Damn I ordered mine the first day, it took me four hours of refreshing pages and re entering info because their severs were overloaded and it came the next day. Well it would've been a day if I would've order it early but I sent it at 1am so I got it the following day.

Eh like ive said before, i paid 267 total for it on launch day and I don't regret paying it whatsoever. This phone is totally worth that amount and I get so much use out of it daily!

I got mine almost 2 Weeks ago now for $219 at BestBuy Mobile(they wanted $299 but pricematched)... Unfortunately, with good ol CA tax it came to $280 something...
This phone honestly wasnt as great as i had expected it to be(just need to DEL bloatware & get CM9!)... But it's still better then wthat i had before and better then everything else that's out so i don't regret what i paid either.
On a side note, seems Verizon's pulling that "new" red Incredible 2 from stores to fulfill Web orders. That Inc2 was my fav 3G phone.

while I agree with you 100%, mine was 299 and with cali sales tax it came out to be 371.
Im a full time college student, with 3 kids, AND its coming up on xmass, ~400 bucks back in my pocket is something I just cant pass up

Tax + Wait
California tax is less than it was prior to July 1, when the temporary increase (over 10%) expired.
As for the amazon wait, I welcome it. My DINC bootloops from heat CONSTANTLY, and while it is a horrible existence, I would rather have the heat bootloops on a phone which is eligible for an upgrade, than one that I have to sit with for 2 years.
Maybe if VZW can sell a whole lot of these, a new hardware rev without the issues will come out.
Fingers crossed ... I do not want to 'upgrade' to the Nexus.
