^This kinda makes me think that he is working on CM9 for Ace, because
1. Arm6, duh
2. Well he says it's just a trial thing and he doesn't want to say anything beforehand
I think that phrase should be understood as Kolja did not wish to develop ICS for arm6.
Of course he didn't, he said so in his interview as well.
But that post doesn't seem to say that he isn't trying.
Emoboiix3 is also trying to sync ICS and do stuff for the phone, and having problems, but he hasn't given up yet

Well, I just read around the forums that our ace isn't capable of handling ICS. So what's it gonna be? Is CM7 the last stop for our aces? Ugh. I got so sad after reading that. :'/

Ur rite. We wont b getting officoal ICS. No news of Official cm7 as well. Im sure dat we will b getting a port of ICS in d near future. Our devs r intellegent & even dey r hungry for ICS. Galaxy i9000 & i9003 already started porting. Htc hero, which is ARM6 hv a ICS port. It has d same config as our Ace. It is possible, not IMPOSSIBLE.

I dont know about you guys but these thread tends to be provoking. Questions such as xjestarz's (above) e.g. , using a common sense youll come to conclution that nobody knows if there will be an unofficial release, even if someone is trying to port it there will be no guarantee that it will be release/finished.
edit: Dont get me wrong. I dont mind people speculating if we will get ICS but asking if we will get (unoffical) ICS is a different story, since there is no facts (atm).

Has anyone seen or heard of a Custom Rom for the Galaxy Note i717 that has Tablet Mode Compatibility? Or a mod for tablet mode for this phone? I have searched a ton and all I could find so far was the rom "paranoid android" for the international model Note. That had it and I am JEALOUS!!

I guess it's late because they wanted to fix the ExynosAbuse exploit, possibly along with some other small bugs. Keep in mind that the later it comes, the better it will be. This is especially important since 4.1 is probably the last update we'll get.

I used flip case with no lock screen and finger security for per apps lock.
