You cannot turn it back on, go to fastboot mode or cwm? Did you try pulling the battery, wait for a few minutes and try again?
Well I'm not sure what u mean by bricked. I assure u its not. Atleast not hard bricked. Plug it in to charge, let it sit for a few then pull the battery while its still plugged in. Let it sit for like 10 seconds then put the battery back in. Then boot into recovery and go into mounts and storage and the bottom option allows u to mount the SD and internal cards for USB storage. Then plug into a computer and put whatever file u want to flash on yer phone.

Known problem
apparently this issue is present on other phones such as the desire hd and the toshiba thrive, when you partition the sd card in clockwork mod it corrupts the emmc apparently.

So, i was in the final stages of loading a custom rom to the eris, as ive done a hundred times.. finished it, rebooted the phone, edited nam in cdmaws.. rebooted.. now im effed.. the phone will show the three android skaters.. and then vibrate 5 times and turn off and then it just sits there with a black screen and green light flickering at the top, i have to remove the battery to get any response from the phone, hitting the power buttin, and then it just does the same thing.. ive tried master wipe, its successful, but when the phone reboots, i get the same result.
it wont talk with the pc so i cant communicate with it..
and ideas? ive honestly done more eris's than i can count.. well, my quickbooks can count it for me.. but thats irrelevant..lol
its just this one fone im having the issues with.. hard reset is successful in its process.. but no successful in fixing the problem. and i have no other ideas.. i have access to the sdcard and have tried starting over at the PB00IMG.zip point.. and no luck..
you fix my problem - i got a trigger happy donating finger.. (im very generous)
you cant boot into recovery, wipe it, then flash a new rom?
i can boot into recovery and either fastboot - which lets it talk to my pc, or recovery, which is the stock recovery option, and it fails.
i can load the PB00IMG.zip from the sd card..
i wish there was something i could put on the sd card - for the normal stock recovery to recognize and install.. i dont know why i lost my custom recovery it doesnt make sense..

Take the sdcard out of the phone and put it into a usb reader?
Have you tried formatting the sd card? I know in the early days of root some people were having problems with the .zip being read, they formatted and worked with no more issues

omg help this is serious. i tried to do what it tell me to do to install megatron rom. i wipe data partition sd card and wipe data/factory reset. then when i reboot my phone. everything is like normal choose your language and all that stuff and finally press 'use phone' then my screen goes blank. i cant press anything. though the notification bar with wireless 3g wireless and so on are still there but besides that nouthing is pressable. i cant switch off my phone with using power button so i had to remove to battery.
then i switch it on again, then after the lg logo the the android logo, that is when its stuck forever. though i still can access custom recovery. i cant copy my rom to my sd card cause like i said, i cant press anything when the phone boot.
now i cant do anything with my phone it just stuck with the android logo forever. i think theres a way is to install a rom. but i cant find a way to copy my rom from pc to sd card to install it from 'flash zip from sdcard' in custom recovery.
HELP!!!!
Look for the option called "Toggle USB-MS" in the custom recovery menu. This will let you access the sdcard from the computer (like a memory stick) while in the custom recovery. Copy the zip you need to flash, then disconnect the phone and un-toggle the usb-ms connection before flashing.

Hi guys,
I installed viperMOD PrimeTime froma guide on Redmond Pie.
Anyway after doing it im stuck in the CWM-Based Recovery v 5.5.0.4 every time it reboots.
Anyway i try restarting it and holding down the volume buttons to get into the standard recovery mode it isnt even there.. I tried installed the loop fix on a SD card but the CWM does not even pick up the card have tried different ones.
Tried Nvflash but a screen flashes quickly and then goes again..
I can get the device in APX mode what can i do from here? Please i dunno what i did wrong but i followed that guide from Redmond and now its stuffed.
Any help pleaseee
Do you have the prime or the regular TF?
cwm5504 doesn't see the external sdcard, you have to use the internal sdcard- either boot into the rom and copy it over, or use adb and push it to the internal card.
I'm not sure what the loop fix is and why you need the sdcard for it, but did you see this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1530337
nvflash will work, but you need the correct sbk. for the tf101, it's serial numbers below b70. I don't know squat about the tf201.
Ok so i followed Dimondblacks guide and managed to stop it from entering the recovery menu. Now i can get to the 3 symbols page (USB,Android,Wipe) I have tried all 3 and still dosnt boot.
If i let the device boot as normal now it just hangs ont he asus logo screen... Now someone said use recovry menu to flash a rom but no SD card i use will make the recovery pick it up. Is there anyway to access the internal memory and place the update there?
What does fast boot do?
Thankyou for the reply!
Its a transformer prime
How do i push it to the internal sd card? what are the commands. i have tried to follow.. So does that mean i can download the update file and just push it onto the internal memory?
DO i have to put the update on the sd card first then adb it to the internal memory?
Never mind it seems to be bricked with unrecoverable bootloader error
ffs
There is a transformer prime forum, did you try posting there?
Good luck

I cant get CWM or anything else to boot from my sd card anymore! I had CM7 running and used the NT format command to start from scratch and install new things fresh-like, (curious noob move, yes.) upon restart i get the "n" symbol on the screen, then a pic of the box from CWM, and it just hangs. all i get is pic of box. i tried booting cwm from my sdcard and it just wont do it. i also tried the CM7 bootable from sdcard, which also did not boot. i cant get factory restore or adb or anything working. can anyone help me? i learn very fast! Thank you. i am cursed with noob. noob curse. yup.
So what exactly did you do to cause all this? Format your SD card?
Something to try

You might try from powered down state, hold N and power till NT powers on and then off. Place your boot cwm sdcard in slot. Plug power cable into nook then into computer usb. This will auto power on your nook so don't touch anything till after boot. Let the usb connection handle the power on for you.
good luck!
Zang.
Thanks for the reply! another thread seems like it might have the answer for me. "veronica" is planning on creating a video tutorial for my problem. Ill check back if i find progress.
here is the link to that thread i mentioned

I have previously rooted my phone and put a cyanogen 10.1 rom onto it. Last night I did a factory reset on my phone and rebooted, following the reboot it came back on and worked appropriately. I then rebooted again and it got stuck at the HTC splash screen with the green letters and red warning statement at bottom. I tried to reboot into recovery and it did not work. I also pulled the battery and still got stuck. When I connect the phone to my computer via USB it makes a noise saying the computer recognizes a devices was connected however it doesn't show up in my explorer.

I believe through the recovery mode, i did a factory reset to get rid of all my info then then it worked and then I rebooted again and it doesn't work. I can't get past the initial splash screen that says htc quietly brilliant then "this build is for development purposes only...blabla"

Are you sure?
1) Battery pull
2) Hold volume-down + power button simultaneously until phone vibrates, then continue holding volume-down and release power button

Ok...weird, I plugged phone into computer and let it charge back up, while charging I check ADB Devices and it shows my device in Recovery. I was able to get it to the Fastboot screen however from here I can only get to bootloader screen..it will not go to recovery.
Also...when its in fastboot/bootloader my computer cannot communicate with it.

*UPDATE*
(ps. thank you all for offering to help)
I am able to get to hboot and twrp recovery now. I was able to push rom files to it however when i try to install i get an error. It isn't finding my SD Card. I am going to try a new card and see if that works.Apparently I lost my OS so hopefully a new SD Card will work and I can install the rom.
I will update if I have any more issues. Thanks.
I got everything back up and running with the cyanogen 10.1 rom however I am getting an error when trying to use my camera saying there isn't any internal storage on the device. My SDCard is up and working but the phones internal storage isn't being recognized.....thoughts?

Internal storage is not accessible by ROM or recovery
This rarely happens and unfortunately only seems to be remedied by formatting the internal storage:
Restart the phone to recovery and connect the USB cable to a Windows computer
In recovery, use the mount USB feature:
TWRP: Mount > Mount USB Storage
When Windows informs you that it needs to format the drive in order to recognize it, go ahead and format it as FAT32
After the format is complete, use the safe eject feature in Windows followed by unmounting the USB storage in recovery
Your /sdcard partition should now be accessible

I actually saw this on the install page for this rom and tried it. when i mount my sdcard it doesnt prompt me to format however I did it anyway and it still hasn't remedied the situation. I have attempted to start over and do it all again but the same thing happens. i will try again tomorrow and maybe ill have a different result.
