I can't wait for my ASUS! I have to have it DAY ONE! i don't want to order it online and then have to wait after release. Is there an online preorder supply as well as a first come first serve supply or something?
I figured i could just drive down to my future shop and preorder it in person and pick it up in person, is that possible?

Best Buy will most likely have them on launch day.. I am pretty sure they had the original Transformer released on launch day as well.. I remember this well because I figured they wouldn't sell out fast.. I was dead wrong and had to wait for months before Best Buy restocked them because they were selling so fast due to the $399.99 pricing for the originals.
Since these are $499.99 starting, they should be a little more available.. But still 32gig for $100 cheaper than iPad2's 32gb model.

thats good to hear, i have to get my quick before i go to china. Do you know if i can preorder at the store?
I'm going to try and get one in-store at Best Buy on launch day then return or cancel my pre-order... If i cannot get it instore then I will have my pre-order to fall back too.
I have not been so nutty about something in a long time! It had better not disappoint
Getting it mainly to use as a gaming device, but after reading that the GPU isnt as good as Ipad2's its giving me some doubt. Any thoughts on this?

Ok. Well, since you've owned several Ipad 2 units, returned them because they did not satisfy your needs, then the next logical step is the Prime. Right? Or did I misunderstand your original question?

Best Buy ships release day. They did it when I pre-ordered the Samsung GT 10.1. Some Portland stores only received the grey 10.1's on actual release day and the white ones didn't arrive til the following week.

Probably the point was:
iOS gaming is generally (IMO) better than Android tablet gaming (just based off of avalible games and quality)
iPad 2 has the strongest mobile GPU, by a long shot.
He didn't even like iPad 2 gaming, why would a TF Prime be better? <--- answering that, I think is what he wanted. I could be wrong, though.

I'm 99.995% certain no brick-and-mortar had the TF101 on launch day, and I highly doubt anybody will have the TF201 on launch day, either. I'd expect B&Ms to get the TF201 some time from mid Jan to mid Feb, depending on how well supply keeps up with demand online.

LOL, im going to just swap it out for my gTab and hope my wife doesnt realize it LOL
I guess the Xoom is a bust because of the lack of SD Card means no recovery partition or custom roms. Plus theres no Honeycomb source yet so no HC roms. Bummer! I guess my gTab will last until the transformer is opened up
Both the Xoom and the Transformer trump the gTab in pretty much every category except price and tinkerability (if that's even a word). So if they were all the same price, I'd go for the Transformer, mainly because of the screen type.
Here's my variation on the original question:
GTablet = $285
Transformer = $500
Xoom = $600
transformer. Getting tha cash and waiting for the relase in us.

this should put things in perspective.
Yeah I'd like one of the newer honeycomb tablets but not for close to 2x the cost.
If the Transformer is locked down it loses a lot of it's luster too.
The gTab is a good device that gets better when you realize how flexible it is. I am willing to bet that if Google officially released the source for Honeycomb we'd be running it already, even if it's 1/2 the price of similar tablets. (this is probably one of the reasons why Google isn't releasing the source for Honeycomb)
Nah, not paying $500 for the Transformer. $400 is tempting if tax isn't involved.
What's funny is, a week ago I would've, and was going to, pay $600 for a wifi Xoom.

I have yet read a preview that went in that sort of detail, most of the previews have been pretty high level.. ie: it has a screen! that works with touches! and it's a tablet! etc etc
I hope it's not locked down because I've always been an Asus fan and the price looks reasonable
xoom
I would go with a xoom if they were the same price. partly for the screen, but also for honeycomb. In 6-12 months there will be a lot more apps for it and will be the norm. IMO.
I'd have to go with the transformer easy..
The screen, two usb ports, sd card, doesnt it even have a card reader?
That along with the keyboard attachment, which increases battery to up to 16 hours.
All that, and it shouldn't be locked down like the moto.
The Asus Transformer is $400, not $500. And the dock is only $150 adds another 9 hours or so of battery life.

Well I'm just a little speculative about some of the specs
For example they say 1080p video playback but the screen is not 1080p...
They do not tell you the clockrate
Does it have nfc?
An unlocked bootloader?
Should I preorder or wait for reviews?
Thanks

what on earth would you want NFC on a tablet for? I already consider it inherently dangerous for phones to have it because you can bet some people will be stupid with their security on that.
ok so what is your recomendation for him? pre order or wait?

Okay I will and I found answers but they are still contradicting

Newegg also lists the clock rate of 1.3ghz

I am waiting...if they can't root it at least, not getting it. Boot loader will remain a issue also. To me, a tablet I can't root is nearly worthless, also, I bought the first batch of the transformer..big mistakes...quality build speaking...I should of waited a few more weeks. Asus lists the rear camera as 8MP multiple times on their website - asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_Prime_TF201
I haven't seen the clockrate listed but there are demos out there demonstrating how it smokes the Tegra 2 in applications that require the horsepower.
And I would agree - pre order or expect to wait. Of course without an official availability date yet we're all waiting...
Rob
And let's not forget that it'll come with SuperNote. Although it would be great to see a SuperNote Windows app to pair it with...
ahhh, to buy or not to buy. I already know that I'll be reading about what a great tablet it is and it'll make me crazy. I know I'll want one and be pissed that I waited if they sell out or are hard to get. So, that's why I ordred one from Amazon.ca and will hopefully have it for Christmas.
Hopefully....
Buy it in 10 years and it will be super cheap... LOL
Serious: I sort of regret buying the TF101 early as mine had some slight build quality issues. However, I trust Asus has great Q/A now. The Tegra 3 will be clocked at 1.4Ghz and it can be overclocked.
The TF201 is hell of a lot more than the TF101.
Does it have stereo speaker?
If we could pre-order it here in the UK, then I would be pre-ordering it - its gonna be a beast!!

I for one regret not getting on the first wave of pre-orders from Amazon.com for $492.
Just changed mine to Newegg.com w/overnight shipping. Now just gotta wait for a release date!
I ordered from newegg with 12 months no interest!!
I should probably get it on Monday of that week unless newegg will ship it on the morning of the 8th and from their NJ warehouse!
I then will need to head to the mall and get the thing ghost armored (hopefully they have the kit for Atleast the screen!)

And to stay on topic with the thread, I am pre-ordering from an online site that is out of state so I don't pay tax (save a little money = less guilt). I just sold my TF101 on eBay for $450 as well. After the hardship of finding the TF101, pre-order seems smart this time around.
know that Asus haven't set a date for release, But need some help to choose store to preorder from.
Here in Sweden the stores often sets a early date so that costumers placed a order in just there store.. And then the store can change the date several times and you feel ****ed.
What store in USA are the best when it comes to get hold on new products like Prime and that can be trusted when it comes to shipping dates?
Best Buy, newsegg, Tiger Direct, B&H??
So what store use to stick to there word and can be trusted?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda premium
Personally, I go in this order:
Amazon (I'm prime member) > NewEgg > B&H/BestBuy > TigerDirect/Gamestop
Amazon sometimes delays things a bit, but the customer service and return policy outweigh a lot.
NewEgg is usually a safe bet all around (I miss old NewEggs shipping, though)
B&H/BestBuy - B&H has given me a few minor problems in the past, but nothing too bad. BestBuy is of course a huge retail chain, so dealing with returns/information/etc is sometimes frustrating (the "when you know more than the rep" syndrome)
TigreDirect/GameStop - I would avoid these, as there are better alternatives.
It seems like amazon is out of pre orders and new egg doesn't seem to have the 64gb.
I might order from B&H but if it gets delayed by a week or so it might take a while for them to ship it. I know they close early on Fridays don't work on Saturdays and Hanukkah is coming up which means they will be closed for at least the first day of the holiday.
Stupidity? Good Marketing? Lack of supply? WHY!?! X-mas is around the corner!
also, when do you think it will be released.. or at least when will they announce the release date?
1. Lack of supply
2. Mid january for us, end of february for europe (my guess)
Go back and look at the situation (posts) surrounding the release of the original TF. It is actually good marketing. People are looking to buy tablets for the holidays, the Prime is not ready for prime time ( pun intended) but you don't want potential customers to buy something else or they will not buy your Prime when it is ready. What to do. Announce it without a firm ship date in hopes of keeping as many potential customers as possible from buying a competitors model in hopes of a timely release. It's working as many people have one or more pre-orders and are anxiously waiting and hoping.
*crickets*
Most GameStop preorders date the release for in store pick ups Dec. 19th. I'm pretty confident in it as people all over the u.s. Here, that preordered from GameStop, was given the same date. Some stores actually have them in stock now and building up the supply numbers for preorders. All stock will go to preorders first, then any left will go to people who walk in. All supplies after that will be for walk ins.
They better have my ish on the 19th
I think Asus has mastered the manufactured supply shortage rollout strategy to create buzz for their product before it hits the shelf.

Wouldn't they have made much much MORE money, if they released it in quantity mid-November with ICS. All the glowing reviews and availability would make it THE tablet of the 2011 Holiday Season. By missing the boat on Christmas they are crippling the potential sales on this device. By the time they have stock and it's readily available, news of other quad-core tablets and the iPad 3 will be coming out and stealing their buzz. I think ASUS really missed out on a cash cow this holiday season.

Yes, this. All the theories about how ASUS is trying to game the system are really quite ridiculous. Just like there aren't evil masterminds putting death-ray satellites in space and extorting the world's governments, companies like ASUS don't really sit around thinking up highly unlikely scenarios by which they can manipulate people using dubious and highly unreliable tactics.
Not only is everything said above true about the holiday season, but ASUS _must_ know the value in being the first Tegra 3 tablet on the market and the imminence of some pretty stiff competition. If they had Primes for us to buy, they'd sell them to us.

Well, not really. Apple has built their launches with exclusivity, you never see new iPad or iPhone in all the stores at once. There are barely few who have the items for sale and unless you preorder very early, getting it is quite tough during release.
Now Asus is not Apple. They cannot manufacture at the same speed and they have a large number of product lines. Their 'future' is not all put behind Transformer Prime, it is not an 'event' the way iPhone or iPad is an event for Apple. It's a tablet market furiously dominated by iPads and they come there with an Android tablet. Going all out with a Prime is just stupid.
Now, we see it only from the perspective of people who will definitely buy it. Most of us have pre-orders up somewhere. Of course it is very important for us. But for tech world, tablet world and for Asus, this is just another device. This doesn't revolutionize tablets any more than the original Transformer did and as a complete device is not really above iPad 2, so it is not as important as we try to make it sound.
Let's just chill.

At this price point, not everyone can afford to give it as a gift for Christmas. But the better potential buyer might be those who received lets say $100-200 dollars in cash for Christmas and are willing to spend the difference out of their own pocket. I would assuming anything priced over 300 dollars aren't given out as gifts very often.
So those willing to buy it, may be those who are shopping after Christmas with their extra pocket cash and not those giving it as gifts.
I would guess sales of the Kindle Fire will explode as a gift for Christmas for its price point, which most tablets don't fall into.
An example would be when the Xbox360 vs PS3 initial sales for the holidays. When they first came out the Xbox360 was much more attractive as a gift because of its price point.
Asus may not feel it is necessary to make the Holiday season before Christmas, and hitting shelves by early Jan might not cripple sales, but instead promotes hype.
Pfft...If I don't get it before January I'm not buying one....until after January.
Ok, I keep hearing around here that the TF201 is NOT being discontinued. And it seems reasonable that it would stick around. However, at my company, we had ordered 1 for the CFO and he really likes his and they are talking about ordering 6 more for other managers. The lady that does ordering called our vendor and they are saying that they talked to Asus directly and the TF201 is discontinued now. They said we would have to wait for the TF300.
Has there been any OFFICIAL announcement from Asus either way on this?

I believe ASUS posted on their facebook page that the TF201 was not being discontinued and this was just a rumor. However this has been a couple months ago now so things may have changed. I also believe Gary Key stated a while back on the forums that the discontinued talk was merely a rumor.
As of March they are still manufacturing the TF201 as we have seen C3 serials show up in stores. It will be another week or two before we see C4 serials. If we don't start to see C4 serials after a couple of weeks then this would most likely indicate that it is being discontinued.
However, I strongly believe that ASUS is not and will not be discontinuing the TF201 any time soon. This is just speculation. And to answer your question as far as whether or not ASUS has provided an official statement, they have but it has been a couple of months since they did so.

It is definitely discontinued and has been for several months, and this is evidenced by the VP of marketing on this site saying that it hasn't been discontinued. There are too many problems evidently (1% of all primes have issues).

Look at his more recent updates in the op of that thread and you will see. Tell your boss he needs to find another retailer selling it..lol. there are still new people popping in xda everyday with new primes. Plus there's already C3 models out now. Soon we will see C4 ones.
Plus Prime is still heavily advertised on official Asus website. If it were to be discontinued, they would've quickly and easily of removed that info from website. People overreacting..lol.

Actually the tf-700 might not release in the u.s. at all. Plus now they are saying it won't be released anywhere until end of year more than likely. Check out the other thread where someone posted an email from Asus on the infinity pad.
Plus if it were discontinued, we would constantly see new model serial numbers pop up. Don't believe all the negative discontinued hype.

Not this rumor again..lmao. Prime is not being discontinued. PERIOD. End of story. The Asus representative, Gary, even said in his Unofficial thread here just recently that it wasn't going to be discontinued. They still sell it online and at Gamestop, Best Buy, and other brick n mortar stores.

Yeah I hear you... however, best buy apparently is no longer carrying it. They don't ship it online, and no Best buy within a 200 miles radius of me has it in stock. That includes most of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis/St. Paul area... I think that if they were still actively in production don't you think that somebody would have them in stock? This all seems a little fishy to me... I even looked at bigger cities for Best Buy stock and nothing in Chicago or California area either... The only reason I got mine was because it was a open box that I got at my local Best Buy about a month ago. And mine is one of the older S/Ns, BCOKAS.
Just an observation...

That's a good observation. I think its more of Asus retooling or adding new components to newer/future primes to eliminate possible issues. We have seen other similar letters like in op stating that. Plus prime can still be found online and at Gamestop. I know the one in my area has them in stock because I called the other day looking for a dock. They said they had no docks ATM, that they only had the tablet itself in stock at that store. Plus there are alot more places than best buy online that would have it. Still doesn't explain the flood of new owners showing up in prime forum everyday. Still doesn't explain why Asus still advertises it on their official u.s. and global website. Which is always updated with new info on products they carry.
I don't feed into the negative stuff as it tends to come more from past complainers and trolls. They love to stir up stuff in prime forum for others. Looking at everything in a negative way and put some crazy spin on things.
I had my Prime since 12/22. An early BCOKA model and works great. Haven't had any real problems with it. Wifi works great on it as I compared it to my Ipad wifi and atrix wifi. Prime is right on par or better than my other units.
It is not being discontinued but im sure if it weren't for the Prime owners complaining, they would've discontinued it. There are clear wifi/gps problems with the Prime due to the aluminum back (hence why their new line has a rubber/plastic strip). There is no reason for ASUS to have so many lines of products with such little differences.
And I'm gonna make a bold guess here, but I think they would much rather replace the Prime with the TF700 and make it $500 instead of $600. The reason they are making it $600 is so that it will seem like a "premium" Prime instead of a Prime replacement. Placing the TF700 at $600 would mean that it surpasses the price of the iPad that has a even higher res display and LTE. And frankly, the general consumer is unlikely to buy a Android tab that is as expensive as the iPad let alone more expensive.

I second that. I believe tf700 will completely replace TF201.

i want to see the tf300 already! didn't it already go through the fcc?
My honest opinion is..
Why when the new models come out would they carry on making a Tablet that even Asus admits is flawed due to all Aluminium back.
Think Logically if the new models were available now & after reviewing options, would you purchase the TF201 ?
I do not think when new models are released there will be very little, if any demand for the Prime, so the Prime really is living on borrowed time.
As for Demandarins statement

Surely you are not that naive, Asus would not admit to prime being discontinued untill it has replacement in shops, they want to keep selling primes untill replacement is in shops. Admitting it was discontinued now would greatly affect Sales.
Within 2 or 3 months of the TF300/700 being released the Prime will meet a quiet quick demise.
PS
I own a prime & dock which I am quite happy with apart from useless GPS

Just your area. Prime is still available from Best Buy, not online, you just have to search local stores for inventory. Several around me are in stock atm.

I would easily purchase the prime over those 2. here's why. I don't want a lower spec 300 model. its less powerful, less battery life, display not as good. its regular ips, not ips+ like on prime. plus FCC report already shows 300 wireless performance can't be expected to be better than prime. especially with wifi/BT used at the same time. I don't want a tf-700 model because it will cost more. has less battery life than prime. plus, according to an email posted by another member is from Asus VP of technical whatever states no plans for u.s. release of infinity pad and it won't be released anywhere till the end of the year likely. check it out. so I have no reason to wait. fully satisfied with my prime.
we are still seeing new serial number Models pop up. we had Asus publicly and on this forum stating Prime will not be discontinued. AND YES, ASUS ADMITTED TO LESS THAN 1% OF UNITS HAVING ISSUES AND BEING RETURNED. It was stated on Cnet interview, which they said makes sense, and Gary explained it on this site. So no real concrete proof pointing to them discontinuing it. Come with some better info to back up the claim and then maybe me n others might believe it also. till then, just speculation and false rumors just like the other stuff floating around.
all their tablets now fit a particular price range including the prime. so I would easily take it over the others. its the thinnest and lightest. plus performs great all around. Plus Asus wouldn't happen to be working on a big announcement concerning prime if it were to be discontinued. they wouldn't even have bothered spending the money or research behind a fix to a product to be discontinued. they would just focus on future products instead and let prime die off.
better luck next time. Prime will live on. We will continue to knock all these false rumors down one by one..lmao
@demandarin
We will have to wait and see who is right
For me the I'm in the Prime is on its Way Out Camp. My guess is TF700 will come out costing $100 more & within very short time primes funeral & TF700's price will drop to what prime is now to compete with that fruity competitor.

You have my $5 on that.
Dem, if you look at it, there is definitely no place for TF201 in the pad line up. 3 of them overlap each other too much.

I do agree, the devices are spec similar. BUT at least its more of a major difference compared to Samsung lineup of tablets. they have all different lineup and spec similar. except for one thing, all their stuff is highly overpriced. at least Asus has a more reasonable priceline.
I can see prime ending around next winter or so. but by then that's the natural cycle of tablets ending anyways. Tf-700 has already been stated to not release till the end of the year. check the letter from Asus VP of something thread. so that gives prime plenty of time to still sell. by the time tf-700 finally comes out, it'll be the natural ending cycle for prime anyways. that's how technology is.
with the specs of the prime, it still has a place that fits in the lineup. regardless what some may believe. then you have the Asus built Google nexus tegra3 7in. tablet said to come out. ill say prime won't be discontinued anytime soon. for any product, there always come a time down the road when its discontinued. Wait till the announcement is released then tell me again does it make sense that they will discontinue the prime.
lets say they do discontinue it soon, so what..lol. it won't stop my Prime from functioning or performing great. it won't stop the major developement we already have for it. it still won't stop up getting updates, at least for a good while. So prime owners good either way. they already discontinuing the tf-101 less than a year from being released. to have it replaced by 300 model. tf-101 model just got ICS so it's still receiving support. Discontinued or not, Asus supports their products down the road. So I'm not worried anyways. I already plan on keeping my prime till Tegra4 releases at the end of the year. So once people finally able to buy infinity pad, Asus will announce the new Tegra4 powered Transformer pad..lmao. tegra4 is worth the wait if you already own a prime, IMO. nothing else announced to come out really grabs my interest. except to tegra3 powered Google nexus tablet built by Asus. that'll be so cheap ill get one anyways. most other new tablets coming out for android will be tegra3 powered anyways. there's like over 12 tablets announced and set to release eventually that will be tegra3 powered. they all are listed in another thread.
So ill take that bet also. if I lose, ill gladly admit I was wrong. but people make it seem like this will happen in the next month or something...lol. prime will be discontinued on its natural cycle ending date for tablets.

last i heard they were debating on tegra 3 vs something else for the nexus tablet. something changed?
also kindle fire 2 will be coming out around the end of the year with tegra 3. i guess we'll see how the battery life measures up. but if you are in the market at present for something with good battery life..the acer iconia a510 contains a 13 hr video playback battery life according to its specs.

hold up..First thing is first..lmfao. where in da world did you hear kindle fire2 will have tegra3 also? I've never seen any hint of that. could be possible but very shocking. I doubt they will use that chip as its out of their league..lol.
To your first statement, they were debating ln it at first. now this is all according to tech sites rumors and speculations. at first it was said to have tegra3. then we heard to cut down on price they were going to use a lesser spec chip. then just recently, all reports show them going back with tegra3 and they will city costs elsewhere, which I think is good idea. Google nexus tablet needs to be powerful and low priced. this is to look more enticing than kindle fire or nook. so the latest spec on nexus tablet is that it will be made by Asus and still will use tegra3.
I heard about that Acer battery life. we will have to see what the real battery life performance will be once it releases. Prime + Dock still has best battery life of all. 18+ hrs. estimated battery life combined. plenty of people came in this forum and said if you think Asus has problems, Acer is alot worse. it'll be like going from jumping into a small fire to jumping into a volcano..lol. so I'm very skeptical on Acer products based on what other Acer owners that passed through here have said.

if it was before prime was ever announced or released. sure. its cheaper priced. but I have no regrets on my prime purchase at all. it has performed to well for me. I wouldn't downgrade or get rid of my prime to get a lower spec 300. I do love the new colors though. I think the whole Asus line of tablets will be good. it will just depend on how much you can afford or willing tl spend. not everyone wants to dish out $500-700 for a prime or infinity pad. only reason I spent this much on a prime because I bought it as a Christmas gift to myself. plus I know its more than powerful enough that I won't need another tablet for a long time. Tegra4 powered Asus tablet is what I'm waiting for next. till then, prime does everything I ask of it just fine. This really is a great tablet. I never use my Ipad anymore. Prime is soo sexy Sleek n lightweight. lol
Just a heads up:
Staples is no longer carrying the Transformer Prime in store.
If you search on Staples.com it shows them as a low stock clearance item.
Best Buy is also out of stock at almost every store around me. It makes me feel like the Transformer Prime is no more.
I was hoping to get another Transformer Prime if they ever fixed the Bluetooth issue with the Wi-Fi dropout while streaming audio. Did that problem get fixed? The one Best Buy near me has some C30 serial number Primes should I go get one? I would love to have one if the issues were fixed.
Bored...anything else?
In poland Prime is able to buy in all big internet stores and media markt, saturn etc.
Please close this thread. If any store is no longer carrying prime I should make a new thread...lol?

Noticed Ncix is listing fewer editions of the Prime. I think its only a matter of time it becomes a blip in history.
The TF201 not being available is a good thing for customers. I'm surprised there isn't a class action lawsuit for this product already.
Avoid ASUS at all cost. I spent nearly $1,000 on 2 of these crappy tablets. Never again.
yay its the weekly "prime's gonna be discontinued" thread. I was wondering when it would turn up!
Its like when a good old friend comes back to you and gives you a warm sweaty hug. You want to just push it away from you and get a looong shower but then what would we do without him? He keeps telling you there will be rain but the sky is just perfectly clear... Where does he come from? And why does he keep coming back!?
hm i think i got carried away a bit with that analogy
I got a huge b and have catalog today and in the tablet section they pretty much had every tablet out.. Even the TF 300 and the galaxy note 10.1 but no sign of the prime... Hmm

I am not trying to start an issue, I am just stating facts. I work at Staples and you can check the website and click on find in store if you don't believe me.
I feel like if you can't find a Prime in almost any store because the stores are not carrying them anymore then that means something!
Why do people get so upset when someone tells them it looks like the Prime is going away? Is it that you don't want the tablet you bought to be discontinued? Deal with it, if you like the tablet then good for you, if it's discontinued are you going to like it less?
I hate to fuel the fire but have we seen any C40 serials yet?
There's another side to stores carrying or not carrying the Prime. Just because a manufacturer offers a product doesn't mean that every reseller will sell it. They'll stock (B&M) and offer (online) what sells and/or feature the products from the manufacturers that offer the best volume incentives and marketing support cash. Why do you think so many resellers stock and feature Samsung tablets? Because their incented to do so (carrots and sticks). Think of the volume of Samsung products BB and Costco sell when you factor in appliances, TV's, audio, and laptops. Asus can’t offer BB and Costco a 2% invoice discount on TV’s for pushing the Prime whereas Samsung can. Buyers for resellers use their calculators when determining what to stock and aren't awed by shiny aluminum back covers.

Nope, not that I know of.. or of any comments I have read. I brought this up in another thread....
Btw, Prime will not be discontinued because Asus will not publicly & officially come out with a statement that it'll get discontinued. You will just stop seeing them in stores, or will be "difficult" to purchase/find as time goes on (although, this has been the case since launch...).
I did notice the MTR review of the Pad 300 being a c4 serial.... Why would they Pad 300 start their serial C4 if the last prime we saw had a C3?? Makes me question the prime even more.
Try to think of it this way how often have you seen a car company simultaneously manufacture the current model year and last years model ? Right now is the "year end sale" phase of the prime life cycle. They will more than likely introduce the infinity within the comming months. Once its on sale is is highly unlikely sales from the prime would cover the cost making the prime at that point due to it basically being made obsolete by the infinity.
