Hey Dude...
IMO Use Ice cream sunday2 "Barebones" by @Jusada + @Ketut oc kernel + V6 supercharger script... This combination blows all other roms out of the water in terms of speed & the rom is rock solid stable...
I have been using it since it's release & I have not encountered a single issue.
Stay Breezy n Be Lucky...
Peace...

TheMythICS or sangingerace lite! its awesome! fast n stable!

[Q] is qualcomm msm7227-1 turbo 800MHz can be oc to 1GHz?

i searched many forums about is it possible to oc msm7227-1 turbo to 1GHz with stability but i was unable to find strong answer ..
my question is :
1. is msm7227-1 turbo or msm7227T is different from msm7227 ? i know they are but is turbo one is overclocked by factory or not?
2.is it possible to overclock msm7227T to 1GHz in near future with stability? because its predecessor msm7227 which 600MHz by stock can be oc to 750-800Mhz
is it possible to msm7227T to oc or its only be oc to 864-921MHz??

It's not overclocked .
It is rather tweaked in terms of hardware to make it able to run at higher frequencies. Then it was released with the different name of "Turbo".

I don't see what the need to overclock the phone is? Are you trying to run Call Of Duty on it? Ketut's OC kernel will take you to just over 900mhz. Any higher and your device will reboot.
If your SGA is slow, chances are you need to free up a little more RAM. Not everything is attributed to the CPU speed.
All it'll do is give you slightly better benchmark scores (who cares) and sap your battery quicker.
Hope that didn't sound too condescending btw =S

Battery Problems

I've been using my Galaxy Ace for a few days now and I notice that the battery is pretty unstable. I have ICS2 on my phone.
I usually notice how my phone drops from 100 to 90 percent in 2-3 minutes or charges about 10 percent a minute. This is starting to irritate me, especially since i have Juice Defender on and I calibrated my battery.
What should i do to fix this problem or improve my battery life?
Yeah I had similar experiences like yours as well. I often let my battery drain out completely (I wait for it to shut itself down). Then I plug it in and turn it back on after about 30 seconds. Once booted it then said the battery was at 11%.
11% in 30 seconds!?
same prob. here ..

I have the same problem, but somewhere I´ve read, that the calibration takes more time than we think. It needs more than just one cycle. I´ll post, when I get results!

Just a little shoutout:
Not supported does not mean outdated. Not supported means not supported. Outdated means it does not follow the current trend.
Jusada's ICSunday is very fast, IMO, though it lacks several features (not important ones, though), and is quite unstable, especially with its OC kernel.
I'm using it right now, with a non OC kernel, and I'm quite content.
Why not try it out yourself?

Dude it's not yet outdated its just that its unsupported (2 very different things). Anyway, ICS final is a fast rom (fastest i think for ace) although lacks some features like live wallpaper. The rom sacrifices some features for SPEED get it if u want a fast rom. If u want features, might as well go with nims' GC or Infinity rom (both are good)
When I asked Jusada, he himself told me that ICSunday is outdated and newer ROM's are better.

Negative!!
Trial and error
----------------
Sent from my Ace. Galaxy Ace
Use a stock rom if u want battery life (i ussually use KS2/KS9)
Use a custom rom with overclock if u are searching speed. More speed involves more battery drain.
Use a stock rom if u are searching stability, they are the only which hasn't bugs.
The three things together are impossible. Speed will drain ur battery. Custom rom involves bugs.
Try the latest stcok indiam firmware and several others, like 2.3.5 or 2.3.6

And didn't try ( creater of that thread ) the Cyanogenmod 9 beta 8... The camera never work, the battery life is short ( I recharge it all days ). So I think that CM 7.2 by the FrozenAceTeam is the better because every things work!
