hello everyone im a noob i made a theme just changes status bar icons just thought i would share and also removes clock from status bar.
still learning trying to do this on the lil free time i have be easy on me
+ download to your SDcard
+Might need to wipe cache/dalvik before flashing
+Flash in recovery-cwm

I used 7-zip extracted framework-res-apk
And you should be able to see all the pngs and just edit the ones you want

Idk if anyone said anything about it but when u scroll down the date appears and its a darker shade of black it doeant bother me one bit but something idk if its supposed to be like that or not

This is a mod i made the the signal icons because i got bored of looking at regular bars!. This mod is applied thru Metamorph.
**11/17** Added WIFI icon

INTALLATION:
Download 'Signal_Icon_Mod'
Open 'Metamorph'
'Unzip/Extract new theme'
Select file
'Apply All'

any chance of you getting sick of the stock Wifi and Bluetooth Icons and modifying them also? i love the look of this a matching set of notification bar icons would be nice ie. Bluetooth,wifi, signal, usb, battery, clock etc

The rosie is themed that is one of the changes the screenshots don't show.

Ok everything is on point, just found 1 thing that is non-responsive. Unable 2 send pic text msg's.. Keeps coming up a Generic error from attemping to send multiple times.

I haven't edited anything that would affect network of any way. you might want to reflash your ROM

Its a known sprint/ shift issue update your profile and prl then reboot works like a charm for the ones that have mms problems

Awesome. Glad you got it figured out.
Big update posted in OP:
BEFORE: This theme would consume like 30-50 extra MB of RAM when using which caused alot of slow downs at times (not too noticible),and would sometimes also hinder MMS messages from being sent
NOW: This theme consumes no extra RAM from what Supreme Sense already uses.
FYI: I did notice a big problem with the ROSIE when using this theme (just got my shift rooted again) I WILL be fixing this lol because it is a major turn off from the theme.
Hey guys I just released a new Update for Radiant Red (i know, i know 2 updates in 1 hour.)
I realized ( now that I have root and can test my projects) that the rosie had a big problem
more specifically: the personalize button wasn't transparent and the rest were so it looked very ugly and not many people would want to use it
well anyway I just fixed it in this update (1.4) enjoy the theme.
plz leave suggestions in your comments, because i do look at them

flash attached file with cwm.
this theme is for v16 to v20. enjoy.

I used it with v5 it looks great. The only thing is that it takes away the battery digital %.

What version of cwm are you using to install this? I made my own and it wont flash (error 0), but im on jokers cwm v3. Were there any particular options you selected in the file upload section or did you just do recommended for everything? Also, after flashing yours phone wont boot.

Does not work on versions past v11. But if it did, it would probably work through bootstrap.

I tried with bootstrap didn't work. I didn't notice in bootstrap a option to do regular cache wipe, I've only seen the wipe dalvik cache under advanced menu.
I really want this mod, I would love it if some one can help me out.

i created a new theme for v16. it's little bit different.
everything created with uot kitchen.
edit: this one has blur gprs and edge icons. for fixed version go to 20th post.

i want more but i can't do andvanced things without a tool like uot kitchen. and default nemus theme is good enough for me. however i looked over nemus theme wiki. there is no too much edit options. only themeable things are page indicators, app, menu and home icons.

Would really like to make several Metroid Themes for my Rezound running Viper 1.0.3. I'm very new to it and was wondering what files to edit. Like do I edit the files in the drawable-hdpi or the ones in drawable-xhdpi? Are they basically the same files but in different resolutions? Also how do I edit the statusbar's look. Not the icons on the status bar but the actual status bar itself; like turning it from like black to red or something?
I think its drawable-hdpi. I haven't themed in awhile and my ssd corrupted so I lost all turning progress I had on my computer. As to theming the status bar; I think its part of the systemUI.

All I know is .9.pngs are the ones that give you issues

you will want to open the indexed images in something like paint.net, save them, then open in photoshop to edit.
If you are only worried about the statusbar icons then i would suggest grabbing the theme template from viprez thread and just change them, much easier approach and you know what icons you need to change.

Download the zip the unzip it you'll need a launcher like go launcher or apex. At your home screen long click an icon choose edit then click choose icon and find where you unzipped the package and click the icon you want to replace it with
