You need a specific kernel and an app to do that........here you go :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1182922&highlight=bln
and look for BLN support and you will find it in the list....
dont forget to hit the thanks botton ......

is this kernel close to what i have now except with BLN support? I dont want to loose my great battery and speed

Speedmod doesn't support bln, so either try siyah's or void.echo.

+10 for that

an alternative to BLN: NoLED

no mod necessary

Customisable Buttons in Pulldown?

Is bit possible to change the buttons in the notification pulldown? I'd like a data on and off toggle. If it's not possible I guess I need to find and download a widget?

EDIT: reason why i am asking is because if you are why not flash a rom that has the jkay themes and settings..let me know if you want a link so you can check it out...

Thanks for the suggestion. Would like to stick wit the ki3 rom for now but if I get fed up then all those tweaks sound great. Almost cyanogenmod like list of mods!

i must say if CM7 was stable, which basically it is bar the bluetooth i think it would be the best rom and everyone would be at it.
if you want a custom rom based on stock then VillainRom is the one to go with the tweaks..

[q] pulse notification light aomk rom?!?!

Hi GUYS....i flashed an AOMK ROM (black infinitum exactly) and i saw there is a voice in the display setting: PULSE NOTIFICATION LIGHT......i belive it serves to notify SMS or CALLS, but when i recive some notifications the hardware button doesn't blink...so, someone could help me out? has already happened to some of you?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
Its a placeholder for other devices with notification LEDs, and should have been greyed out. AFAIK, BLN doesn't work yet on CM9 / AOKP
It's works now with the latest beta siyah kernel here:

Really?? So, just flash this kernel and the pulse notification should work!!?
I'll try it immediately....
I just tried and it does not seem to work...you still might have to install the BLN control app

1. ICS ROMs only
2. Siyah kernel compatable.
3.try a Rom tht already uses siyah 3.0
or check gokhanmorals thread:
Siyah Kernel 3.0 Thread
Test it now and report it later..thx..was searching optimal settings for extweaks..
Thank's man.
Look good here.
It's the first time i tweak my phone, but it's possible to do that without apps, just by editing a file via ssh?
I don't like GUI ^^
Thank's
Nice topic mate... I wonder where you got the idea from...
can we apply "save as boot settings" ?
and one more thing. Do we need to apply your setting in both apps i.e. extweaks and voltage control ?

First test if these settings adapt to your device using the GUI elements(VC/ExTweaks).....
test for a day or so...if all goes well....u cud go init.d

the ExTweaks are recommended.
VC is optional.
I have applied both but it does'nt seems any problem.
GUI has been improved and for battery let me check for a day.
Bechmark result has been decreased to 3438 as previously it was 4410 with same Siyah kernal in GS 2 with Omega V6.0 ICS black blue edition.

Benchmark is gonna give u junk values.
It conflicts with the tweaks meant for battery savings....to generate a lower value.
In Real-Time its a whole different scenario
Thanks for good explaination.

big.little, is everything okay?

Hello guys,
Today i open cpuz app and there i see a new thing i have never seen before in my phone. Big.little cores, before it says 6 cores x1.75 something like that and now it changed and eating more battery. I tried changing roms, changing kernels but it remain there, is there anything i can do to close it and bring back my battery backup. And it never show core x 1.80.
Thanks (and please understand)
anybody......?
I'm really not sure what your question is. CPU-Z looks normal. 1.80 should be hit when under stress.
It's normal. Nothing wrong with that.
That's how big.LITTLE works.

Guys, my ques is that this big.little ( i know it saves battery but in my case i think it is eating) things is not there before in from past few weeks (maybe 2-3) it is appearing in cpu z and the clock speed is 1.80 max but it is always before 1.75 max it is never 1.80, so i wanted to know how this things happen? Flashing kernel causes this to unlock in hardware or what? And whatever rom, kernel on i am it showing as it is. It is 10 months using rn3 and it is showing now, how?

Lol...theres nothing wtong with this... Default on our kenzo max is 1804MHz on big cluster (2*A72) and 1440MHz on small cluster (4*A53).
You can change frequencies or governors with kernel adiutor man...

How to calibrate screen in MI a3 without root ?

How can I change my screen's color temp (cool or warm) as stock android doesn't allow to change screen colors. any app ?
Only way I've found so far is to use night light feature in Settings. It makes the screen warmer but unfortunately adds a red tinge even at lowest intensity.
BTW, I'd be interested to know if there's a way to calibrate the screen WITH root. That may make it worthwhile for me to try rooting.
