After that the tablet doesnt seems to find any new update, I have tryed with Kies and its says "Your device does not support software upgrading vie Kies".
I have installed the stock Recovery too.

Too bad your first [Q] is in the wrong section.
Updates are included in the custom ROM, and you can always flash stock ROM back. Now get your ass to the Q&A section.

You don't need to be rooted to install Custom ROM's.
For rooting you could use this thread, easy process, I like it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399
OTA updates don't work worldwide. In some countries they work.
To flash any Stock ROM, use this thread,

As long as you are on any Stock ROM you will be able to do update via Kies.
Regards.
Hello!
I'm having some issues with kies. It wont let me update to PDA:KF3/PHONE:KE7/CSC:KF1 (NEE) to PDA:KI4/PHONE:Ki1/CSC:KI2 (NEE).
As soon as i connect my phone to kies, it pops out me this link that says a new upgrade is availeable. As i click on it. It says do i want to backup my files etc. Anyways. I tried both ways. It starts to do something for a while until the page changes back to ''A NEW UPGRADE IS AVAILEABLE.'' Any advices, guys? I'm appreciated with any tips.
Flashing manually is not an option for me, im only updating via Kies.
Had same problem with my other halfs laptop. Used a friends laptop and everything went buttery smooth.

Hey Guys,
I got this device from Korea, the device has 2.2 Froyo.KRKG1, does anybody knows how to upgrade to version 2.3. Using Samsung Kies it says its already up-to-date.
Also I tried rooting the device using SuperOneClick, but unfortunately I failed and I had to go to download mode and did hard reset.
Please share your experience if anyone tried the above.
Thanks in advance..

Hello guys,
Bump, also have a YP-GB70 and wish to update to 2.3.5
How did you do the hard reset? I tried to upgrade mine too, and now its just showing the download mode.
You can update the device to 2.3 with this tutorial.

I just rooted my Galaxy s2
specs:
android version 2.3.4
model # SPH-D710
Kernel version 2.6.35.7-19100xwkdd-CL161513
Build number Gingerbread.EG30
Now i have no wifi and no service. I dont have any programs installed on the phone like cyanogenmod, rom manager or clockworkrecovery. I read that some people have it on there phone but i dont have service so i dont know how to install it on phone if i need it to fix this problem.
I did do a lot of searching but cant find the solution. Im thinking about bringing it to a sprint store to see if they can fix it but i thought id try this post as a last solutuion, im really fed up with this problem now. Any detailed help would be much appreciated...thanks
P.S. i went to settings>privacy>factory data reset and that didnt work and it still shows superuser on my phone.
Try flashing original firmware =)

Hello Everyone,
I'm fairly new to rooting phones and ROMs so if this question dosn't make sense please destroy my inner child :cyclops: I have a rooted sgs3 using odin and factory verizon build but the problem I am having is with ClockwordMod I think. The samsung update restarts the phone but ClockworkMod starts up right away and won't let the update go through. Is there a setting I need to change to allow all updates to bypass ClockworkMod or is there another way for me to get the update?
Any help is much appreciated.
Justin
Wrong forum, this is for the international version

odin and factory verizon build
In case that is misspelling and its not a USA phone but I9300 .
As posted multiple times root may prevent OTA updates .
use KIES use CHECKFUS .
OR
Try signature verification set to OFF in CWM .
