Had the same problem. It simply did not work at all.
even im facing the same problem..
try cleaning cache/data and reboot the phone then try again. let me know if this helps

go into settings-->manage apps--> and scroll down to facebook app, double click then clear cache
thank a lot but i couldnt find the name of the facebook widget apk.......
It's "Social" under applications, you also need the facebook app installed. I assume everyone using the widget does correct?

After sliding over 500 apps on the market aplication....it shows as..."Authentication required you need to sign in to your google accout"

Have you used the market without problem before or is this problem after flash of some kind of rom and first visit to the market?
Is there no triangle in ur status bar? If there is click it and accept...
Wipe cache and data on market also
Or sign out then in on google talk
it's not problem we all have same thing (all android devices )

the problem is...i havn't tried this before ...i mean i haven't gone through over 500 apps in market.....
so i dnt know the problem to which might be related...

no buddie there is no any triangle on status bar......actually i am being signed in, its not an actual signin error....its some strange.....i can access every google app thingys...but only cant scroll over 500apps
ya tried wiping market's data and cache tonns of times...but it seems to be no any use........

Looks like its associated with an app you have check this out:

I had this issue. It happens when you install certain apps that have over stepping permissions. Some apps make widgets, and some change the home page.

I don't know its only me or google play store app really have some bug. I am not able to download or update any app from the store, it shows downloading but doesn't start to download. anybody else facing this issue??? please help me if anybody can. I've tried everything, that's available to me. It's really annoying!!

It happens a lot, you just go to main menu/config/application, here, search for the google play store app, inside the menu you have to erase data and cache.
Restart the phone and open play google, it will ask for your data again, sync it with your google account and voila! all ready

Go to your phone’s app launcher, and press the Talk app.
If you’re already signed into Talk, press Menu, and then touch Sign out.
Launch Talk again to sign in.

Go to: Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Apps>Google Play Store
Click on this one then Clear Data and clear cache

Yes i noticed it now with the update to 4.4.4 no more youtube widget
Guys, everybody who wants the widget back can do this 2 ways..
1. Go to settings, then app manager or applications, then click YouTube, then click uninstall updates.... Voila, you will get an older version of YouTube with the widget for your home screen.
2. If you want a more recent version, here is the apk. ver. 5.9.0.10

Hi.
I translated the cloud app from iunios from Chinese to English. Compiled OK
Added resources to original apk.
Added to zip and flashed.
When I load cloud to sign in, everything is english. I enter my login and the app crashes. But I am still login.
Something is broken but can't figure out what.

Also noticed that the original apk is bigger than the added translation modded version. Which shouldn't have due to the added 108kb strings.XML file

Thought I didn't need to due to being system app?
But the app does work just FCS on login section of app

You need to sign the application either way.
If your app has a login screen, does it access a server of some sort?

Yeah it will connect to the iunios cloud server. It does actually login me in. I know this as in status bar there's a quick click that says logged in with my name.
But can't get into the app due to fc
Can't download contacts MMS etc that's stored on the cloud

That's really weird.
Can you compare the code side by side so that you didn't miss an important factor? (ie, you left out a comma)
I guess that's the only reason left.

As in logcat? Yeah but can't find any info about the app FCS in logcat. Still login after fc just can't get to the part where you can.sync SMS and contacts
