Does this version recognize both phones and the tablet or tablet only? I think the previous versions it was just one or the other and you couldn't have both installed the same time. Thanks

New HTC Sync
With this Version, I had no luck to get it to work.
But with Version 3.0.5557 from here it works great. My Flyer 3G and my Desire HD.
Maybe the OP want to update his post
Hi
Just checking if anyone has been shipped/got an S-OFF Flyer?
I've not put this in the Dev section until i find out if there is any around.
Please do not reply to this unless you have a an S-OFF flyer, or a HTC flyer from another region apart from EU or North America.
I really don't want a thread full of " mine from Best Buy Springfield it hasn't got S-OFF, what S_OFF?", if you don't know how to check if its S-OFF please don't reply as what i'm going to ask you to do will be like sticking spoons in my eyes!
Cheers

Bought one in Malaysia - looks like there's a specific South East Asian version.
Language wise it has English Malaysia/English Singapore - and has Vietnamese & Thai language options too.
Anyway - unfortunately it's S-ON
S-OFF is equivalent to a dev-kit where you can load any ROM.
Retail phones are S-ON as the embedded ROM has been officially tested for QC.
Mine is s-off. Just bought it today through eBay in France. I havent started exploring the root-ing options right now but happy to have it s-off.

Ok. The seller has 5 HTC flyers available. All with s-off from the factory and brandnew. Price 450 euro each. Let me know if someone needs it. Can I start a new post for the same?

Still avail?
S-off flyers still available? If so, do they have East Asian language support (Traditional Chinese) etc. I am very interested

Normally HC doesn't (shouldn't) have any issue with GSM, but in our Flyer case GSM is not natively supported neither in GB nor HC.
But I wonder this: If it could be made working on GB, why not the same on HC, considering the fact that most GB programs runs ok under HC?
Essentially the platform itself supports phone call I believe, but I read somewhere that the phone.apk is there but no skin (or wrong skin) for the phone interface.
If you watch this video, someone managed to use honeycomb Flyer to make GSM phone call, but he did not elaborate where he gets the phone.apk with proper skin from.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6_bZUwbzjQ
thats because HC itself doesnt support phone function...
and for that video, i remember if you change the build.prop, the phone will pop up but its still unusable since the video didnt show the speaker and mic working...

It can?
I only now that VOIP calls are possible but the same apply for the Flyer.
And: You cannot make gsm calls on honeycomb
HTC ONES to be released next week in Europe. Now they can release them in the US then deploy the ics OTA after market deployment. Corporate pigs!!!!

Unfortunately, it does not mean much for 3d users.
Yea, the release of this phone, or any phone, has nothing to do with releasing ICS for the 3d.
Let's be realistic folks its marketing stunt.

They already have a cdma version of the one scaled down for ATT and other carriers. Once they release the one in cdma carriers they can update software for other HTC devices. Why would HTC update there older phones before a new device is deployed? Dumb move if I were in the marketing department of HTC.

Well, to throw a stick in your spokes, the EVO 3D is getting ICS, but only Sense 3.6, not 4.0. So really, it wouldn't matter if they released it before the One X. Especially since they've already released the update for the GSM version of the Sensation. It's a new experience.

Got mail from HTC
With regards to your enquiry, kindly note that HTC has been working hard to get its Ice Cream Sandwich updates ready, and we're excited to announce that our first round of ICS upgrades will roll out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XE, followed soon after by the HTC Sensation XL. In addition, we can confirm Ice Cream Sandwich will be coming later this year to the HTC Rezound, HTC Vivid, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD.
Unfortunately we cannot yet confirm the date of the release. You can check on our website or our Facebook pages about the news regarding the ICS update in the upcoming weeks.

Ok, but that said "Later This Year" for the HTC Vivid, and they got the official release before the US Sensation (unless the Sensation on T-Mo has it already). So, they're just not shedding details right now, that's all.
Well, I want sense based ROM.
This is for me the only reason to go with HTC.

Most of us will already have a new phone by then (june) with ics already on it. I highly doubt they would release it before the next evo.

Hi everybody!
I have a question for you, I have an HTC Inspire 3d from Telcel in Mexico and I wanna update to Android 4.0 ICS but I don't find wich Rom must I install because there are only roms for HTC Evo 3D, will this Evo 3d roms work on my Inspire 3D? They have the same specifications but i don't know if they have the same hardware and if the rom will work properly, i want to install this rom on my HTC: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671369 [ROM][Cool Sense 3.6][2 July]Cool ICS v10|APM|FULL TWEAKS|FAST|450+RAM|EXT4 ALIGNMENT
Thanks, I hope you can help me...
Sorry for my bad english, i don't speak it very well...
I have the htc inspire 4G, the roms you have to use are the desire hd roms. All the ics roms for the inspire are beta and a bit buggy. I suggest cynaogenmod 7 rc2 until a better solution comes around. Hope this helps..

I'm sure I have an HTC Inspire 3D, but I think this is the same thing than HTC EVO 3D, HTC seems to only changed its name for Mexico, Inspire 3D has the same technical specifications than EVO 3D...
Ok then use Evo 3d roms.<--double check on this
**DON'T use HTC Inspire 4G Roms, or you will most likely brick your phone**
The HTC Inspire 4G has completely different hardware than the HTC Evo 3D.
As always happy rooting, and flashing. And as always I take no responsibility if you brick, or damage your device in anyway, shape or form.

Ok thank you very much, i'll try the HTC EVO 3D Roms...
Well after several attempts to install King Cobra 3d, my htc did not start, stayed at boot, then I read it could be the kernel so i install it from the post of the king cobra rom and still did not work, so I had to restore my original rom : ( anyone knows what could have happened?
