That depends, are you looking to completely ruin your phone? If not, I'd suggest not doing it. GT-I9100 and GT-I9100G are two seperate phones.
I dont think those with the G version should...i heard that the G version does not support cf

Well the galaxy s wifi series are the intl versions of galaxy player. (to be short ) So the galaxy s wifi you have is an intl version of the galaxy player.
Hope this helps!
Thanks

International has a physical home button, unless you are in france or italy you must have 2.2 but that doesn't matter due to custom roms. Both generally have lucky bricks. My international is prone to bootloops though.
Eng_Matt has two nice roms. If you have international you can use rumirand's kernel which is popular, if you have us you can use entropy512's kernel

Thx alot
caution that is for the INTERNATIONAL S3 NOT the US S3 ie those downloads may not work at all.
also I want independant camera's like the 4.2 camera. IE the ONLY thing I want from the Note II camera is the slow motion capability. samsung destroyed the burst most function that is so wonderful in the S3 when they upgraded the UI in the Note II
If I would connect my s2 to my 42" tv will the picture look rubbish and pixalated or will it send the correct signal to play it without much distortion?
As far as I know, the picture will be atleast 720p. But in order to do that, you need to have a stock Samsung rom or a custom rom based on it.

I have UHLPV ROM installed.
Then you won't have any problems at all. You're good to go.
