Storage Full, Move2SD.. - Sony Tablet S

Storage full, how to move apps to sdcars (i am referring to sdcard2, external memory stick)
Sent from my Sony Tablet S using xda premium

Without root, we can't (not in the sense you're talking about)
Is it the actual system that's full or storage? If its storage then move every file you have to the SD card.

My tablet has a devided into two pices internal memory. 500mb for apps and 3,5 gb for internal storage and it recognize it as sdcard. I put my 16gb sdcard and is found like extsd. My question is how can I move programs from sdcard to extsd, is there a program like app2sd or to combine the memory and to became one. Because if I put 3 game like asphalt 6 and it will finish the memory. Thank you.

try link2sd,
i dont know only one thing: where this program move files (apk+cache) cause i dont see them in /sd-ext and app2sd app (i forget about uninstalling it) is showing that app is in internal storage but internal storage free memoory is like it was before moving.
EDIT: after reboot it is in data/sdext2 folder (before in /data folder).

Mixed up SdCard and ExtSdCard

My Galaxy S3 has mixed up my internal and external memory
My internal memory is mounted to the extsdcard and my external microsd is mounted to SDcard. It has ruined all my stuff, lost all my pictures and mixed up everything!
If I take off the external SD, the sdcard copies the extsdcard folder..
What can I do?
Are you using a custom rom - if so with additional addons?

Just found out it was the Internal2ExternalSD mod (from Ultima). (I thought it would be an application that I can use to swap them as needed. I had forgotten that I had checked the box when updating my ROM)
I thought it had something to do with App2sd or EasyUMS
Uninstalling that program solve the problem?

External2internal memory swap hack..

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
I recently applied the external2internal memory swap hack for more internal memory, my question is once the system files have been copied to the newly expanded internal, is the extsd card still required in the device???

you mean the micro sd card?
of course it's needed, it's the internal memory now
Yes but I copied the system files to the external expansion...

Yes, you still require the external SD card in your phone.
The external expansion is your External SD card! (ExtSD.)

[Q] Format internal storage if nothing works no more

Is it possible (if your device doesn't do anything anymore, no download mode no nothing) to format the internal storage?
Does Android generally save pictures on the SD or the phone's memory?
Depends but usually SD by default. Try a giant electromagnet

SD Card, EXTSD, SDCard2, etc.

As quickly as possible, could someone explain to me why this phone has so many different storage locations? What's the difference? What's the difference between phone storage, and internal storage? I hate having to look for some pics that my phone decided to save where-ever on the phone sometimes.

The only place pictures will be saved are on either your internal SD card or the external SD card, depending on where you've selected in the camera app.
/sdcard/ext_sd is the same as /sdcard2. They are just two separate references to the same folder (the root of your external SD card).
I think this confusion is probably one of the reasons they stopped making devices with an SD card slot. That, and the way they partitioned the nand on this device was poor.
Okay, thanks Captain. Two more questions: what is the difference between phone storage and internal storage?
And, what is sdcard0? sdcard?

I honestly don't remember which is which, but one of them is your /data partition, where app data is stored. The other is your internal SD, which is mounted at /storage/sdcard0, and symlinked to /sdcard.
