Hulu+ - Motorola Droid RAZR

Is there a way to get Hulu+ working on the RAZR?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using XDA App

Ran into the same issue. I went to hulu's website on my razr and they said that this device isn't supported yet. I guess we have to wait a little while for it.

Hey guys,
If you're rooted, install Titanium backup. Slip this cluster into your TiBu folder on your SD. Restore app only. Restart.
Enjoy!

Thanks. Which way did you root your RAZR? I have used Pete's Motorola Root tools method for my DX, will it work for the RAZR?

I'm having trouble setting it in titanium. I was wondering if anybody could help

Not that I'm aware of. You need the bootstrap apk.
Then I switched to safestrap.
Use the one click231 for method, it's pretty easy for beginners.

Okay, you may not have unzipped the rar file? Open it up and find 3 files. Those go into your tibu folder.

I have done that I have placed the files in the tibu folder. it should be labeled hulu, right?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using XDA App

Does this work? I made a backup of hulu from my GN and restored it on my RAZR. The app works but reports that it isn't compatible.

The files should not be renamed or placed in a separate folder. I'm not quite sure why yours isn't working.
Does it not even show up in the batch restore menu?

You need to use the backup I posted. The one you've got isn't hacked.

I think you need to be deodexed first to apply any mods.

Wouldn't try anything right now until there is a safe and easy way to recover back to stock. To many people are soft bricking, almost including myself.

Can I block OTA?

I just got a new razor Max. I hated ICS on it. Can I block the OTA or do I have to keep hitting cancel?
GINGERBREAD just runs better in my eyes.

You thunk they would of fixed ICS by now but still the Razr isn't the only phone that has problems with it.

Free the "updater" with Titanium Backup Pro.
Or just install ics, and use some launcher to make it look like gb.

Install titanium backup Pro.
Open the middle tab, find the apps named "Updater"
Click on it -> choose "free app" option. Done
Now you won't have to worry about the update reminder anymore
Thanks me later

I don't know if i'd call it a troll. I've yet to see a convincing reason for why I should upgrade. I'm still not sure whether I will do it, especially since it is a one way trip!
Wait till gingerbread out to razr.

A troll to not like Ics? I don't get that one. I don't want it either and used titanium to freeze the updater. Worked great. Ya'll enjoy ICS and I'll enjoy GB. Nice to have a choice.
Thanks for the help!!

I've got a copy of Windows 95 if you want it.

I do enjoy ICS for Razr: better battery, better wifi and 3G connection, smooth screen, no more locked sim... but I guess everybody has their own liking so If you like GB, go ahead :good:
Lol.. I'll still have the floppies for windows 3.1
Reminder the old days? Insert disk 1.. Grrrk grrrk grrk... Grrrrrrrrrk.. Insert disk 2.. Grrrk grtrk... Lol

I am with Verizon. The new root method djrbliss came out with i believe two days ago for RAZR running jelly bean is what i used. If u read the forum he posted this on, it is really simple to do. It took me about ten minutes or less

where do i get safestrap, clockworkmod, etc? I understand u need these in order to flash roms, am i correct?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda app-developers app
Yes, you can get safestrap from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1391900 and bootmenu manager is available in Playstore
Sent from my XT910 using xda premium
Tasker and secure setting are cool, Avast! can do more, free WiFi tether, setCPU, busy box and terminal emulator, check out ROMs and sideload better apps. Get out there and explore dude, self education is half the fun.

I think this tool is pretty simple, clear and easy. Just follow the steps and give it a go. In the worst scenario, if you do something wrong, root won't be achieved, so nothing will actually change. But it's really easy, seriously.

Soak OTA

Im part of the ota soak test. I woke up with this file ready to install. I pulled it with Matts ota puller app

Root?
Will the root method for the December JB OTA update that got pulled work on this one? Or can root saver be used to update to the soak but keep root?
I use my wifi hotspot as my primary internet so I do not want to loose root, but the update I got in December that got pulled is not very stable.
I'm not sure i haven't updated yet. But from what I've read if you use ota root keeper it should save your root. I will report back when i update

Yes neither of them work with jb. You have to use the sqlite hack and enable the verizon hotspot

Can anyone confirms this works on GSM Razr with CID.img bypass?
Phone is downloading the update itself.
How do I install it?
Does anyone know how to install the update after it's downloaded to internal memory?

The next step is to move the file to your SD card. After that, you can follow the instructions in this forum or in the Droid Life article today. Or post again and I'll help.
