Possible to use UOT kitchen on unnamed? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

Don't want to bother if it's not going to work. Just want to add custom lock screen.

I've not had much luck with the UOT Kitchen and unnamed. And I tried only uploading systemui and also with framework and twframework only thing that reliably changed on mine was the battery.

Did you happen to try changing the lock screen? It's really the only thing I'm interested in adding

No lockscreen mods will not work from the kitchen

I use widgetlocker so no need to change the lockscreen for me

Well that's disappointing. And I disliked widget locker, I was looking for something that was more built in.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App

Same here. All I was able to change was the battery and I got some menus to work too but that was it. Icons and lock screen stayed stock.

Shame. Will the lock screen work on stock, or is it an issue with the phone itself not being compatible (yet)?

Sidekick lockscreen

As the subject suggests, im looking for it. Has anyone seen the new android sidekick's lockscreen as a flashable thing? I would love to have it on my thunderbolt...
Sent from my HTC Thunderthighs using XDA App in style!
same. i second this.
Its framework dependent. Same reason we don't have the touchwiz puzzle lock or sense 3.0's lock.

Here's the sense 3.0 lock screen.

So, is it possible to root then flash the whole phone to work and have said lock screen?
Also, i think sense 3.0 lockscreen is terrible. Nothing special about it.

No, the Sidekick Lockscreen would have to be ported over first in order for you to use it. Or else you'll just have the AOSP lock screen.
I like the Sense 3.0 lock It has a ring and supports widgets. Lolol.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA Premium App
this would be sickkk
Apparently the lockscreen is buried in the framework very deep, so it may be difficult to port

Goto lockscreen!!

I must say this is the best android lockscreen I have seen in a while. I have widget locker purchased but this one was a must buy.
I don't have a direct link to it but just go to the Android Market and search goto and you will find it

This lockscreen Looks promising

it doesnt fit my screen. it stops way before the right side
I used it for a while. I liked it but there isnt nearly as much customization as widget locker and its alil buggy. I also use a security pattern and it wont work with a security pattern or pin
Its not even fully functional -- when i press to disable volume buttons to prevent wake it doesnt work it still wake ...

I used it for a few weeks on my Hero but uninstalled it because it's not fully functional

Does it fit your screen? I what am I doing wrong. My slider is squished to the left.

This is by far the coolest lock screen. Unfortunately if its not fully functional then its useless. I hope Innoweb gets it 100%. Im all for buying apps but I hate it when devs charge $ for something that's not really finished and/or compatible.

[Q] Changing lock screen

I was curious if there is a way to change lock screens? The fascinate had a puzzle piece that I like I have seen ones that are the weather. Just curious if there are ways to port these if its worth it and so on. Thank you for your time
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
I wish I could find the puzzle lock one. The only thing I've found is an app called "Widget Locker" it allows you to customize your lockscreen and make it whatever you'd like. I got the HTC Sense lock screen( the cool looking one that you drag down)

I saw that you can use an app but I would rather have something that was built in doing not an app that always has to be running
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
What little I understand is im assuming its in framework-res.apk or I think that file plays a role

it doesn't constantly run like you're thinking. there is little to no change in battery usage.

Disable stock lockscreen?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable or freeze the stock lockscreen? Ive used other lockscreens like lockbot and magic locker and for sone reason the stock one still pops up so I end up unlocking two screens. Gets annoying. My phones stock nonrooted.thanks in advance.

You can use widgetsoid and create a widget to disable it. Or, if you have Power control Plus you can use their widget too.
Thanks a lot. Ill give those a try and post back.

Also you can freeze via Titanium Backup one app - Sprint_OMADM.apk, of course if you are not Sprint user.
the free app 'no lock' is amazing and works flawlessly. Best app on the market imo
Thanks guys for all the help! I tried widgdtsoid and power control. power control worked but it had a notification symbol which I dont like. I just downloaded and installed no lock and I think I'm gonna go with that one. You guys rock!

No lock + Agile Lock screen works great together
Anyone have a solution for us with Outlook EAS that requires the PIN? No Lock does not work for me.
I use go locker with no issues

Im using no lock to disable stock lockscreen and am using go launcher/go locker with sense slider for my lockscreen. Works flawlessly.

Use widget locker. It's not free but it sure as hell is worth the admission fee. It gives you the option to completely replace the stock lockscreen plus it has loads of other useful features (integration with teslaLED)

Droid DNA stock lockscreen

Hello this is my first post, probably a noob question but is there a way to change my lock screen to the ics lockscreen instead of the ring, I just think it looks cleaner especially with this amazing screen, thanks in advance
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
Use a third party app such as go locker, widget locker, etc from the play store. Or root your phone and use one of the roms that allow you to change the lockscreen to that of the ics one.

Also remember you can choose no lock screen in stock settings. I couldn't believe it when I first noticed that because I don't like an extra lock screen, to me it's redundant. My security pin screen is my "lock screen".

Make sure you flash Cubed Kernel so you have system write privileges, then use a file manager and go to /system/app/htclockscreen.apk and change .apk to .bak, and restart. It should be the vanilla lockscreen then. That's what I am using.
Widget locker was def worth the money.
after changing how it looks?
