Maybe some more details about what you've done to break it?
What's it doing now and what it doesn't anymore?

Also, write in the right forum might help as this is not a developer issue. Writing what you have tried from the 100 other threads on this topic will also be a start.

...but the good news is "the phone ain't bricked"
First of all: if you have an question, try to know about two things. The first one is always to be as clear as possible, give us all the information you have and tell us exactly what happened what is exactly the problem. The second one is to always be polite, the community is doing this for free and as a hobby.
Now after that:
Please tell us what happened when, when you tried what to do and what is exactly your problem? Also tell us what youve tried already.
yes unbricked it thanks for veiws and reply
Post it to Q&A selection, this is dev selection and then spell corectly

Hi all …..
I have the same problem …. It start from two days
It was working in "GDX v21b" and all fine except the magnetic sensor not working and gives this note "magnetic sensor failed"
Maybe it's not working from the first …. I don't know, I was afraid that my magnetic sensor is broke so I decided to install another ROM and I test "MiniCM7Pro_V21" …. The installation work ok and the magnetic sensor work good but the camera work in VGA mode not in 5M Pix so I test another ROM "RSv02beta" but phone refuse to start the installation so I give another ROM " MiniCM7-2.1.9-mimmi" the install start work but did not complete and the xrecovery stop respond so I remove the battery and reboot the phone.
Now the if I boot ON the phone it hang on SE Screen …. The phone not responding for the back or the on/off button …. I can't go to the xrecovery or tern it off till I remove the battery
I do it many time and connect it to Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 and didn't work
Can any one help me
Thanks
Well, MiniCM won't work unless you've installed the right kernel. Remember, when installing a rom, always read the instructions!
Have you tried using SEUS instead of PC Companion?

Now I need to repair my mobile please
What about SEUS ?????

Maybe you can read instructions to install specific ROM? For that ROM named MiniCM7 2.1.9 you need custom kernel in order to work. So it is for our phones but you just need to set up everything written in instructions. Read instructions how to, what are requirements for that ROM, etc. Maybe you'll find solution to install it.
Thanks for all
I use the SEUS and I install the oregnal ROM from SE and now my mobile is working up fine
Thanks Sir
How did u manage to start SEUS ! Mine give me this error
"Failed checking application versions, please reinstall the application and make sure you have the latest version "
Sorry for asking but my phone is dead and i want to install back an original firmware !
Dear Sir
Can any one tell me what's happened to my mobile ????
After its work up as new and I hacked it and install "GDX v21b" as the past …. Every thing ok working fine but the magnetic sensor not working and that is ok with me now.
But I go to settings >> about phone I find the model number is mimmi not U20i
Can any one tell me what's happened ???
Go back to my first post to see my problem from the start …. My phone was U20i
Now any new ROM shall I install on it as the same for the U20i as before?
Thanks all

Yep, that or SEUS. I've screwed up before but don't know any other way to sort the phone after installing an incompatible font.

If I am not mistaken, this ROM is still a beta version. So these bugs are to be expected. You can post on the thread and the OP should respond to you.

Like said, follow the instructions on the thread as to how to report bugs. Hopefully, they can help you out.
see the rom may not be for usage purpose doing it was not at all a good idea .u can try using se pc suite and enter the firmware upgrade mode then connect to the p and then automatically the pc suite will regonise your device and will downgrade to 2.1 which would be functional .
it happened with me too
this has been discussed over and over and over and over again...
you have to open adb shell and then killall servicemanager
oh and by the way. dispite It´s costum rom it work almost perfectly, except the camera part of course.

Reported it, too. Let's see how the mod decides!
officiallysonyrebel as stated this has been shared previously however not in it's own thread so in the spirit of sharing it's fine to post it up however you must give credits to where you found it. It also seems that your guide is not complete as you can't stop at just flashing the active FTF which is a stock Sony file not modified so please don't tell people it is. For it to fully work you need to then flash the stock firmware for the device over the top as per xshanep19's instructions.
To clear everything up please complete your instructions and also link to xshanep19's post to say the instructions are also there but you're just making them available for everyone who might not see that post.
Thanks

Hi folks
Here is how to root any 2011 Xperia running any of the 4.1.B.0.587 4.1.B.0.431 / 4.1.A.0.562 and 4.0.2.A.0.62 firmware . No need to downgrade kernels or anything, just root it straight away
Rooting
Go to settings > Security > Mark "Unknown sources"
Settings > Developer options > Mark USB debugging
Settings > Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode > select MSC mode
PC Companion installed on your PC.
1) Connect your phone to PC ( IMPORTANT > Skip PC Companion installation pop up on your phone.) and wait for the adb drivers to be installed. If these drivers don't get installed, phone would not be detected by Eroot.
Make sure nothing else ( specially flashtool ) is running on your PC in the background.
2) Download this rooting toolkit. Google Drive /// MediaFire /// 4-Shared and run it. If any downloading starts, cancel it by clicking the green button. Don't let the eroot download anything.
It should now detect your phone and show an option to "-root". Just click on it, wait till it finishes
3)Rooting done ( For confirmation see if any Super User app has been installed )
4) If by chance it fails for the first time, give it another go. it won't harm your phone in any way. If you still face problem, click on show content below
Go to your C:/ Drive / User/Username/AppData/Roaming/ folder and delete the eRoot folder.
If it says cannot be deleted then open up task manager on your PC and kill bec.exe . Then delete eroot folder.
Still not working ? used the archived method to root 2011 Xperia here below the animated Xperia picture.
