My Gf has stock Gallery and when she opens it the bootanimation start looping. Sometimes happens once, other happens a lot of times.

I've been trying to run a cm9 or cm10 based rom like MIUI, epinter's or any other but my phone keeps rebooting.
Now i know that those are not random reboots, the reboots appear when the phones goes to sleep; for example, everything is ok until i turn off the screen, then the reboot will appear around 20 seconds after that. The same occurs with the music player, while the screen is on it can play everything, but as soon as the screen goes off, some seconds after it freezes ( it sounds like a repetitive nasty sound ).
I believe that the phone is freezing before entering in deep sleep, do you know how to fix this? This happens in all the rom's i've tried, so i believe it's something related to my phone since there are a lot of people that can run it perfectly
Hi everyone! Since a few months i have my phone, i don't have it rooted or anything, i just have swipepad and normal apps. The problem is that yesterday my camera was not working (it opened but i couldn't do anything, the buttons were not responding) so i decided to reboot. After that the camera was fine but the open/close animations for any app stopped working (wtf). The config is fine, all animations are enabled but nothing happens, the apps just appear or dissapear without the opening or closing. The rotate animation is not working either, however other few animations are working, for example if I open the apps "app" it opens with the animation just fine.
I uninstalled a few things that I had installed previously to this problem, a couple of keyboards that I was testing and some other random app, but the problem continuous.
Does anyone know how to fix this? (I haven't tried a factory reset yet, I'm saving that as a last option xD)
I hope someone can help me, its a little problem but is driving me crazy, I hate when things stop working out of nowhere.

I finally did a hard reset and spent all afternoon installing the apps and cofiguring the phone and everything is working perfectly. I'm doing a backup now so I have somewhere to go back to if anything weird happens again xD
Hey guys. My S3 started freezing randomly a few days ago. What happens is that I will be playing with it and then it will literary become unresponsive along with the hardware buttons except the power button. The weird thing is that the animation on the screen is still active: say I was writing a text and the little blinking bar keeps blinking as if nothing is wrong but the phone is simply unresponsive.
I did a factory reset and it is still happening.
Anyone have any idea what the heck is happening? Is it hardware or software related?
Have a read of the freezing thread in general forum, sounds like the operating system is dealing with bad memory blocks.
Well, same thing happens to me, i looked up on that tread about bad memory blocks: well i even tested the memory and works fine, no bad memory sectors, my hardware power button responds to restart (no need to pull out battery). When it does freeze it doesn't unfreeze at all after some time ( i once let it unfreeze for entire night on charger and it stood on the same screen after 8+ hours). I even reinstalled a different software (JB 4.1.3 Darky edition) and it freezes very rarely now but when it does, it's still same kind of freeze. When it freezes it freezes mostly on Twitter app but sometimes random app. I don't know now is it really a faulty memory or just software bugs... btw dummy file didn't freeze my phone (to be clear) after i reinstalled the software, but did it before on old one

I have exactly the same problem, when phone freezes nothing works except power button, when pressing it about 10 seconds, the phone reboots. I have exactly the same model (GT-I9300), but Lithuanian. The freezing lasts from 10 minutes to an infinite time. All the freezing started about three weeks ago, when google play started updating iron man game. I tried dummy file geterator, the phone hasnt freezed at all, but the phone freezes randomly when opening internet, other apps or just anytime, even when phone is on stand by. I tried flashing DarkyRom 4.1.2 XXEMB1, but the phone started freezing even more, then i recovered from the Nandroid backup, and the phone is now freezing not so frequently, about 1 freeze in 2-3 days, but it still freezes, and i also have a strange "Process com.google.process.gapps has stopped working" problem. I tried every solution to this problem, but none of them works. Also, i think it is somehow connected to the freezes, because after those messages phone freezes sometimes. I dont know how to solve these super annoying problems, because i tried nearly everything, and nothing works. I think this might be a hardware issue, and that i should buy a new phone. If you know somehing, help me!
I had an LG G4 with boot loop. They told me that V10 is newer and has no such problems so I switched to V10. V10 also failed me after a few months the device went into boot loop and I had to factory restore it. Booting to the clear operating system I asked google play to setup as new device and I installed all my applications. I only use normal applications like Facebook, Messenger, Viber, Whatsapp, SwiftKey, Snapchat, Paypal, Banking apps etc. The device is so laggy. It freezes like every 10-15 minutes. While I scroll on facebook it suddenly freezes and it takes few seconds to unfreeze. Or while typing something ie on Viber, the keyboard freezes and I cant type or touch anything. I have to wait a few seconds like 5-10 to unfreeze. Even if I try to click the back or menu button i see it is selected by changing the background color of button but it freezes there and it doesnt nothing and after some seconds it unfreezes. This freezing is happening like 10 times per hour. Some times it take too long like 30 seconds and I have to restart device. Is it related to boot loop? Does anyone had similar problem? I am suspecting that the motherboard had to be replaced after boot loop, as I did with G4.
EDIT: Btw, before boot loop the phone was so super fast, no lagging, no freezing, everything was so smooth. An amazing experience even better than G4.
I have gone to the point of factory resetting. But whenever I do something that involves the camera, sometimes it freezes up on me and reboots.
Snapchat crashes my phone whenever I open it, and when I tap the gallery option on instagram. CRASH! Even my camera app caused my phone to lock up. To get it working again I have to wait a long time. And then it could still reboot on me. Sometimes I have managed to quickly go in and out of snapchat to get it open. But now I've tried 3 times and it has all crashed all those times!
Please help me, I'm 90% close to ditching Cyanogenmod and their stupid issues I have to deal with.
This is urgent, and annoying!
