[Q] Android 4.1.1 touch screen calibration

Hello,
I recently got an Onda V712 tablet running Android 4.1.1 (with a capacitive screen). Sadly, the touch screen calibration is wrong. When I tap, the tap is registered in the wrong location, and some areas (the sides of the screen) are not accessible at all. I already tried this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=934500 but it didn't do anything.
Is there any way in Android 4.1.1 to calibrate the touch screen mapping? Or does anyone know if there is a file that stores the calibration data that I could edit? I have root and adb and can access all screen locations using an USB mouse.
Thanks,
iwashere

[Q] Touchscreen drivers

Hi everyone, I am trying to fix what I think is my Indian tablet, I have a firmware that looks ok, but all the touch screen drivers are for 7" screens and i am certain mine is 7.3" which means the top of my screen where the menu button is unusable. is there anyway to alter the driver or find a driver that will suit my screen?

Touches registered 3cm to left on Atom Z3735G tablet

After a lot of trial and error I was able to install remixos on my tablet removing the original windows 10 that came with it. So right now, I am booting remixos 3.0.207 from the internal emmc and it's working fine apart from the touchscreen and sound.
Touches are being registered but not properly. These are a few things I have noticed:-
1. The mouse pointer disappears as soon as I touch any part of the screen and a selected icon on the desktop is deselected once I touch any empty part of the screen.
2. To start something say play activator I have to touch about 3cm right of it. And the left part of the screen is inactive.
Tablet info.

Can anyone help me fix this issue?

Recently, I understood that the touch panel on the tablet is an MSSL 1680 and there's a file silead_ts.fw in the lib/firmware directory. Tweaking that may fix this issue. Any ideas?

Tablet's touch screen issue

Hello,
I have a tablet with Android 4.4.2 (kinda old) and recently I changed its touch screen because it was broken. It's the second time I change this tablet's touch screen and the first time it was working correctly, but now it acts weird. More specifically, it "clicks" at wrong location instead of the location I touch (I have enabled touchs tracking from the advanced menu). It does not click on it's own randomly, it just clicks wrong. My thoughs are that the touch screen was faulty but a second opinion would be appreciated. I'm also thinking of calibrating the touch screen with those apps running around in play store. I can upload a screenshot as well if needed.
Thanks in advance, Michalis.

Peloton on an Android Tablet

It looks like the Peloton screen is just a custom Android Tablet. They do not have an Android App. Has anyone figured out how to run the Peloton screen on a random android tablet?
even if you get Andriod on it, you will proper drivers for display, touch screen etc.
