Of the known 3 methods.. viz :
1. Using apps like "Battery Calibration"
2. Wiping batterystats in recovery
2. Deleting "Batterystats.bin" in data/system folder
which one is the proper method?? plz suggest..
also... can this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312273 be the best way??
Method 1 does what method 3 does!
And that's the one I used... Battery life ain't too good on smartphones, ACE is not the exception... But everytime you flash a new ROM, make sure to calibrate after charging up to 100% (this percentage is REALLY reached like 10 - 15 mins after it is shown on the display)

hmm.. i know that.. but sometimes these apps doesn't actually do wht they're supposed to do (heard somewhere )
also what's your take on that 4th method. (link posted on 1st post)..
I just shoot a glance on it... But, since is intended for SGSII ... and since I'm not chaning ROM's so often... I'd rather not to give an opinion about it
Plz somebody respond.. i really need to know..
FYI i've searched through so many posts and didn't get what i wanted thats why i've created this thread.. plz help

But... Have you flashed that stock ROM recently... Calibrating battery is intended to delete battery stats when you swich from a ROM to another... It is not necessary (although you can do it no probs) to do it if you have not flashed your phone recently.

Y'all probably know Our mighty Ace's Battery Life. Im using Ligus OS for the last 2 weeks. The battery drains too fast. Today the bettery drained alot may be bcoz i used the phone alot. The battery went fast to 12%.
This annoyed me and rebooted into CWM and wiped battery stats. When i restarted
it the battery was at 38%. The phone gave me 1 hour life again. What exactly is our problem.? Its annoying.

Yes, correct the source code and build it again. And it may not help. Maybe it is a hardware fault.

It just mean that it used 80% of your entire battery usage. Nothing unusual, if you don't do big stuff on your phone. Screen is always biggest consumer.

You need to have at least 3 charge cycles before you can experience the difference.
Yes when I first got my s3 the battery was pretty bad compared to iPhone 4. But do the cycles and find a good rom and it's a whole nother world. I suggest read a lot here and watch YouTube vids

Depends on what all you have activated and what all is running in the background. Switch off gps, auto sync, auto sync is the main cause of battery drain, also turn off wifi and 3g data when not in use, standby time on idle should be 1% drain in 2-3 hours as per the latest firmware LG8, im getting full day battery with normal usage with screen time of 4-5 hours...

Your rom is fine... Just use it for couple of days and you will see the difference. By the way, turn off gps if not in use and turn off NFC. Also turn off any gesture you don't use at all.
