Hello All,
After flashing into whitecookie MIUI 1.10.8 I noticed that i'm having problems with my camera.
When I try to use my barcode scanner program, the screen is scrambled. When i put it in camera mode, it works fine, but I cannot zoom in or zoom out. When I put it in video mode, it seems fine until I press the record button. Once the record button was pressed, the screen turned white. When I stop recording, the screen turn back to normal, but the recorded file cannot be played.
I tried to fix it by going into manage program/ camera/ and clear data, I also turned on the compatibility mode. I then boot in to xrecovery, clear dalvik and fix permission. All these did not help at all.
Please help, any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all very much!
have u stated this problem on the forum from where u downloaded and did u PM the developer who developed this Rom with ur problem ... and in my view there are still some Miui roms which has this problem so better check out before installing and state ur problem to the developer also !!

I downloaded the rom here. A member recommended me the ROM after my post asking for help because of laggy and drop call problems after my upgrade to 2.3.3.

i tried to run camera on android (it just got clicked) and first everything was black(with camera options), then it went green(with camera options), so i thought that its just that android build doesnt support camera right now.
but today i tried to open camera on bada, but it showed "camera failed".
i tried many a times, but everytime its the same! rebooted and then tried camera on bada, but it still is not working!
can anyone help me out?
anyone else faced the problem or its just me???
(i did try to search the problem in forum..but showed no result)

You have XXJK1 am i wrong?
Do you remember flashing *.pfs file while upgrading from XXJID ???
If you think you didn't flash that file then flash it alone and let me know if your Camera is fixed or not

umm..but i dont remember if i flashed the .pfs file or not, but in either case i can flash the .pfs file again right?

i am a newbee here.
my camera doesnt work in all modes. it only works in continuous shooting mode and panorama mode. well it stores a 0byte jpg file for everytime i try to capture a photo in other shooting modes. video recording works perfectly. tried flashing to stock rom two or three times, but wont fix the issue. pls not wen i bought the phone camera works fine. this is happenning after i installed a custom rom(themyth beta2)
for the first time.
i used this quick test menu code "*#7353#" and camera result is camera failed after it bursts flash and the shutter sound..
pls help me.
could it be a hardwre problem, if so can i take it to samsung service centre. it says warranty is till 2013?
Maybe a hardware problem. Try to take it to samsung service centre, but don't tell him that you flashed a rom.

You could try to unroot your phone after taking to the service, just in case
just flash stock rom via odin
i have tried flashing to stock rom with odin twice. but no improvement
videos working means that ur camera is working. try flashing other custom roms and wipe data/cache/dalvik.

Hello. Guy's please help me. Two days ago i enabled cam app ant it showed error, then I enabled it again, and it worked normal... If i reboot phone it hapens again... Im on DonutHD rom without updates, i tried flash via recovery other rom, and in other ROM, it was XPERIA-S port rom, it showed error every time i enabled cam app, its not worked... Then i flashed back to DonutHD, that bug is still her like I said it shows error once, than it normaly works... Sorry for my english, im still learning it Please help, is this hardware or software? Camera 360 captures strange green color at first time, then works perfactly, after camera360 stock works, if i didnt enabled it first. Today i flashed MIUI by cobrato, camera works perfectly, and camera 360 too, no errors and other s**t... Is this issuse with stock rom's or something? Strange. Please HELP!

i have installed after i a factory wipe, and davlink wipe, whit recovery PhilZ Touch 6.0.4.5
after installation of zip file, i have reboot and i reboot in recory for gaaps micro pack from PA
after this all it's ok but in the time i have this problem:
BT = NO WAY but is a know issue
GPS = NO WAY and it isn't a know issue
NOTIFICATION BAR = DISAPPEAR WHEN THE SCREEN GO IN SLEEP AFTER 15 minute.
IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE VIDEO, (CHROME BROWSER,DOLPHIN BROWSER,YOUTUBE APP, MXVIDEO,VIDEOLAN, TUBEDOWNLOADER) NO WAY TO SEE, ONLY HEAR THE SOUND.
This is my experience whit this ROM.

Bluetooth known issue.
GPS I didn't have an issue
Video issues, I didn't check. If you can record videos using the camera. If you cannot, then its a hardware acceleration issue...
Hello sir. I am in a big trauble with my samsung galaxy E120 k. It is rooted and running in cwm recovery. As it is a korian phone there are a few number of custom rom i found but non of them fully stable and 100% bug free. So i am running with stock rom with variety of customization by xposed module. But suddenly yesterday my lockscreen has vaniahed!! Not only this, in addition with this in every boot bluetooth automatically goes on and screen time out seted at 10 minute and most serious peoblem is powwr menu also vanished , holding power button leads to switch off directly instead of appear power menu where reboot, user profile, shutdown are suppose to listed. I can not solve this even after fully wiped data, reset factory setting and restored previously backuped stock rom. Nothing works. I tried every possible way i known. I searched google a huge bt got nothing.
Now plz plz plz anyone help how can i get rid of these problem. It is very urgent coz i im gonna sell this **** after resolve the problem. Plz anyone help me. I will be very very greatful to u. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.
