process com.android.phone ERROR !!!! - HTC EVO 3D

I always seem to get this error when i am dialing #'s. Its like if I try and dial a number too fast the keyboard begins to lag and just stops responding.
Anyone know a fix for this issue ?
It only happens when I dial #'s ... too quickly it seems and the phone just stops responding...i cant hang up the call that i am on or even finish dialing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
my phone is rooted. h-boot 1.5

fyi, when you restore data, it negates the fact that you wiped it, also dalvik is in data. If you're going to restore, there'e really no need to wipe first (except maybe cache), since the restore process actually first wipes each partition being restored. Then it restores it.

quite honestly, i thought that i experienced this issues when my phone was stock.
cant really remember though. i know my original EVO had these same issues. I'm starting to think that the HTC dialer is faulty.
i will wipe everything and then...reflash the ROM. I wont restore any data and i will see how it goes.
just out of curiosity... where is the nandroid backup and all that kept? i made one before i rooted. ALso, I've been wanting to format my sd card, even though it has nothing to do with this issue im sure.

[Q] Application Data restore

If I understand the following function in SGS2 correct, google servers back up my application data wifi Passwords and other settings in cloud on their servers.

If this is actually correct, then I dont even need an app like Titanium backup and wouldnt have to think twice about installing a new ROM since all my app data and personal settings will be restored automatically.
But after installation of a new ROM (with wipe data/factory reset) google account downloads and installs all my apps from the market but does not also restore the app data along with it. I noticed even my wifi passwords are not restored since I had to give passwords again, after the new rom was intalled, in order to access my wifi network.
I am on UnNamed 2.1.1.
Am I missing something? Your help appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
yes in my experience it has never saved any of my WIFI settings or app data. Its pretty misleading on Google's part that they back up everything. Also if there is any sort of interruption in the app download from the market then all hope of getting those app back are lost and you have to manually download them (I had that happen a couple of times).
It is misleading and some ROMs also disable the auto restore function. Definitely get titanium backup. Just be careful restoring system data. Usually best to only restore missing apps with data.

Cheers and thanks!
P.S. I just updated to ICS (oficial) and still the same.
if thats happening while ur on charger, than yes change the charger.
if you are on custom ROM wipe and flash stock using odin not custom.
better to complete wipe including system partition.
Hi, thanks for the reply. This happens when charching and on the go too (not charching). I have stock ICS official.
Its very strange :/
Just wipe your cache/factory reset/erase all data/and then fully charge phone while off before first boot, last but not least wipe your battery stats in your cwm recovery, then boot, voila problem gone, and stop using diffrent charger's, use only samsung official charger

Thanks for the reply. I dont have CWM recovery (my phone is not rooted and I dont plan do root it). I will try and let him drain the batery, then I will wipe everything and recharg while off...
Oh yes, I allmost forgot... Example, when I am on google Play, there is a zone that is untouchble... (exmaple, the "acept and download" button) hmmm... seems like a Hardware problem lets just see after that test then
YES ITS A HARDWARE PROBLEM, YOU HAVE NON WORKING TOUCH LINES, YOU NEED TO REPLACE YOUR TOUCH SCREEN, HERE THE GUIDE, I KNOW YOU'LL NEVER DO IT, BUT IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS, PRESS THANKS BUTTON

Nope. Wiped data before updating. Figured it would be best to give the update a fresh start.

Yep, getting the exact same thing on every reboot, seems to cause a delayed boot, im on the latest androwook, did all the wipes on twrp recovery and everything, its a bugger, as it slows down my bootup.
Doesnt seem to be a solution, ive tried a dalvik and cache wipe but the problem persists, ill go as far as saying that doing a dalvik wipe is what initiates it, as i dont ever remember getting it, when ive restored my apps through titanium, essentilly installing the apps as if ive installed them individually over a period of time
Ive been restoring the data portion (apps, widgets, settings, launcher) from my latest twrp backup after every rom flash.........always comes back when i do it that way, reckon i backed up the *issue* aswell.
I think its got to do with something on that side of things, a script or something not getting updated to reflect that the scan was already done *shrugs*
Started happening to me after I did a custom rom install. Any of you guys go back and forth between stock and custom? Still a newb at this but maybe Asus knows and there's something it can't update?

Please help with Nh5 >> Nk2

simply flashing nk2 will not wipe it. if you choose to factory reset the phone that will wipe it. you say the phone is not "acting right" if that is the case than perhaps it would be helpful to wipe the phone. I do not use philz recovery and I am pretty sure that if you use odin to flash you would have to reinstall philz. I flash with odin and mobile odin only. but to answer your question flashing does not wipe unless you choose to wipe and if your phone is acting up maybe its best you wipe it .When flashing you can clear the cache and dalvik cache safely without losing your apps and settings. as long as you do not wipe data you will retain your apps. . hope this clears things up a bit.

Moto e hangs and Recovery not working

I don't know its a virus or what but suddenly my phone was not responding. I had a doubt that it was a virus so I decided to wipe everything but my recovery also stopped working.
How can I solve this ?
What ROM are you using?I suggest flashing a new ROM This time wipe everything except SDcard if it fails then wipe SDcard too.
nothing is working :/ i tried adb and tried to mount the system but it is failing. tried to wipe through twrp nothing working.
update twrp to 3.0.0 but still same
Now I have done "fastboot erase system" now my os is not starting and i am unable to flash another through adb
Please Any suggestion ?
anyone ?
if u erased system partition then os wont start as u have erased os files. Now the best thing to do is wipe all partitions from twrp. download a new custom rom and flash it through twrp. if u were using stock rom and want it u may get that from forums too. if u have a working nandroid backup ( which i feel u dont have) of previous rom u may try that
i can't format or wipe or do anything from my twrp.
EDIT: you can see it in the video
Don't keep creating new threads for this issue... and don't create threads with profanities in the title and text.
Whether the filter edits your profanities or not, your intention to swear is clear and unacceptable here.
Your other thread has been deleted.
Keep posting your issues within this thread and hopefully someone will help you.
We don't need multiple threads for every issue you progressively find yourself in.
It also makes it harder for someone to help you, if you're constantly creating a new thread for each new issue.
