Hello, I install the script "allinone Ram Script" and I do not know if it actually works.
What is the true value of ram between the two and how to see if the script is functional?
because the task manager SAMSUMG did not say the same thing as that of android.

Rom Stock : 2.3.5 XXKPO + CF-Root-S5830-v3.7-b82 + Allinone Ram Script
In stock rom u had 170 mb used , after allinone script ur used memory is only 84 mb. Still u cant see d difference?

the two does not show the same value, with the script running.
samsung task manager, and that of android does not display the same value at the same time.
at the moment : Android task manager used 103 MB

He's right! I thought I was the only one that had that problem. Not every app shows the same RAM value so we don't know which one to believe. Don't really know how to find out if the script is working.

...yes, the MMAppLauncher is the same, but with my MOD replace the startmenu after install, without any settings.this is the best StartMenuReplacemen for WinMo. WM button is still active.
and you have every a full StartMenu (also in SENSE ROMs). You gain back 8 - 10 MB free RAM in any rom ( original, clean, cooked ) Works with 6.1 too (but no free RAM gain).

Hey .. i finally rooted my galaxy s2
I am very happy with cynogenmod 9.1.0 but i am having one problem .. it is using alot of ram compared to stock rom
So kindly help if there is a solution .. cant tell abt the battery life as of yet.. i have just installed the rom last night ..

Do you have a question?
More RAM compared to stock? I don't think so. And having a task manager to clean up the ram will only result in apps loading from zero.
Try a different kernel. They have options to tweak CPU and RAM usages.

I actually figured out the problem ... i installed advance task killer which resulted more ram usage .. i uninstalled it and the usage is back to normal as in stock rom

doesn't this mean it's a nand rom? this is sd rom development section, i think it should be moved to nand section

So i just switched over from the gs4 to the gs5 and Am i the only that notices that so much ram is being used on this phone even when all programs are closed with my galaxy 4 it would be at round 600-700mb with the galaxy 5 I can't get it under 1gb with everything closed ? is this normal ? Also phone feels way laggier than the galaxy 4 am I the only one noticing this ? any tips on how to improve this kind of dissapointed, Btw I already rooted the phone......... Another problem TWRP when I make backups it seems to be fine but when I try to open the backups they are empty just takes me to a rom like if it was brand new never configured ??? Also tried using CWM and doesn't seem to find a compatible version ??? Thanks for all the help ahead of time

1. RAM usage looks about normal
2. It shouldn't be laggy at all. My device has no lag at all, even from wakeup. Try flashing the NE5 rom.
3. TWRP backups work fine for me, sorry I can't help with that. Try re-flashing TWRP.
I had s4mini free ram max 900mb
Now I have n7100 and its around max 900mb, I think sam has a lot of apps there in RAM.
Is ridiculous that this phone takes 1 gig with all the apps closed..... we only have less than 1 gig to play with.... kitkat is supposed to use about 500mbs the other 500mb+ is samsung crap

I've used ram manager pro to create swap space for
testing purposes.
In extra tab, tap swap to create swap with directory of your choice!
Can create as much as 4gb.
what for ? getting 64gb of ram ain't make your phone faster than 2gb
Swap makes no sense on a memory optimized OS as Android. Storage is always slower than RAM and SD cards are even slower.
Besides, on Android free RAM is wasted RAM, having more apps loaded into RAM makes multitasking faster.
This is the worst idea i've ever read.
