ive looked around a lot but havent found an answer yet, but sorry if it is a repost
anyways, i have been using handcent and i love it. but i was wondering if there was a way to also show the text message preview on the lock screen like the default messaging app does without turning on the default messaging's notifications.
or maybe there is something that allows handcent to have the pop up show ontop of the lock screen?

As far as i know handcent can't be used on the lockscreen. But handcent will cause a wake lock that bypasses the lockscreen if you answer the text quickly. Handcent is great. Its what i use.

currently what i did was enable the messaging app notifications to have it show on the lock screen but it still shows the icon in the notification bar. and if i turn off the handcent notifications, i cant get the popop.
the only nice thing is that you can use the messaging app notification and have it open in handcent, but i still want the popup after lock and during use.

The popup is the "lock screen" notification. Normally programs are not allowed to unlock the phone. They do it this way so that the first thing you see is the popup.
At least this is my understanding of it. To allow the text actually on the lockscreen would require lockscreen modification i believe.

When I get a text and i either see it or mark it read one of the notifications is still showing I have an unread message. I either
1) mark as read on pure messenger widget on my widgetlocker screen
or
2) click the text icon on my launcer pro dock and then click the new message
but the message still appears in the status bar (top).
The same happeneds when I do the opposite. If i clear all in the status bar, the notification will still show as new in the launcher pro dock
How can I get it so they both are in sync?
I have a custom slider that opens the inbox of a specific email account. If I make the slider using the email app then it brings me to a screen which has all of the day's calendar events and a link at the top for "all inboxes" with an unread count. In order to go directly to an inbox I have it opening a Shortcut rather than the email app itself which does what I want but I can't get an unread count on it the icon. I have the ADW Notifier app installed and the SMS part works just fine. Am I missing something?
I'm using WidgetLocker with ADWNotifier too, but i couldn't make it show counts for calls/emails. Works fine for sms unread count only. Don't know what's wrong as i set it correctly.
Is it possible to get the sms unread count to show up on the stock lock screen just like it does for the stock message app? I don't want the preview of the message. Just the unread count. I read that you can disable the stock message app on galaxy Nexus and a third party sms app will then show up on the lock screen but I don't think that's the case for galaxy s3. Please share if you know a way. Thanks.

Is there a way to keep the unread count on apps like Facebook, snapchat etc. if you have swiped away the notification(s) on the lock screen?
As it is now the unread count disappears from the app if I remove the notification(s) from the lock screen.
Sometimes I just want the notifications to disappear from the lock screen and still want to see the unread count.
I use Nova Launcher Prime with tesla unread on my Nexus 6P.
