I was just wondering if there were any cases that you guys recommend for the X2. I bought one recently and it added too much bulk for my liking -.-. Do you guys know of any cases that are nice and super slim?? Maximum protection is not necessary, just enough to get by. Thanks!
I have the Rocketfish case from BestBuy. It's pretty light, and adds hardly any bulk. It's made out of study plastic. The thing I like about it, is that it's fairly cheap and comes in flat black. Can't stand glossy black cases, they look tacky/cheap to me.
Here some pics: http://imgur.com/a/jeMkw#DoLMG Sorry for bad quality, but had to use my Transformer's camera, since my point-and-shoot is dead.
I like the feel of the boby glove case on my x2. Its $10.50 at amazon. Verizon twice that.

I'm thinking about dropping my otterbox defender case for the ghost armor.
I use the OtterBox Commuter case for my X2 and ended up cutting off the flaps that cover the ports because they were just annoying. Other than that, it's an excellent case and fits perfectly! You can find them for $20 on the internet if you look around.
Thanks guys you've given me a lot of choices lol. I think I'm going to check out the Rocketfish and Body Glove cases. I also had a question about the ghost armor case; is it anything like the invisishield? Because I don't like the way that feels...
Check out the Incipio Step. Its a hybrid TPU/hardshell designed for the X2. Pretty much everything else I've found is an X hand-me-down.

Anyone have a recommendation for a case that comes with or has an available holster? And no to the Otterbox Defender... the holster is very poorly designed. Had one for the Charge, dropped it several times trying to reholster the phone.
sorry about that. My experience with the Otterbox has been excellent, I think the trident has something, but id look at the reviews on it before i pulled the trigger
Also have u guys seen this?

Looking for a slim case. I basically only want protection for scratches when laying on desks. I don't worry about dropping it.
My phone came with an otterbox defender series. It looked massive in the box and i'm sure it works well, but i hate cases to begin with and it never left the box.
So what is the slimmest case anyone has heard of?
I picked up one for $12 at those mall stands. Its super slim hard plastic snap on with a good feel to it. Its the thinnest one I've found.

Wow, tons of great suggestions. Thanks guys.
I've had a lot of phone cases over the years, and I've only ever been a repeat customer of Seidio. Their Active case kept my Eco safe until I got my Razr, which looks rather dashing in a black and red Active case.
About $27 dollars on Amazon.

I bought the Incipio direct from their site. It is a great case, I bought it from day 1 with my Razr. Till now I had about 5-6 very bad hits as I dropped my phone and let me tell you guys nothing just nothing happened to my phone or even to the case. It came with a screen protector and its build is really strong and good.
this one slimmest ,i am currently using.

Razr Maxx?
Can anyone verify that these cases also work with a Razr Maxx? I know it's a bit thicker so I figured I'd ask the experts before I tried to order.
Thank you!

Not sure, but doubt it. The maxx is thicker so I would assume you would not get a solid fit.

I bought the high gloss silicone case at the Verizon Store. It fits perfect and is thin and lightweight. Retail price is $20.

I'm pretty anal about my devices, and haven't used a case (bought some, but they just turned into toys for my daughter) and my vote is: no case, they add unwanted bulk to the device, and sometimes interfere with some functionality. Just treat it nice (aka, don't put it in your back pocket, and get on a roller coaster...)

TPU cases are great. Adds little to no bulk, but provides good protection. Stronger than silicon but not solid and unflexable. I recommended the Cruzerlite TPU cases. Can be had for $9 and change on amazon. I bought a few. All the cutouts are perfectly placed and there are several different designs to choose from.

Yupz.. sgp it's cool..
The back of the phone is very scratchable.
I got this case for $9 on Ebay, like it a lot. That trransparent part is matte, so kevlar is semi-visible.
Seido has some good cases - with a holster too
I got the Seido Active, doesn't add much bulk, fits in the car mount (With the car mount insert taken out), and has a holster too. I did try an otter box with a holster, but it didn't fit in the car mount, and the combo with the holster is huge.
I have two Razr Maxx(es), both with Otterbox Defender cases & belt holsters. Very impressed with the ruggedness as well as the comfort level using. Most stores charge $50, but you can get them for either the Maxx or the regular Razr on eBay for much less. I got them for $38 (I think) and each one included a car charger too.
How are casemate cases? Any one using it?

If anyone has a RAZR MAXX, just an FYI the regular RAZR silicone case will fit well!
I went with a case. The metal edges are just to slippery. I like more grip.

W/ that said I'm using a Defender. All my phones have/had defenders. I'm rough on my stuff and it really helps the resale later when my phone is in pristine condition. Plus this RAZR being so thin I just felt like I was going to break it soon. Sucks though b/c I have a white RAZR and I tell you, the white with the black accents is wicked looking.
I ain't using case right now, but I will international ship that case, with the back empty, protecting only what need it.

I put a phantom skinz on mine. It's just a wrap. Prevents the scratches if you want to resell later. They have carbonfiber prints that look pretty good. Lifetime warranty on the skin and they have a screen protector that isn't sticky like the zagg product can be.
Looking for a case just to be able to grip the phone better. Screen should be fine, as it's made from the good stuff.

Check the Amazon website. They have a lot of cases and/or holsters for good prices.
I would recommend the Otter box commuter case, not to bulky has a nice feel and most important protects the phone just fine!!
Sounds like you want minimalistic. Go get a Cruzerlite TPU case on Amazon. Like $10, and way less bulky than the Otterbox cases. Trust me on this one, you'll love it. There's a thread on it in the Accessories Forum with pics.

I just recently compared my phone with this case with someone who has the same phone in a Commuter case, and he was quite impressed by the much less bulky case I had, and is likely going to buy one to replace his Commuter. Cheaper, thinner, lighter, more stylish.

I'd say this is the case judging by the OP. Commuter wouldn't necessarily be as good for grip.

Recently bought this case and and screen protector combo. I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the price, but I must say I am very pleased with the quality of both products.
I used the casemate barely there case on my OG EVO for a while, and while I liked the case, it scratched the **** out of the sides of my phone. If the design is similar, I would stay away.

My wife and I bought the $1.99 (black) & $2.99 (pink) cases from Amazon. They're just as good as the $25 HTC cases we had for our OG EVOs.
Even if you're super tough on the phone and case, you could still buy a few of them for less than most other cases.
If you had to choose between the Otterbox defender and the seidio active, what would you choose and why? I am looking for a toughish case and it is between these two. I have experience with Otterbox on my old iPhone but have never used seidio stuff before. Have at it.

I know this thread's about two other cases, but since this recommendation was tossed into the mix I want to share that I just today gave away one of these Ballistic cases. It was "okay", but not great. I didn't like that the hard plastic surround shell didn't wrap around the top and bottom at all, so when putting the phone into (or pulling it out of) my pocket the silicone would peel back. To each their own...
Try the BodyGlove
Check the Body Glove case, it gives a nice solid feel and good grip. I really like how it makes the buttons press, very smooth and solid clicks on the power and volume buttons.
