.
This can bee notice with the usb-adapter to, that sits really loose because it seems to bee to short. And there isn't any material that support the connection just because Primes curved edges.
Think this is a big failure from Asus. And that they not going to release adapters and cable that are designed for Prime. instead we have to use the same accessories from the first transformer TF101.
got my micro HDMI cable from Amazon today.
It fits all the way in, but does feel "loose", but I get full picture and sound comes out of both my speakers. It doesn't feel loose enough to fall out, and I had a blast playing Shadowgun and GTA 3 on my TV with my Xbox 360 wireless controller
One thing I noticed is that it still displays on both the tablet and the TV at the same time, is there a way to turn off the main display and only display on an external device?
First let me make it clear...
This is strictly a recomendation for fellow Note owners.
I do not have anything to do with sales or anything near..
Wanted to share good stuff for as I really truly find these to be awesome.!
I just received (2) of these from AMAZON. Only $15 bux a pop. Ya Cant Beat It!

Dual USB / AC Plug Desktoop Charger.
Charges via AC while SYNCS USB (leave single or both jacks plugged in)
Bothwork together. Comes w/AC Adapter. Cradle has built in USB cable (so cant lose it!)
Very tiny footprint. Fairly Sturdy. Phone does not tip over.
I actually place one in the ashtray dashboard of my car (wired USB)
Easy feel ... for locking phone on and off of cradle (thats important!!! )
They are the most ALTERNATIVE affordable pricing compared to the OEM desktop chargers which in my opinion are not that good and are about $50 bux or so.
Support Car / Home docking software when phone docked.
Only Con is...BRIGHHHHHTTT blue LED light. Extremely bright.
Had to place a piece of black tape over LED
Thought I would share the 411.
Its hard to find a good alternative these days.....
Thanks for sharing this, just ordered two alongside the OEM Sammy car mount.
Thanks for sharing! Just ordered mine.
How quick does it charge?
Thanks for the tip. Just ordered one that I want to use to make a custom dock that I can fit in my cup holder in my car, as this phone is too big for my cup holders and that's where I like to keep my phone when driving. Was looking for a good/cheap dock, so thanks again for reporting back on the quality of this one. Definitely a nice price. Free shipping with amazon prime too.
how snug fit it is on the back? is there any room for the case? Will it fit if I have a thin case on?
I see that they also have the one with spare battery charger for $2 more. Interesting.
Hmmm you could probably MHL output while also USB host moding a keyboard/ mouse with this. Gonna buy one to give it a shot
Does it fit when i have a TPU case?
Actually the Samsung OEM dock is great. It's $40 at the ATT store. But I paid $20 with my premiere account.
I bought another on ebay as a back up, but haven't received it yet from here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/220923137856?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_3363wt_1270
This does not actually come with the charger does it? \ Igt says can be used with charger that came with note.
Im confused. \/
so sorry for the delayed response! yes this desktop charger comes with one ac adapter in addition to a usb cable that is a cable built into the charger itself.
it allows you to keep the phone plugged into to both pc & ac wall at the same time with out the need to switch cables
it has a overload protection so no fear of charging burnouts.
it is definetely a snug tight fit onto the cradle itself. never worries about falling over or lose connections. i can say it works super super tight . real happy w/purchase.

So I recently picked up some USB cables but, I found they are a little loose. The best cable that I have used is the one that comes with the Nexus 6 and presumable their similar flagships. I'm a big fan of how tightly it plugs into both ends. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick some up (cable only) or a similar option that makes a nice tight connection with the device and type A port because, the aukey ones I bought are a bit loose fitting on both ends.
I love these. The detents on the plug give a satisfying dull thump when I insert it into my phone, and they lock firmly. They look great too. It's a shame they'll be pretty much useless next fall when I move on to my next phone which will most certainly be USB-C.
