Hi guys,
is there an app or some other way to add a confirmation after hitting the send sms button in the stock sms app? Something like a popup window that says "are you sure you want to send this message to "person x". Handcent can do this but I don't like their app.
Bump
No ideas?
I guess u wont b seeing that in android.

Hi guys!
I new to this forum section because I'm coming from Nexus S.
I want to ask if is possible that instead of the voice command when we double click to open the search app. or recent tasks.I know that we have the recent tasks by hold the menu button pushed but with the double click is a little quicker.
Maybe it answered but I did not found it yet.
Sorry could you be more clear? i didn't understand what's your problem

I think he asks if its possible to set double tap home button as task manager. He already knows long pressing works as task manager but he wants the double click do the job

Yes something like yhis. Or the double typing could be the search button. So is this possible or not?

I havent heard
I havent heard of any rom that does this. Usually all roms ive seen and flashed..(and trust me.... ive flashed almost all of them....), have taskmanager set to long press on the home button... ill search around and see what i can find.
Im saying this because when i had Nexus S I could use the search button for the recent tasks.

My phone has thousands of messages in a single conversation. It takes ages to load them all and lags my phone alot. And as some of you guys know, the iPhone has the "Load Earlier Messages" button. Can anyone convert the MMS.apk so that it has the "Load Earlier MEssages" button? Appreciated alot..
GO SMS Pro has that feature
Ace-ing all tests.

Have a look in your app-drawer and see if the dialer in there works.
The one on your desktop is a shortcut that points to the old one i guess.
i cannot do that i need more info
Hi if you want i can send you a new call app from the stock rom

On the ROMs with quick reply built in for texting we need to be able to have the keyboard come up automatically when quick reply is pressed rather than just having the pop up menu display and then having to tap the text line to make the keyboard appear. Its an annoying and un-necessary extra step.
The question then is where do we start? I'm willing to devote some time to this.

Hmm I guess I thought I was in q&a when I posted this. Oh well damage done.

I agree. The only benefit of it is that it doesn't close whatever app you are in, some apps close if you open the messaging tabs.

Nah I don't want to go to the messaging app itself. If you look at imei's quick reply the popup and keyboard both automatically pop up and overlay on the current window when the quick reply is hit. Ours is the same except the keyboard doesn't pop up automatically. That's what needs to change

The ROM I'm on the quick reply pops up and you hit the messaging field and start typing....all without going to messaging. You have the option but I still stick with quick reply.

No that's the point. You have to hit the message field to get the keyboard to come up. Why? The fact that I hit quick reply inherently means I want to type something back. Where did I say anything once about going into the text app?

Idk if I just read that reply wrong but it seems like you're being a demanding ass. I realize u didn't say anything about going into the app itself....I was just simply throwing that out there. So what you are wanting is the ability to receive a message and the keyboard automatically pop up or when u click the recieved message from the notification drawer, hit quick reply, and the keyboard pop up? The first part would be annoying as an iPhone and the second part is already in a ROM that I'm using. But with your attitude, good luck finding it and getting a dev to work on it.

Not here or any where within the XDA Community, will this be tolerated, Closed and dealt with .
Hi all.
Is there away to automatically block private numbers? I get stupid robot calls, leaving blank voice mall things, Dickheads calling me ect, if you don't have a number I don't Wanna talk to you.
How can I stop this?
I have a rooted HTC One.

call screener
doesn't the htc one has a build in call rejection like the galaxy s3 has?
did you try to hit the options key while inside the phone app and then hit the call settings
there i think you should have a call rejection option that gives you the option to reject calls from blocked numbers.
It doesn't block private number, it still rang when private calls me
