I had my prl changed to 11115. Now it's 51083. Obviously it automatically updated. Ia there a way to keep the PRL from automatically updating? Now I have to change it again manually. Harumph

Ok, I will look for that apk and delete it.
A side observation about roaming with 3G. I have noted that some apps think that I have no internet connectivity at all during 3G roaming with EVDO. Others seem to work fine. Can this be fixed?

Use *228+ (hold down zero to get +) to get the numberpad. You can also use *22890 to activate and *22891 to update the prl.
