who win's ace vs i phone 3gs

hello friend,
i have recently buy ace and my friend have i phone 3gs 16gb
sometime i feel that my ace is running really slow than iphone 3gs
but i heard that ace have powerful processor than iphon 3gs
i want to see your review abt this comparison
plz share your experience here

In specs the ace is better. In reality iphone is smother, maybe not faster but smother. The wifi on the iphone is shockingly slow. But what you you really need to consider is do you want open source or not. You can jailbreak an iphone but its not great, you'll never get the same as android. Iphone is for showing off, ace is for funtion. I have both and use my ace. Every now and then i boot the iphone for games, but thats getting less and less.

The 3gs has ARM V7 which makes it faster really.
But in terms of operating system android is for the adventurous.
My girlfriend has the 3GS and is always complaining about the lack of functions compared to my Ace.
Since she had a HTC Magic before, she knows of what Android is capable and is always saying that iOS runs smooth, but is for idiots.
Tap-a-talked from my Galaxy Ace
ace wins hands down......iphone 3 has no chance heres proof http://www.compare-cellphones.org/Samsung-Galaxy-Ace-vs-Apple-iPhone-3GS..
and as for iphone 4s then if you have an updated ace like 2.3.4 or 2.3.7 then the ace also easily beats the iphone 4s(ps my friend had a 4s but after i updated my ace he was so humiliated he went and bough a galaxy s2 just to compete with me lol)
...and the winner is.. tanrararan..

Why not possible lol
Many user repaired hard bricked under warrenty
not know about other company but samsung repairs
If want proof use rom manager after root in stock rom without cwm
Then go to samsung service centre
They will repair
Otherwise we have consumer forum in india
+1
I bricked my Ace using rom manager in June and got repaired by Samsung service center.

thanx for info
but our topic is "who win's ace vs i phone 3gs"
it is informative for us
if we are debate on it
i was about to say the same thing how has this turned from a iphone v ace into a where and how to fix your ace???
Hmm, yes, the options you get with this open os are great! But,someone said it already, the iPhone is for dummies, anyone can get it and use it without lots of action.
The Ace came with stock Rom and yes, it was useable but not really rocking. You have to read and learn till you get what most of us here have now ... a rockin Ace
But that's not Samsung's work,it's the work of the great Developers on this OS.

Ace its the best
iOS cannot be modified like Android, and its illegal for iOS
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
ok so we are all in agreement that a iphone 3 or 4 or 5 or 345 is no match for an updated modified "rockin" ace!
I wonder what would an upgrade to the Ace look like......Ace II ? XD

[Q] beginner android phone, galaxy ace or wildfire s, or another one?

hey guys,
i'm currently doing some research for the 14 y/o brother of a friend, whose parents have just allowed him to get a smart phone.
i only ever bought nexus devices and would recommend him the nexus s, but unfortunately his limit is ~180 euro and the nexus s is ~270 euro here in germany. thus i need some advice.
he can't decide between the galaxy ace and the wildfire s. which one would you pick? i'm looking for things like easily unlockable bootloader, stock android and cyanogenmod support. but those things seem to only be found in older, cheaper devices.
what would you say has the best bang of the buck and is future proof and could possibly get cyanogenmod support?
thanks,
x
I would go for the galaxy ace because it has more development.
Sent from my HTC_A510c using xda premium
yup, that's my observation so far. there's even an unofficial cm7 port for it.
until i can come up w/ an official supported device in the price class, i'm gonna tell him to go for the ace, or if possible pay 100 bucks more for the nexus s.
Yeh galaxy ace if you want to root it, wildfire s has not been cracked open yet so has very little support

galaxy ace..
samsung updates their firmware fast compare to htc..
I would go with ace.
However i found only one issue where you will need to remove the battery to get it back to work. When you enable the wifi and leave the phone idle for a long time, the screen goes blank and none of the button seems to work. You will have to pull the battery to fix it.
Lol looks like someone prefers form over function.

I was just saying that not any samsung phone could "fit the bill" .
Galaxy Ace for sure. It has more support, plus, he's 14, I'm sure he and his friends will care about the looks a lot. Teenagers are very judgmental really.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Tooo!(2)

Dayuuum right I'm excited guys! PhoneArena's preview of it looks promising even as a Prototype unit! Just hope for a better design. Go check out the video.
it has been introduced long time ago
Its worthless anyway as the Galaxy S Advance has come out in somewhat the same price range. Anyways I dont have money to buy it and will have to stick to CyanogenMod 9 to make my phone good. Its pretty old news anyway!

Galaxy S advance seems really good, but samsung are cheating us? Why this really new phone only run Gingerbread. There is no insjrance at all that this phone will be upgraded to ICS. Wait and see, but if the Galaxy S 3 is the only Samsung phone running ICS now., i'll certainly move to the competitor... Maybe Htc...
Enough is enough, samsung is going too far...

what about sgs2 f1 nexus? you have used that rom ... Or CM9?? how these roms work??
They work just fine, with few bugs like TV out issues and stuff.
Battery life is little less than stock, though I get 12 hours mostly.
So its up to you. Cm9 will get there eventually, but remember Cm9 is not rc'ed yet.
of cause original is better than custom.. since custom are still living with bug =)

Basically,if you want a more powerful phone, its obviously the samsung galaxy sII..but,then again ,pure AOSP experience will be found only on Google Nexus..I am using a GSII with Slim AOSP ..& trust me,its as smooth and as battery friendly it can get..Yeah, Custom Roms do.come.with bugs and stuff, but they are eventually fixed..some stay on..but its kind of irrelavent to me...and thats my opinion. So,choose wisel

i am sure team hacksung will continue giving us aosp on gs2

The Galaxy S2 is as fast as the S3 at stock speeds and as fast or faster than the HTC One X if overclocked scoring around 5000 in quadrant, I think the S2 is a better phone than the other two.

s3 best of them
if u like the taste of sense 4.0 then go for the ONE X
in my opinion the S3 is better because both have the same HW specs but samsung devices are more customizable than HTC ones
Best look if you love sense: HTC One X
Best hardware: SGSIII
Best software: Galaxy Nexus/Nexus 7
It all depends on what you prefer, looks, awesome hardware for gaming and such, or best software with the quickest updates to the latest Android version

Htc One X is not that great from,i prefer s2 to one x and i think one S better in Htc's ,S2 still a realy nice device, super quick with Jelly bean and cheaper now but if money is no object, get an S3
