You can be a a little more specific here?
Your phone connects to your router (wifi network), yes?
But it won't load any pages or let your browse while having a wifi signal?
Is that the problem you're having?
Yes that's exactly the problem... I've got other things that connect to the router without issue. My Xbox, my computer. But the phone won't do anything once its connected

In addition, my phone is rooted, lag fix installed. I also took the sim out, connected to mifi2200, but same thing, cannot surf. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hiya all,
Is anyone having the same issues on their ThunderHammer with WIFI not picking up any locations? I seem to not be able to get any hits on any networks, I am rooted running stock, I have ran the ROM by XXXVIRUS but maybe it could be in the WiFi sup. Checked the build.prop changed the interval to 30 ( 15 native) can't seem to get her going.... I'm not a NooB, and can use and and I know my way around some Droid ... Any ideals let me know, or its back to Verizon to replace, ( came from og to dx, and they both had no WiFi issues, this bolt can't see and may have to get contacts!!!!)
Bump.... To see if there are another with this issue????

If I have a dodgy wifi signal it will connect with 'limited connectivity' which seems to mean it dosent connect at all.
I then need to go and fick about with the settings to get it connected properly.
Does anyone know if you can stop it doing this, I have tried various wifi management apps to no avail?

I have been seeing this issue with my phone for 3 days. I will connect to my home wifi and it will have a strong signal in my room. But then randomly it will disconnect and then reconnect and it disrupts me if I'm using my wifi. It does this often. I'm going to go stream some music in another part of my house and see if it cuts out there or of it only does it in my room I'm not sure right now. But does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do so it stops doing this.

So I think I got this figured out. I recently changed the security on my router to WPA/PSK and this is when my dna started acting up. I temporarily removed the security key and now it's not doing it. I guess I will throw a WEP key on and see if it disconnects and reconnects.

Ok looks like I solved my own problem. I changed my security to WEP and it has stopped disconnecting. I guess the dna just doesn't get along with WPA/PSK or at least mine doesn't.

It seems to be router specific. I have 2 routers in my house. Both are wpa, one will drop out from time to time on my and the other one doesnt.

Well it's working now so I'm all set. I saw some posts on a verizon forum of people having the exact same problem with WPA. So yeah probably just my router.

Just got this phone and the WiFi connection seems to disconnect every time I'm using it. It recconects in seconds but is annoying because its constantly dropping the connection. Not a router or modem issue because my iPad and my sisters gs3 work just fine with the WiFi. Any solutions?

Router settings:
Authentication method: wpa2-personal
WPA encryption: AES
It has to do with your router. For some reason some routers with some settings do not play nice with the dna.

Any that work well that you know of?

I forgot to mention, It does not like an unsecured connection
is it doing this all the time or only at night cause HTC included smartsync which does this to data and wifi from like 8pm-6am. If so get https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jonny.smartsyncdisabler from the play store enable it and reboot and problem solved. If you think its your router what model you have because it probably isn't.
