Port MIUI In-call Screen to Sense? - HTC EVO 3D

The one thing that keeps me coming back to MIUI is that I love the "in-call dialog" screen and it's features. I love it so much that I am willing to forgo 4G / 3D to get it.
Is there a way to port this over to be used on a Sense rom?

Yeah and the rest of MIUI looks like ios too. Whats so different with the MIUI screen?

How about you just get exdialer and download that skin. You can find the app on the market or over at the android app thread

Awesome man. Exactly what I was looking for!
Question though. How do I set up the system so the exdialer handles inbound calls? Wouldn't that still default to the Sense dialer?

smooth scroll in app list like og evo??

I've searched around and can't find an answer so it would be great if someone could help or point me in the right direction.
When you in the app menu/app list on the e3d its a page scroll, no more no less... with the og evo it was a smooth scroll and speed determined by strength of the finger slide.... anyway to get that on the evo3d?
Thanks!
That's because the 3vo is Gingerbread and the Evo was Froyo. If you upgraded your Evo to GB than its app drawer would behave the same as the 3vo.
gotcha, that makes sense. well, anyway to get that scroll back??
It is sense 3.0. No way to change it as of now. Not sure if a custom rom will do it either once full root is achieved. Best thing to do is use another launcher like launcher pro, adw, etc. You will lose all your sense Widgets tho. Only way around it right now

You can hit menu in the app drawer and use a list type with a smooth scroll and scroll bar

Download adw ex. Way better than sense and battery smooth

Maybe if you upgraded to Mikfroyo or another Sense 2.1+ ROM. The stock update didn't do this, it's because of Sense 3 not Android 2.3...
when we get full root, it will be possible to diable the "pagination" in the apps list.
a patch for that has been available on Synergy rom for the Evo 4G, and could very possibly be ported to the Evo 3D

Help with CM7. <<PORTING STUFF>>

Hey. I really love cm7 for the speed and stuff, but there is TWO things that I miss. Sense dialer and contacs. Is it possible to port them?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Nope. It needs the Sense Framework, and if you get that, you have a Sense ROM.
Damn thats sad. :s any other dialer&contact apps? That would not lag. Because rocket dialer does lag like s***.

There's a discussion thread here:

You can go through that. I don't use 3rd party dialers, and have gotten used to the CM7 one.
Thank you!

Stand Alone Landscape Rosie?

Has anyone seen a standalone landscape Rosie mod? I have seen it in a couple of roms.
I am not ready to HTC unlock, I want to make sure I am not going to have any hardware issues, so I am waiting for a little bit before unlocking.
If there isn't a standalone mod I might try just pulling the Rosie.apk from one of the roms and putting it in place with root explorer. Has anyone tried that, and is it only the Rosie I need to pull or are there other files?
Thanks

If your not rooted, then go to the market and download a app called rotation locker. When you open the app longpress auto rotate. You will then have landscape and portrait Rosie.

I just pulled a rosie.apk from a ROM that had it and put it in the /system/app folder. I renamed my rosie.apk first though just in case. I also changed the permissions of the new one to rw-r-r. Worked like a charm.

Thank you, that app also supports landscape dialer. I have been looking for that forever. Don't like car dock mode. Tried every rom on my OG Evo and it was right there in Play Store. I feel really dumb now but thanks again.

That rotation locker is pretty nifty! I just wish it supported "upside down" landscape where the charger port is on top.... when using it plugged in + kickstand, I have to keep the charger port on top
This app locks it in landscape. I can't get it to auto switch. How are you all getting it to work.
Edit.."long press". Got it.

Your welcome. Thanks for giving me credit. Only thing I see that it messed up is landscape camera. But it still takes pictures fine.

This is a horrible Idea. I just tried it and my phone became extremly unhappy. If your running Stock Odex, this won't work. Even if you delete the Rosie.Odex, your phone will stop working properly. Luckly I was able to revert it with ADB once I figured out the correct mount command.
I am guessing clone1008 was on a custom rom.
I used the Rosie from Stock with goodies 1.31
Okay Back to my rule no more screwing with my phone when I am oncall at work.

Multitasking issues on sense need help.

Well the title basically says it. I go to switch apps and it shows them like basic sense 4.1 and when I click am app it like enlarges the image, it doesn't open it because I can move the enlarged images and can see the other apps in the back ground.

HTC TV Remote Widget?

I haven't seen a thread for this but there may already be one. I was wondering if there is a widget that allows you to control your TV from the home screens rather than having to open up TV app. It isn't a big deal to have to open the app it would just be easier to have a widget.
Thanks for any and all help.

If you use it often, you can click and drag it from apps to your quick launch bar with the phone or email or Internet.

You can add to it and it automatically creates a folder. See my home screen.

Yeah I did that at one point. Just didn't care for how the folders look. I guess I was just really hoping there was a widget. Like how it is in the notification center. but on the home screen. I also think that htc should have spent a little more time on this functionality and made it so that the notification center banner action executed the remote actions rather than taking you back to the remote app.

Got it. FWIW, Nova Prime launcher has multiple/scrollable quick launch menu without the folder.

Yup yup. HTC did an amazing job with sense 5. Easily the best iteration of it to date.
