EVO 3d boot screens - HTC EVO 3D

Is anyone aware of a solid method to change out the boot animations within the senselessROM on the EVO 3D with hboot 1.50 unlock HTC method

looks like you can use root explorer and move it to system/customize/resource from the 3 i looked into(senseless 1.0,2.0, 2.9). if your running sensless 2.9 you can just flash it through recovery(if its flashable)or like i said up there^^^^ use root explorer make sure it's named Sprint_bootanimation and move it to system/customize/resource and make sure the permissions are correct (rw-r-r)

Hmm. That last part must be something new to me. Excuse me if it seems like I'm a newb but can you explain (rw-r-r) and permissions. How would I go about making sure the permissions are correct?

To check permissions you use root explore or es file explorer and go to where the file you want to check is then long press on the zip you want to check and scroll down to properties press it and it will bring up a pop up box and it will show the permissions( i'll post a pic later) and if their not right(most need to be rw_r_r) then press change. That will bring up another pop that has 3 rows with 3 boxes

Hmm. I did everything as written and pictured. Made sure the permissions were right. Still didn't work with the boot animation I wanted. I'm not even sure the boot animation i had would work for the EVO 3D knowing it was android piss on apple boot animation for the EVO 4G. I found a flashable beats boot and down animation though that I have flashed successfully from recovery. It will do for now. I just really want an android pissing on apple everytime I turn my phone off and on lol.

I finally accomplished what I was aiming for. I learn something new everyday, especially since I got the EVO 3D about 3 weeks ago with hboot 1.50 preinstalled, that was a bummer. Especially when I got really used to my EVO 4g with s-off. Oh boy how much easier s-off was.
