You need write new driver. (it's gralloc.delta.so)
UPD:
I will check this ROM to exist in excess files. Write what's not working. I'll try to fix it.

truth is not like writing the new driver (by that I have to leave the rom if someone is encouraged

This is needed for all devices? Because the build for n1, g1, hero, etc was very fast and they dont have problem with the drivers, or they fixit really quick...

Hey, i so much happy to now the are peoples to dev the 4.0 to us!
Thankz and you have all of my support!

Is writing a whole new drive necessary. Would we not be able to port the driver from 2.3 to work with ICS.
i could be wrong, i don't know what has been changed

Xperia x8 in this rom, the screen worked perfectly because the resolution, if we can resolve this problem just this ROM will run on more than 2 sony erricson, we try to compile the gralloc.delta gralloc.msm7k or to work.

Yes, but like the mini pro, still has a lot of work to become the everyday OS. but worth keeping an eye on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347457

that good works almost without any problem in the x8 and display taking is easier to fix bug

Dams, you have started the fire, everyone will follow suit soon. basically after the screen is fixed and things run well.
My encouragement is always with you to keep going without fail.
Regards,
Tim

You are correct. slade87 (with the help of paul-xxx I think - though I don't know for sure) has already begun work on, and is currently porting ICS to our x10 mini Pro as well!! Thank you for also doing your version Hopefully other devs will also start theirs soon and there will be a wide choice of ICS roms for the X10 mini Pro to choose from!

Let us take some Pressure From Racht.

Hello People, I'm Moon And trough my world of android have i gotten lowend devices for own use. i love them because they're so cheap and still Great.
I have come from the GT540 Optimus to the ZTE blade and now the x8,
(I kept the Blade trough.) I am a big fan of Racht and his sense ports, what i want to ask you people for, since Racht seems to have disappeared should we do what developers and friends of him do. We finish what he started.
Most important is currently The GL Drivers I think, Maybe some RAM Management. The free ram is very low. (about 40\50mb) This causes Rosie to reload after coming from other apps. this would be cool to fix.
I asked XDA MEMBER # Kenia1234 (he ported it to the SGS)
About 3d\open gl and wifi. this was his reply.
however as regards 3D I fixed it using my device's libs under system/lib/egl or under /vendor/lib/egl and of course using a CM7 powered kernel...
as regards the wifi, it's a little bit more complicated...you'd need to have the bins of your device under /system/bin and the firmwares all in order, as the kernel wants to...
hope this was useful!!

I think he needs a little rest...
racht said that he will port HTC kernel and that means fully working Sense rom as soon as he's back.
I don't know where he is or what is he doing, but he's on xda often. (last activity today).
And I think he's getting Xperia Ray - his post here. Also that's the last thing he posted.
Anyway, the man will spoke, and we shoud donate to him a new device if he's selling his one. To continue development. But, we need to wait until the man spokes!!
I appreciate racht so much, and I hope he doesn't forget our X8.
OH.

I See, Thanks for Providing this information to the masses.
The Ray is the best Choice after the Arc, For me, Since i like big screens.
But yes. Lets just hope for the best. the Guy i updated on, (On the op) is doing GB sense too. We should let Racht Rest and hope for the best.
In racht's last Sense Port there is a lot of bugs. I really love that rom but it has a lot of bugs.
I was without SIM Card and in the Notification Bar it was showing that i used %S(something like this) tries for the unlock key and blablabla.
SD Safe to remove bug in ROOT Apps
I tried to connect the phone to my car radio and it doesn't show anything in the phone, only the icon changed to charging, but no led, no popup for connecting, nothing. And the radio does not recognized the phone. (i think it will happen the same in the computer, i think)
3d, wifi, 3G and vibra not working, as it shows on the original topic
So this is what has to be worked on
I cannot help you so much because i'm not a good java developer, i can only understand some parts of the code, but i cannot write it. But if you want a beta tester i'm here to try to find the maximum bugs i can
I will love if someone could continue what Racht did
I am following the news.
As I have said some months ago, X8 is now added to official CM tree, you can see here :
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=shakira
So, I guess thats the end of CM story (even that I prefer tweaks by doixanh).
Sense rom depends on kernel features that do not work on .29 kernels.
See HTC threads, all new roms require .32 or .35 kernels, lets hope X8 will get a new kernel ported.
And thanks again for support

Blagus said that we have to port HTC kernel first, but it's .32 or newer kernel. We have only .29 now. Therefore it follows that we can't have sense on X8 now.

[Q] What is the best Custom ROM for Xperia X10 Mini pro

dear all what is the best X10 mini pro in the market where all the features working ?? please advice... thanks
Each rom has its strenghts and weakness. You should try each one and see wich suits you best.
I've tried Paul's ROM's, they're pretty good. Sonystyle and MiniCM7.
Now I'm using slade's GinTonic and I'm pretty satisfied with it.
I will also give Eyama's roms a try (GingerDX annd Flame.E).
Go ahead and test them, I'm pretty sure one will suit your needs.
I hope someday they could all work togheter and make something like "xda oficial rom".
Hi
sorry but I got one question:
Why is everybody askin what the best rom may be?
These roms all got there features (read them in the related threads)
and they all got there advantages and minor bugs.
Everybody has his own meaning about those,
so please go out there and get your own
experience
If you are really interested you should
invest some time to get a feeling for your device and roms.
Peace
And if you really wanna know,
just open on of the thousand other threads sayin "What is the best rom"

I Agree with you, man. But sometimes its hard to know where to begin. I didnt want to install a lot of roms and every time have to install all softwares and reconfigure my phone. Its like formating you computer every week. :/
I just came into this post cos I was waiting somebody had answered his answer. Cos the ROM i installed on my mini pro is not good and wifi is not working properly, now i am trying another rom that seem to be better, but its still beta, it means that ill have some problems (hopefully not) and ill have to at least install the final version.

Are you tryin Flame.E beta ?
If you read the bug section and the features
of the roms you're thinkin they fit with you/your phone
you'll see that there are for now with Gingerbread not that
many bugs and there not as many reboots as before
And installing a new rom isn't that hard
if you workin with your recovery backup
So just read the latest posts in the dev section about the roms
and it'll be fine
Peace
I tried GingerDX, Flame.E (by Eyama), SonyStyle and MiniCM7 Pro ( by Paul). All is great but the best for me is MiniCM7 Pro.

well guys, i asked this question for the same reason diegodacal said!
i wanna get rid of the stock ROM which is too slow and limited! i tried all the ROMs inside XDA related to X10 mini pro the issue is none of those ROMs is complete enough to continue with it. why developers in the X10 MINI Pro section don't combine their work and get one strong and bug free ROM version!
let's take as example of community work LINUX itself! the whole world Community is building Linux and now Linux is one of the most advanced and powerful OS!
i wish i can contribute with all other developers in XDA together united to build a super ROM for each device running Android.
for the moment, the best ROM that i tested it and found it somewhat suitable to my need but not fully functional is the GinTonic SE of Slade87.
To combine all the developer work
would be awesome, but this is left to the developers

well man i'm all the time with the Open Source Programming as i'm also a Software Engineer and i know the benefit of Open Source. To have a strong open source software you need to combine efforts.
i wish the other developers here read this too. combining efforts i mean we all discuss what kernel and baseband we take for development and then start to develop our unified Roms all together around those requirements.
well do you think that MiniCM7 Pro is good enough to try it??
If you won't try, you don't know it ;-)

[Q] Best ROM for girlfriend's X10 Mini Pro

Dear,
First of all, a word of thanks for the countless posts that have helped me before in my search for solving a problem. I have a rooted HTC Desire HD, so these forums always come in handy.
After having bought the X10 Mini Pro for my girlfriend, and she having spent months with it, I have to conclude that the stock rom is simply too heavy for her machine, and constantly resets, etc. Last night I decided to root her phone, and after having successfully done so (thanks for the threads again), I installed GingerDX Pro v17 on her phone. And even though I can see that it runs smoother, it's still nowhere near acceptable.
Of course I made my queries, and searched for a decent answer. And yes, there are countless forums in which this question has been asked before, but they always get multiple answers and none contains the golden ticket answer: which rom runs the smoothest on this phone?
I myself am running Cyanogenmod-7.1.0 on my Desire HD, and it couldn't run any smoother. I know I cannot expect the same from a old X10 Mini Pro, but I'd like her phone to at least run a bit smooth so that she doesn't have to wait countless seconds for apps to open.
Summary:
* Phone: X10 Mini Pro (not the new one)
* Rooted
Question:
* Smoothest rom to run on the phone?
I don't really care about the battery. As long as she is able to get through the day, then that's perfectly fine. The original stock didn't even manage to get through the day.
Thanks in advance, and your invested time is much appreciated.

Does this run smoother than Minicm7? What are the advantages? And could you explain what you just said: so the GinTonic SE ROM and the zombie pack? Is that pack an addition or something?
Thanks in advance!

There is no much difference amongst the 2 ROM..u may refer the thread fo that.. N zombie panik is a custom kernel made by slade87.. We need to unlock boootloader n then add the custom kernel.. But if u not familiar with it do read spiderx thread for instruction or else u may brick ur phone.. U may use gintonic.SE without the custom kernel as wel.. U just need to flash the modules additionally for it.. Read gintonic.se thread ul get an clear idea..
Note: create a backup before flashin.. incase u go wrong.. Coz its u gf's phone.. U wont like it to get it bricked..
Please don't get angry with this, it's not meant to be offensive, but I don't understand why some guys obsession with modding means they take their girlfriend's phone. Many of these guys break them too. I think it's a technology obsession gone too far if modding your own stuff isn't enough - you have to take other people's things too.
What does you girlfriend think? Does she really care? Or does she think it's slow only on your advice?
If you have to, MiniCM and GingerDX are the best around (still supported by devs) in my opinion.
take a look at the clean roms. As the name says, they are very clean, many thing is removed, very smoooth, there are two versions: the clean rom from phonk: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1206625
and the tweaked version from flex96:

Be patient He's done this for the X8 and trying to get it working properly on the X10 which is like the small brother of the X8, I'm sure if that's ok then he will attempt to tackle the X10 mini-pro too, but that needs at least addtional hardware-keyboard support.
Sometimes it is ok to take one step at a time I'm testing it on the x10mini and it is already better than i expected. If you can help in some way, please do.
And, for what it's worth, the x10-minipro is MUCH better supported here than the X10Mini. You have at least four kernels and a ****load of roms to choose from, the X10mini only has stock kernel or nAa, so don't be too jealous if you have to wait a week or so to get this too

[DEV]Ubuntu-touch for all Xperia 2011 devices

Hello,
Developers, I really need help to get the ubuntu-touch port working again!
After the first release of Ubuntu-Touh I tried to port it again to our devices, but I don't get them booting. I only get a black screen. I have updated all sources on github and made the appropriate changes. You can find all relevant sources and information on my new website http://danwin.github.io/ubuntu-touch.html where I have uploaded the non-bootng builds for developers.
I still have the old builds available for those, who want a booting ubuntu-touch, but without any functionality: http://danwin.github.io/ubuntu-touch.html
WoW!!!! Thanks for this. really looking forward to it
You just realised my dreams!
we need screenshots !!!!!
It's aliveeee! Installed, and right now i make some tests. It's very slow for the moment (even on my SanDisk Mobile Ultra Class 10 card UHS1 with 30MB/s speed), but is running on NeoV. I don't find from where i can make some screenshots, the graphics is missed up, the dialer and more apps are not fitting on the screen but, this bugs can be solved with the past of time.

@DanWin1210 You can maybe get some help from some of the FXP team (Binary for example).
I once asked em if they were tempted starting a new project.
They weren't at first, some threw AOKP, others Firefox OS. Then I said Ubuntu and 2 (or 3) of the team said "Ubuntu is kinda interesting".
So, if you can take care of building the ROM, I think they wont mind helping you with little fixes and stuffs.
Just try to get in touch with them.
