I know Microsoft recently released the Hotmail app for Android. Can someone tell me if the app supports Hotmail's new category feature? Basically categories is the same as labels for Gmail.

If you used an app like Touchdown, will touchdown sync calendar events to your phones built-in calendar like the normal exchange?
This seems to be a hot topic that the native Gmail Android App does not support this.
I recently downloaded the Hotmail App as I wanted to have push sync and low and behold Microsoft have coded this in by default! I was gasping for breath, how has Microsoft managed to do something right that Google has decided to do wrong and remove it from the Gmail App.
So now all my Gmail is forwarded to my Hotmail App just for HTML email.

As per the title, anyone know of any e-mail app that supports both HTML (like the official Hotmail app), but also can sync all e-mails not just ones from the last 3 months?

Not sure about HTML, but stock email app can sync all with Exchange not sure about anything else.
You can use Gmail and set it up to fetch your other email address(es).

Does it support Notes syncing from exchange 2010 servers?

ICS allows mulitple selections, syncs Mail, Kalendar and Contacts.
Notes and Tasks are NOT synched.
The E-Mails are now displayed properly and the Contact handling is really cool as it integrates tie information about the Contact from Exchange, Facebook, Google+, Yahoo,.... in one Tab.
ugh. So if I want Notes and Tasks I need to for out for a 3rd party email app?

I use gmail native app.
It let's me select which "sender" or "from" address I want to use as my gmail account has multiple.
Is there any other email app which supports this?
Because the gmail app in general is quite basic otherwise
