[Q] GALAXY TASK 6.3 ANDROID WIFI ONLY Issues - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have rooted my tab 10.1 then installed full 6.2 task, and then update for 6.3
After unlocking the first screen I get the error message
The application Exchange Services (process com.google.android.exchange) has stopped unexpectedly.
So force close.
When I start the browser I get the error message The application Browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped and then force close
Browser is the only thing that I can see having problems. Firefox runs fine.

Clearing the Browser and Email data fixed the error messages.

Anyone notice sensor mis-calibration issues? I'm Running Task's 6.3 and have noticed the horizontal calibration is wacked, always off by about 17 degrees. Yes, I've placed my 10.1 flat on the table and used the menu for 'Horizontal calibration' - the little dot moves to the center but then it's still off on the vertical axis by ~17degrees and maybe 21degrees on horizontal access. Maybe the axises are reversed or something??? Any ideas how to fix?
I'd like to be able to use some astronomy software but the horizon is always off-level.
Galaxy p7500: installed 6.0 after full wipe then flashed update to 6.1 and then a few days later flashed to update 6.3

p.s. sensor calibration has been fine in stock, in Paris and Overcome roms... probably not my tab's hardware I would think.

[Q] My Galaxy 10.1 WiFi crashes every day. Is this normal?

I thoroughly enjoy my Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's just not reliable.
Every now and again I'll awake my tablet from sleeping, only to find out it can't launch any process without crashing. Even the application error report system crashes.
Repro steps:
1) Open any application
2) See an application error report dialog
3) Tap the Report button
4) Tap the Send button on the report
See the error: "Could not save error report. no space left on device" (Settings->Storage confirms 26.59 GB free)
The only resolution is to restart the device until the whole thing happens again. It usually occurs once a day.
Model: GT-P7510MA (Galaxy Tab 10.1, 32 GB, WiFi)
Device is 100% stock. 1.4 GB of storage used for applications and ebooks.
All of my applications are from the Android Marketplace.
Running Services: Settings, Skype, Factory Test, Software update, SecPhone, Maps, Email, Android Keyboard
Sorry for the shaky video. You can see that I power it up, click on the browser and google talk, only to get crashes galore.

Is anyone else having this problem?
Supplemental Info
I initially turned on disk encryption to keep my data safe.
After seeing the disk error from the Application Error Report dialog, I thought it might be a bug in encryption, so I performed a factory data reset and kept it standard.
I have had the 32gb wifi for over a week. Nothing like this. VERY sorry to hear. If you factory reset, just let it operate with defaults. Hold off on market apps that affect controls, performance, or substitute for existing core functions.
That way you can isolate if ot was a setting or app. If you're with in your return period I would for sure swap the unit. This is an isolated issue with this single unit would be my guess.

Called Samsung Support
Samsung Support wouldn't issue an RMA without having me going through and systematically installing each app, one at a time, and observing if the crashing occurs. A very logical request, but utterly annoying for me. Since the crashing is completely random, there is no way to definitely pinpoint the software issue without attaching a debugger (right?). I wish I could return this thing. There is not enough time in the day for this.
The support agent believes this is the behavior of a malicious software application and NOT defective hardware.
Are you beyond you return period from where you bought it?

i get the same thing everyday but when i hit send it says message sent
My tablet is beyond the return period, so I am relying on Samsung Support for an RMA.
I did another factory reset and used my old Google account that contained all of my previous apps. The TouchWiz update was applied as soon as it became available.
It's been 48 hours and no crashes. Maybe it was an OS bug that was patched during the update.
I've also ran Norton mobile anti-malware and a couple of other free scanners. Nothing malicious has turned up.

[Q] Unfortunately, setting has stopped

Hi all gurus, need your helps.
I have just upgraded to 4.1.1 via Kies, XXDLJ1, on I9300.
Whenever I go to Applications Manager, it will has that error or auto exit.
1. I have tried wipe, it is fine, no more issue.
2. I restored all apps from titanium, it comes back
3. I uninstall apps by batch, it turns ok after some number of apps uninstalled. it is not related to particular apps but apps count matter as i tried install n uninstall a different batch of apps, same observation.
4. It always error or exit after i am in the application manager for a few seconds, it seem failed to get apps size successfully counted.
5. I have about 200 apps
Pls help, very frustrated and i tried google for long time but no obvious solution
any tips please?
Same thing with me on Samsung GT-I9300 with Android 4.1.1
I came across this problem 2 times.
The first time it happened when I installed a game "Waking Mars". The game was working fine, I played for around 20 minutes and then wanted to check free storage left after installing. But when I opened Application manager swiping was very laggy and after a few (5-10) secs it crashed with "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" error or just closed. At that time I didn't know that it was because of "Waking Mars" and started to delete unnecessery applications I installed that day and yesterday, but problem vanished only after uninstalling "Waking Mars". Also, while this app was installed, phone's screen was glitchy and became bleached (the glitch disappeared after rebooting), like when "Natural" screen mode is activated, but it wasn't. When I had tried to install the game again, the problem came back.
The second time it was because of "Galaxy On Fire 2" installed. Same problems appeared: crashing Application manager and glitchy screen.
So I'm pretty sure the problem is because of some exact application, not because of the number of apps installed.
Both games contained their data in ".apk" file, but another Waking Mars version with separate data (cache) caused the same problem too.
By the way, funny thing is that both games are about space
P.S.: Sorry for my English, it isn't my native language.
hi casper1, did you solve the problem? how? same problem here and still persisting, after many many attempts

[Q] S3 No longer shows force close when an APP crashes

Hi All,
I have 2x Galaxy S3's, a work one and my own one, my personal one is rooted (to allow titanium backup to do it's thing), it also has ClockworkMod running on it. It's got the stock rom still.
I'm an android developer day to do, and now when developing my app, if I'm using my work phone and it crashes on the phone it says Your App has crashed, click okay to force close.
However, on my rooted phone it doesn't do that, it just crashes and I have to restart the phone just stays with the notification top bar still there and working (clock changes and can see wifi sending/receiving) . But i can't close the app, can't use the home button etc
Does anyone know the solution to this? It's quite infuriating at times.
youtube link + ?v=3mawem-refw here's a video of it happening

google maps starting automatically when unlocking screen

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2 running Android 6.0. Recently I noticed that whenever I come out of the lock screen, after the device has been left alone for a few minutes, that google maps has launched. I am not sure how to figure out what other app might be calling maps, as I doubt if it is launching itself. Is there a way of determining what app is calling maps, or if it is in fact launching itself. I don't remember making any changes to the system settings or downloading anything that would call the app. This is very annoying having to close out of maps each time I come out of the lock screen.
Same thing happening on my Note 3. Perhaps a bug in the latest update?

'unfortunately inmobi 5_2_1 has stopped' popup

hello i hv lenovo phab pb1-750m phone wich i hv recently soft rooted with kingo root app. i hv changed my android id with device id changer app and then uninstalled it without writing down my original id. Now m getting " unfortunately, inmobi 5_2_1 has stopped " popup now and then though all the services are working fine. so m just curious is it a signal for some big trouble in future or i can ignore it.
I have the same problem on Android 5.1.1, Galaxy Note 3 N9005. Started happening suddenly, and it pops up once every 30 seconds or so, I can't work or do anything because the currently opened app gets interrupted by this pop-up.
Later edit: Literally 2 minutes after posting this I installed an app called "App Install History" and it showed me the apps in reverse order of installation. Second after it was an app called "Inmobi 5_2_1", which I immediately uninstalled and the error seems to have disappeared. I don't know how that app ended up on my phone, might have been installed with either GameGuardian or XGameHacker.
Probably xgamemods
It was definitely xgamemods because. I just installed it and then noticed the new apps appearance within luckypatcher after getting spammed with a luckypatcher error toast.
