Cant support devs anyway as they dont release compatible games (well gameloft mainly)
If version numbers are posted I will link to gameloft wapstore to purchase.
If no version is added or it states anything else , it wont be a compatible game so google them

n also tintin gets force close in chapter 3 with whole roms including stock 360 n 406..

NM. Figured it out. Market version works fine. This game is definitely epic!
you have to rreduce texture and have to disable mapbuffer in chainfire settings

Grand Theft Auto 3 is a bit of a pain. It keeps lagging so bad as to be unplayable. But then it will be smooth as silk just long enough to make me want to play it (again).
In order to get it as playable as possible, I changed the build.prop rendering value to mdp (from gpu) and turned off all screen animations (so no super slow crt off animation) . SetCPU to 1.19 with OnDemand governor and use Airplane mode while playing the game.
Oh yeah, DSC 0.61b
Now you have mdp set install chainfire and tick reduce textures as well.Also I think turn music doen as radio stations increase lag (sound is ok just the music imo)

You can't do this the bright and loyal way ... But some games work.
Here is a hint, first buy a game for your smartphone (assuming you have one).
Then legaly you can use the same apk to install it on your tablet.
In this forum you'll find the list of working versions for a lot of games (search is your friend)
Edit : I'm talking about Gameloft games of course (Dungeon hunter 3.4.6 works flawlessly as an example)
The gameloft games need sdcard location for game data.
When I install the game of gameloft( I download it from MARKET),and want to download the game dat to the location of sdcard.But always show message " need sdcard free space"!
This is why I ask.
From what I read on another forum, the Samsung Gameloft games work. On my 70, I got NFS working after it connected and downloaded 100mg to the sd card. But tried two other games and they didn't work and got the same error you mentioned.
On my Archos 70S, the following Gameloft games work:

But I find the NFS game data location is sdcard/android/data/..
And Gameloft game data location is sdcard/gameloft/....

NFS works well on my Archos.
But Asphalt 5 HD doesn't find my SD card. So, it doesn't start.
Tried Assassin Creed but it is not fullscreen so command like pad are... don't know how to tell : i must tap screen ABOVE the choice, not on the choice itself.

If not difficultly and me,please(I have A70)...
I can't get Hawx, Assasins Creed or Avatar to work on my A43IT
All the others work just fine..
I don't know what the problem is, when I click on install for these three they start installing and then quit with the message Application not installed. And the only thing I can click is close.
I have the latest firmware (2.1.4).
Do I need a hack to run this on the A43IT or is it just my device failing?
All the other games work like crazy...
I hope someone has a fix for this... Really want to play hawx.

Thanks to Chainfire for making an amazing App. All of these games were tested on Touch X Power+ ROM 1.0 with Siyah's Kernel 2.0.
I install Blackstab version for S1 and it works fine on S2 with PVR plugín.
You don't need the Tegra 2 plugin for the Samauri game. There's a version on the Market that runs flawless on GSII
Dungeon Defenders First Wave works for me without any need for Chainfire 3D.

If a new version has compatibility issues, I would recommend finding an older version around the net. You already paid for it, so it isn't piracy.

I installed Gangstar: Miami Vindication on my SGS2 running android 2.3.3. and all 3d objects like houses, people, cars, almost everything were grayscale/ white. Houses were white boxes... Where is the problem? I have seen this for few more games. one I remember was splinter cell which was working but all was white with shadows.
Any news about Gameloft games such as Shadow Guardian,Backstab releasing for the SII?I dont want to root my device for them.waiting for their proper version for the SII

the Widgets list is good BUT we already have a dedicated Gamer's thread that's already in the proper section. plus has actual links to the marketplace for the games listed. it's already extensive and has people that confirm the list of what's working or not. not just listing games period cuz its in the marketplace. If you want to see it just click on the link in my sign.

edit: just checked your list out again..lmfao You have alot up there that's not compatible with Prime. they won't even show up in marketplace for Prime. you list alot of cracked apps or ones that had to have build.prop edited to get to work on Prime..lol.

edit: just checked your list out again..lmfao You have alot up there that's not compatible with Prime. they won't even show up in marketplace for Prime. you list alot of cracked apps or ones that had to have build.prop edited to get to work on Prime..lol.

most of the time ones not listed in marketplace have to be hacked or whatever to get to work. Or if you somehow get a hold of an apk from an Acer500 or Xoom tablet of that game. Since those devices run the same resolution. Plus there is no way for you to link to getting the game because since its for another device, it'll be considered Wares. And its against forum rules to post links to apk that are paid apps for free. that would be what alot of those Gameloft and other games you listed would be.

to the op, I seriously think we need a widget one though. to show ones that work and those optimized for tablets. maybe even a brief description of them. Out of the box. Prime definitely lacks a good amount of choice for Widgets. I'd be interested in that kind of thread as there are people who love Widgets and the functionality they bring without having to open up an app.

lol. no one said you did. I was just sayingkf you were to link some of them that aren't initially supported by Prime in marketplace, then it would be considered that. that's all.
plus no need to close thread. just moved to the right section. plus I'm sure people more than interested in the Widgets portion of it. I know I am. I seen something up there that I'm going tl check out. wouldn't of known about it if I didn't see your list. so THANKS!

Soulcraft THD beta works but a little choppy from time to time compared to my Acer a100 which plays very smoothly. Kinda makes me wonder why I really need a quad core.

Hey guys, as we all know SGY's has no GPU, so it isnt capable of playing HD games like SG Mini.
We also know we can play *some* HD games through the use of chainfire 3d.
I am making this thread so we can all share the HD games we play and what chainfire combinations we use to play them. (Note do not post warez. Just post the titles of the games you play)
I'll start off with a few of my favorites:
Gangstar West Coast Hustle
Reduce Texture Quality + Qualcomm
Nova HD
Reduce Texture Quality + Qualcomm
Brother in Arms 2
Reduce Texture Quality + Qualcomm (Turn the sound off and also add Reduce Texture Size to make the game really smooth)
Avatar HD
Reduce Texture Quality + Reduce Texture Size + PowerVR
Zombie Smash
Reduce Texture Quality + Reduce Texture Size + Qualcomm
Need for Speed Shift
Reduce Texture Quality + Qualcomm (The game will start at a white screen. Just press the power button, wait 3 seconds, and press it again. Unlock the screen and resume the game.)

(Im doing this because there are a lot of sites out there claiming to run some HD games but really arent. For example, I downloaded Legendary Heroes from this certain site, the author claimed that it was "tested" on SGY and was working. I downloaded it and it didnt work despite following all instructions. Also there were a lot of comments that it didnt work for other people using SGY either. He only got my hopes up and wasted my time downloading the files.
On a reply to a comment of one guy, he said it was tested on SGY stock rom 2.3.4 which was shocking considering SGY's release was 2.3.5
In a latter comment he replied that we "skip" it because a lot of games on his site doesnt work on SGY, despite him stating earlier that it was tested on SGY.)
There are a lot of "poser" sites out there so be careful. They might be wasting your time with downloading huge games which wont work on your phone anyways, or worse, which can even include some viruses...

I play fifa 10 hd on my sgy. In chainfire3d, i load the qualcomm plugin and tick the 'reduce texture quality'. I tried assassin's creed too, but its resolution was too big despite ticking the required boxes in chainfire3d.

after u install chainfire 3d nd install the drivers.. after reboot, U'll find Default OpenGL settings... U will find the options there!!

I knew it had a GPU. What I meant to say was it had NO GPU compatible for gaming (unlike mini, fit, ace, etc.)
if you install chainfire 3d with shader and driver, it somehow makes many of unplayable 3D and HD games playable on galaxy Y. i think what the app does is to provide a working script on how the galaxy y GPU handles all the textures and stuff of those games.

how did you play football manager pls pm me links.. pls pls pls
I tried to play Brothers in Arms 2 Free+. Changed ro.product.model to GT-I9000 (else the app says my device is incompatible), installed v1.1.8 of BIA2 and started it. Download of game files worked but when I then start the game, there's only a loading indicator in the middle and after a few seconds the app closes. Anyone knows how to fix it/get it working?
Got a problem in my AC guys. When I click on 'play' from the main menu, the loading page appears and after a while the game force closes. Does anyone know the solution?
