It's a long time since I've posted here. I just hope these observations about my lumia will help.
I purchased it 16th november and use it as second phone.
Since the latest update it lasted 6 days 1 hr in standby 28 % power left. I only checked for emails and played about with settings so very light use.
When i did the wp bench test it only lasted 1hr 28 mins.
I assume this shows that it wouldn't last long if I used it normally.
I've also noticed that although I charge it to 100% battery saver only shows 94% as soon as it's disconnected. A software fault I assume.
Hey guys, I am new to the forum and I am a Lumia 710 user. I am sharing my benchmark results too.
Date of Purchase: 17-Dec-2011
Carrier: None at the moment, its unlocked and I haven't thrown in a sim card
OS Version: 7.10.7740.16
Firmware Revision Number: 1600.3007.7740.11465
Hardware Revision Number: 112.1402.2.1

Bootloader Version: 7.33.0.0
Chip SOC Version: 0.74.2.1
WIFI On
3G Off
Data Connection Off
Location On
Brightness: Auto
Time: manual
Is that decent ?
I hardly have a clue since I am new to the smart phone arena and one of the major reasons why I chose wp7 was hoping it would not be a battery drainer like android and I would be able to make the phone last the day easily.
RESULT: 3 hours 41 min 31 seconds

Erm, I am guessing with results like that, your phone will survive normal use for 18-24hrs+, and in Battery Saver mode will go for 4 days+! Looks like great results to me.
How is it working out for you?

Woah good to hear that and thanks for the reply twisticles. Actually I just got it like 2 days back and haven't put in my microsim and ever since I got it I have been running benchmarks since so many users have been posting about battery problems.
Plus my old phone uses a normal sim so I ll buy a new connection for this one. I ll definitely share my results with u after I start using it properly.

During the test, I received 2 short 15 second calls.
I think everyone should disable auto brightness as we don't have the same testing conditions.
See the screen gets locked within some time anyways or just do that manually so I don't think autobrightness on or off should be an issue there. Same goes for wifi on or off.
With the screen locked, the wifi gets disconnected as far as I know and so if it is on or off initially should not be a problem.
So I think we are already doing it under almost the same conditions.

Hello,
I am having difficulty updating my HTC Titan to the latest bootloader that came out recently.
My phone is unbranded, purchase from HTC UK.
I live in Australia, also wondered if this update was exclusive to areas where the phone was actually sold in.
The details of phone are:
OS version: 7.10.8107.79
Firmware Revision Number: 1600.2200.20301.708
Radio Software Version: 16.23.03.17_ 16.27.00.23U
Radio Hardware Version: 2.122.0.D4

Hi,
I was curious if i could install a custom rom on my phone, so i started searching for tutorials and guides. I've been looking for a couple of hours, but I'm quite confused and don't want to destroy my phone. I don't intend to spam, whatsoever here is the information:
OS Version: 7.10.7740.16
Firmware Revision Number: 2250.21.51101.111
Hardware Revision Number: 0004
Radio Sodtware Version: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
Radio Hardware Version: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader Version: 5.11.2250.1(133065)
Chip SOC Version: 2.2.5.0
I wasn't sure what information is of importance. I hope that's everything you need to know. I aint lazy, I just got to work a lot and all this information is simply overwhelming. How do I know if my phone is branded? Do I have to downgrade the phone before I can install a ROM? Can I even downgrade this OS? Which ROM do I chose? ... Can someone please give me some links and a quick explanation what do I got to do and in which order?
Thanks alot in advance.

Hi everybody, I got a Lumia 800 and everything works fine, the only "problem" I am having is that even though I have all my contacts saved/linked to Windows live, etc, whenever I get a new SMS, it shows only the number and not the contact's name, that does not happens if I get the message via MSN, in that case I do get the contact's name. I was reading all over internet and found that someone else is having that same issue, and post it on a Microsoft forum, but that was since April 2012 and have no replies, so, I hope that in here some expert guy can help me...
Here are the phone's informatio:
Model: Nokia Lumia 800
Software: Windows Phone 7.5
OS Version: 7.10.8107.79
Firmware revision number: 1600.2483.8107.11501
Hardware revision number: 112.1402.2.4
Radio Software version: 1.6.00.24
Radio Hardware version: 8255
Bootloader version: 7.35.0.0
Chip SOC version: 0.74.2.1
I know I am suppose to have an update, but again, I've been reading on different forums and found that after that update, users gets some problems, so, I haven't do it yet. Again, I hope that someone can help me with the SMS issue so that I know who is contacting me.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I have a HTC Mozart 7 T8698. The phone always restarts itself and there's a moment where the phone vibrate 6 - 7 times and stuck at the htc boot screen. :crying:
Here's some technical information about my phone:
OS Version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.51205.707
Hardware revision number: 0004
Radio hardware version: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version: 5.12.2250.5 (139188)
Chip SOC Version: 2.2.5.0
I've heard that downgrading the SPL would be the solution. But i don't know how to do that and which suitable ROM should i use to safely downgrade my phone. For your info, I have a Y-cable, a SD-card, a SD card reader.
Hope you can help. :good:
